I wouldn't say that Twilight is best pony. That award goes to Doctor Whooves.

I also wouldn't say that Twilight is best princess. Luna gets that award.

As for her color scheme, I like it. I LOVE purple. It's my favorite color, and her color scheme appeals to my love of purple.

So, anyways that's just my opinion. To each their own.

She is now my favorite main series canon thing pony, tied with Fluttershy that is. (Button Mash is my favorite overall pony) While I cannot exactly relate to her smarts, leadership skills, and overall determination, I can relate to her past anti-socialness and I do love her personality. I think the 'best princess' question is a bit early because we really have not seen much of that in action, but I do love her being a princess, so she may very well be my favorite princess already, at least tied with Luna for now. Her becoming an Alicorn princess, as some might know, was one of the major things that has made me love and appreciate her a lot more, not that she wasn't worthy of that before, but MMC really made me reflect on her and all that she has done within the 3 seasons. I know I keep saying that, but my love for that change is incredibly incredible, so....Imma keep talking about it until season 4.

 

So, I think she is a great character. Sometimes she can feel a bit generic though that was more in the earlier episodes and it really seems like they are drifting further away from that problem.

 

In terms of color scheme...I'd say it is quite good, one of the better ones of the mane 6.

 

Bring on season 4. All of this Twilight talk is making my eyes thirsty.

So, what are your opinions of her?

Twilight is one of my favorite characters in the show. She's a great leader, has a fantastic mind, and she's just plain adorkable. She rarely ever suffers from "bland main character syndrome." I love that she's balanced in strengths and weaknesses rather than being an infallible hero like so many fictional characters. She has progressed the most of any character in the show, and I have loved watching her grow as a leader and ascending into royalty.

 

Is she best pony?

She's best magic pony, best student, best librarian, best leader, and best alicorn.

 

Best princess?

Of course. She's the most relevant character in the show and has done things that Celestia and Luna only wish they could accomplish. No pony understands friendship like Twilight, and being that she possesses the most powerful element of harmony, the other princesses should be bowing down to her.

 

Does she have a good color scheme?

Purple is my favorite color, so I would definitely say so. Her streaks are cute too.

I didn't pay too much attention to Twilight at first, but once I did, I really started to like her. So climbed up my favorite pony rankings to 2nd favorite and then tied with Applejack and Luna for 1st. Since there is far more we don't than we actually do know about Twilicorn I am not even counting her as a princess yet, though part of that is because I still have some doubts and concerns about it. But Equestria Girls turned out way better than I thought which gave me some hope that perhaps that will work out as well.

Ah, Twilight Sparkle! In my list of favorites, she's in a tie for third. She's excellent with organization and magic, and she is adorable in her own way. Like all the ponies so far, she has a pretty good color scheme.

Ah, Twilight Sparkle. She has been my favorite pony since A Canterlot Wedding. I love her personality and I can relate to her anti-social past. Also, she had one of the best mental breakdowns in entertainment history.

 'Best Princess'? I think it's a little too early. As for color scheme, Twilight is one of my personal favorites. Can't go wrong with purple. Also, Twi is tied with Rarity as my favorite singer in this show.

I love Twilight Sparkle so much. Really fun character and very cute. Her voice is nice and sweet while her color scheme is beautiful. Her personality is one of the selling points in my opinion. Smart and helpful, but a little crazy when she is late for something or tardy. By little, I mean very crazy. Doesn't take much for her to lose her marbles. That's one of my main reasons for liking her.

 

As for the princess part, I have accepted Twilicorn and am interested in seeing what the writers do with her. I can see the potential here. Hopefully, it's good.

Even though Twilight is certainly not my favorite of the Main Six, I still think she has an amazing personality, color scheme, and will be an amazing princess. She is a hard working, smart, and happy pony who is also very organized. If she does become a princess and rule a certain piece of land I think she will have a couple of little problems, but mostly solve them with her wit, smartness, and understanding of other ponies. She is also very caring towards her friends and has always helped them when in need. She may have a couple of flaws here and there, but I think she recognizes them and tries to do her best at fixing them. Lately in the show she tries to stay as calm as possible before panicking like she did in the earlier episodes.

 

Overall, I think Twilight Sparkle is a wonderful pony. She tries her best to learn new things as quickly as possible (as shown in the "Equestrian Girls") and tries her best to understand just as well. She has grown so much since the first episode, and I hope we can see her grow even more soon.

I have really mixed feeling on Twilight but, not in a bad way mind you.

In my opinion she is the character with the most development behind her in the show. She also has one of the funnest episodes and makes some of the funniest faces.

Let me just say, I've never seen a worse romance plot told more poorly than Twilight. Stephanie Meyer should be ashamed of her self-indulgent, hackneyed writing and jump off a--

Well, even though she ranks below Dashie, Pinkie, Rare and AJ (all of whom currently share my Best Pony slot) for me, she's still a great character - when you get right down to it, rankings really mean nothing when each of the Mane 6 characters is lovable in her own way.

 

The way in which Twi's lovable to me is, to quote the entire rest of the fandom: "She's just so adorkable." I'm not much of a bookworm myself, so she's not one of the easier characters for me to relate to right off the bat, but she has plenty of other little quirks that are relatable, which maintain my interest in her as a character. Perhaps what I find most interesting about her personality is her borderline OCD, which has simultaneously proven to be a boon to Ponyville, as well as a detriment to herself at times - see "crazy Twi".

 

As far as princesses go, she's worst princess. No, really - she just became a princess. While she's been shown to step up and take charge quite often, this only really says that she has the potential to be a great princess...but the fact remains that she has absolutely zero formal training in being one. She's got a lot of catching up to do as far as living up to the responsibilities expected of a princess, and I think that's going to be a major part of what'll make se04 so great; watching her grow into her new role. Because let's not be fooled, it won't be easy, not even for our little egghead.

 

I, for one, can't wait to see the new and creative ways she'll melt down while trying to "grow into her wings," as it were.

I totally relate to her absolute geekiness, and I love how they have a character like her as the main character in the show, and not a Mary Sue character.

However, that's all pre-princess..
For some reason, her princessness just seems like too big a jump for her character.. She never struck me as a leader.
I see what they're going with, work hard and you'll be successful.. But maybe princess is TOO successful? I don't know it just doesn't fit her character.

Oh twilight...

 

I love all the mane 6 heck basically every pony in the show to some degree.

 

And twilight is far from an exception. She is my 2nd favorite pony, in a very close 2nd to fluttershy.

 

Heck I have on multiple ocasions thought of putting her as officially my favorite pony, but it's very conflicting, they are practically tied. Who knows some day I may decide shes my favorite.

 

Anyways, why do I love twilight?

 

Well first things first she is Infact adorkable. She is so cute and has so many adorable looks, and she just looks incredibly cute, of course all the ponies do, and fluttershy still beats her most of the time for cuteness for me, but she is still really cute .

 

I also adore her singing voice, easily my favorite in the show, she sings some of the most beautiful songs in the show in my opinion. And sings them well, she sings some of my favorite songs, I don't know why but I love her singing voice so much, always have really.

 

I look forward to more beautiful songs she sings and her bringing Daniel ingrams amazing work to life.

 

I also love watching her OCD ocasions, and her perfectionist habits, her anxiety, all are oddly entertaining, and heck I myself am a bit perfectionist and sometimes OCD at times.

 

She also has probaly the most entertaining mental breakdowns ever.

 

And her charactor is very well developed, partly due to her high screen time in S1 and in general, but I still love her.

 

And for a main charactor she is incredibly complex and has a very human like personality, of course this is really just a trait of the show.

 

I can also relate to her transition from not caring about friends, to having much value to them, because I had a period of time where I didn't care for friends or anything for a while, but after seeing mlp I started to care more. Now I very much value my friends, even if I still have to work on my bonds with them, especially my IRL ones.

 

I can also relate to her social akwardness she has for awhile, because I was homeschooled until 8th grade in which I went into public school, and I was a bit socially inexperienced. Of course I've got much better so I really don't do to many akward things(well that I know of )

 

Also, the fact twilight is a bit of a leader of the group, yet the smart one is interesting, seeing as normally the leader of the group is the brave strong one, like rainbow or AJ, but it's twilight, which is a nice change of pace.

 

Also, I love unicorns, as magic has always been my preferred fantasy element typically, in RPGs and adventure games the Mage is always my favorite, thus no surprise I like unicorns like twilight.

 

Dang, with all the stuff I listed about why I love twilight makes me wonder why I haven't put her as my favorite pony yet .

 

As far as favorite princess, she hasn't been a princess long enough frankly, EqGs only gives us a little bit, and so does the s3 finale. So I'm kinda indifferent for the most part, however the small bit of her in EqG's makes me a bit more confident things shall work out.

 

Overall I trust the writers will be able to do a good job with her regardless, her having wings doesn't bother me, of course I haven't really been jumping for joy over it, so I consider myself neutral mostly for now.

 

Her color scheme is easily probaly my favorite, or very close to being my favorite, I honestly can't think of any I like more. I also very much like her mane .

 

Maybe I shall make her my favorite, who knows.

 

Ps. I would very much love to see a episode with rainbow teaching twilight to fly. Just saying.

Twlight's mah best pony. But she's doesn't seem look fit for a princess, (in my opinion) but that medal goes to Princess Luna. But of course she's the best pony in magic! She also looks like the leading character for Mane Six. Her character development has changed since season one, and I think that's the only time I didn't really like Twilight that time. Oh yeah, OMG I LOVE THAT PURPLE. (Fanboy alert )

Although some people don't like (or not used to) her being a alicorn, I think it's a great development in the show and I'm excited for what happens with her in season 4. I also think shes a excellent character.

Even though she's my least favorite character of the Mane 6, that isn't saying much. She has a lot of memorable and funny moments in the show, especially when she goes crazy. And I also think that her transition to an alicorn is good character development.
