I kinda have a love/hate with the whole mlp fandom but I do enjoy somethings like the artworks.

Yes...I used to hate mlp and I cringe at this...but I finally did watched a few episodes and I completely loved it.

I admit I do like some clopfics....that seem to gain my interest.

Princess Luna...I can somewhat relate to her.

Mane six....I like them all and their personalities....but mostly pinkie pie.

I can be too open minded...about this.

I think sometimes we go too far within this fandom but....I don't want to argue though. Sorry..

*Unpopular opinion alert*

 

I really dislike how they handle Fluttershy's character on the show and I feel like they're wasting potential with her, honestly. They've done some bizarre and inconsistent things with her personality, and it really kind of irks me. 

 

I don't really like Rainbow Dash or Applejack. I don't really hate them, but I don't understand why their so popular, Rainbow Dash in particular. She's really self-absorbed and boring as a character in my opinion.

 

Also, Maud Pie is one of my favorite characters. Her episode got me laughing more than any other episode by far. I loved what they did with her character and the humor there, and how they made the awkwardness tangible when the other ponies were interacting with her. A lot of people said it was really boring but I absolutely adored that episode.

I was the same way at first. I was like "clopping, that is quite strange." Princess Celestia is way better than Luna. In fact, I don't even like Luna that much. She's okay, but she just doesn't appeal to me at all. I think her ability to walk through dreams is pretty interesting and like her cool bat ponies that she has with her, but she'll always be second place to Celestia in my book.

I also prefer Celestia to Luna.  And I prefer Nightmare Moon to Luna lol.  I guess the "Luna Eclipsed" episode was supposed to make me love her, but it didn't really take.  I would've rather followed RD around some more as she terrified small children. xD  The dreams thing from "Sleepless in Ponyville" was nice, though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. And I too prefer Nightmare Moon over Luna. I'm not sure what it is... like I said, it's not that I hate Luna, she's just "there" for me, so to speak. I won't speak against her nor for her, because I just don't feel that strongly about her. I am happy she is on the show since I like the whole redemption thing with her and her sister, but I can't say that she's among my favorite characters either.

 

Rainbow Dash being a mega-scare master in that episode was awesome. I've noticed she has a running trend of wanting to scare the willies out of ponies in multiple episodes, and I think that's awesome because I used to try and scare-prank people all the time, so that's something we have in common!

 

And yeah, Luna does have some sweet powers, like the dream-walking ability she has, but unless she has another episode to change my mind, she'll just remain a "decent" pony in my book.

yeah, the pony porn was what first made me aware of the shows existence in the first place. i stumbled on it looking at furry art (and porn) on e621. the next few days, the front page had a lot of mlp (sfw) art (and some clop art) uploaded on it and i noticed how a lot of it was really good. oddly, one of the few series where safe art outnumbered porn art by a wide margin.

I mean, I should probably dislike it for dealing with the Daring Do mythos badly and how it flies in the face of three seasons worth of character develop-no, Rainbow Dash was more mature than that in Episode 1-but I can forgive it because it goes all out.

Confession 1: I occasionally enjoy clop art. It's weird, I feel a little weird about it, but good art is good art I guess? To my credit, it's just the humanized art that I like.... usually.

 

Confession 2: If Twilight Sparkle came to me and wanted to make me her queen I wouldn't necessarily say no. I mean yeah she's kind of a horse but she's also super smart and powerful and kind and has her own kingdom and stuff, sooooo....

This was the photo that set my mind on a course to question why anyone would want to *yay* inside Rainbow Dash,and then noticing that there plots are kinda hot to be honest,then questioning why i found their plots all of a sudden attractive,then muddling it over in denial for some time,then eventually looking up some 'sexy' FiM art out of 'curiosity',which eventually led to clop art and then eventually clopping and enjoying the hell out of it because buck you i do what i want.

Before MLP:FIM even existed, I had a thing for past-gen ponywomen lol.  I couldn't find any "good" pics of them online, so I made some really amateurish, cut-and-paste ones of my own.  It was sad...  But hey - it worked.

 

When I first saw the FIM pony designs it reignited in me a passion for cartoon equines.  "Oh my gods, they have essentially become quadrupedal anime girls...  Do want."

 

I was looking for naughty pony pics, and - in my haste and stupidity - I typed in "pony" and a word I can't say on these forums.  And I didn't get quite the results I was aiming for lol.  "Oh crap - should've said 'my little' or 'cartoon.'"  It was a learning experience.

Maybe I've mentioned that I wrote one piece of explicit ponysmut - I forget.  But I'm also considering writing a second.  I was originally leaning RainbowApplePie because I wanted to kind-of reconcile the two stories (the former being RainbowPie).  And because writing for three chars at once would be more of a challenge.  And because farming implements.  But now I'm leaning TwiDash because I'm all-of-a-sudden open to the ship and because a unicorn horn has loads of potential.

Alright so I decided to add something else to this... My first experiences with this fandom were (minus sprays of pony porn gif sprays in TF2 [just realized how odd it is that I decided to say this while quoting PegaMister... Again, sorry!]) 2 things this fandom, for the most part, really really hates; Princess Molestia & Cupcakes. Yes, the infamous duo that gives this fandom such a bad name is what got me first voluntarily looking at MLP content      After that, my curiosity grew & grew & grew until I am what you see today

I am a a fan of shipping and gore fics. But I don't like the ship fics where it's all about sex and stuff. I like the ones where there is actually some plot, you know like they hit a few bumps in the road, they fight, you know that type of stuff. But I kinda like any type of gore fic because mostly because of my video games. Oh, and I kinda like Trixie because I always read some story about her getting killed her hurt or something and I hate that. People always make fun of her. I don't like it.
