Favorite Song in a Different Language?

Hello everyone,

I recently started browsing over MLP songs when I clicked on a song that's dubbed over, but not english.

I watched it for a while then I said to myself "Wow, this is really amazing"

 

So I wanted to ask the community, what's your favorite song in the show (Not in english)

Even if it doesn't have an English equivalent, can I still say the Japanese version of the theme song? It's just so catchy and cheerful, just like all their elaborate introductions.

I have always loved Latin arias and Italian operas in large part because I grew up with that kind of music. My Dad used to own an Italian restaurant and that kind of music would be playing in the background.

I don't listen to much that isn't in English, but there are a few songs I like that stand out. Rammstein's work is great in general, and I really like Blümchen's Heut Ist Mein Tag. I also like a few German electronic songs that I've found, but I don't think those qualify here.

While I can't remember anything about the French language (taking German in grade 10 kind of overwrote it), I love how this sounds. The voices are all very fitting and it seems very natural to the untrained ear.

Well, for MLP FIM, I've seen the Mexican spanish version of each songs, and they sound very well done and adorable as usual.

 

Truly they are doing their best over there, which I'm glad for.

Seriously. I am from France, and I think that the french voices are really bad. Especially Rarity and Dashie. And Pinkie sounds... wrong. I mean, my friends all have a bad opinion of MLP because of the french voices.

Also, the translation is sometimes a bit off : Winter Wrap Up is translated as "L'hiver s'enfuit", wich means "Winter is going away". It sounds like winter is ending on its own, instead of having this idea of the ponies "wrapping it up" and replacing it by spring. And Cutie Mark is translated as "Marque de beauté"("Beauty Mark"), but I guess you can't really blame them for that, it's a term that does not translate well.

Japanese version of at the gala is surprisingly wonderful arguably on par or better than the English version , likewise Pinkie Pie's part is really good and so is choir , the fandom was surprised that a Mane 6 song was dubbed too bad they didn't or couldn't do winter wrap up and art of the dress

However if we're going with pony songs, then Becoming Popular in German is my favorite. German Rarity's singing voice is actually very good. And that's surprising because German tends to ruin most anything cute haha (nothing against the Germans. Actually my best friend is German lol)

My favorite is "Find a Pet" in German, mostly because I am currently learning German, so I can understand bits and pieces, and because it just sounds awesome.
