Consider every little act, big or small, and the actions throughout all the seasons. Who stood out to you the most for their kindness; who did so the least?

Well...from kindest to rudest while excluding Fluttershy, here we go:

 

1. Pinkie Pie
2. Applejack
3. Twilight Sparkle
4. Rarity
5. Rainbow Dash

Pinkie Pie is quite obvious as she's usually quite kind and caring toward most ponies. Rainbow comes off as the rudest for me as she usually speaks her mind without thinking first. She became a bit nicer in "Hurricane Fluttershy" and Season 3 but she still comes off as rude quite a lot.

1. Applejack: Applejack gave Twilight the warmest welcome to Ponyville, often treats her friends almost like family.

 

2. Pinkie Pie: Pinkie Pie wants to make friends with everyone, but is sometimes impatient and a bit oblivious to matters of personal space.

 

 

3. Twilight Sparkle: Twilight can be somewhat anal at times but is nice and polite most of the time.

 

4. Rarity: Rarity can sometimes be a bit demanding and can come off as a prima donna but does have a soft and caring side which often shows with her relationship with her sister.

 

5. Rainbow Dash: She can sometimes be a bit rude, crude and impatient but really is a big softie once you get to know her.

Pinkie Pie is really a very kind pony, just like Fluttershy. Rainbow does have some rude characteristics, but she is nice at times.

Pinkie Pie is always throwing parties for her best friends, almost never gets mad at her friends for what they've done (minus Party of One) and always has a happy demeanor.

Applejack offered for Twilight Sparkle to stay for her Apple Family Reunion (In the first episode), and thinks of her friends like family. (as quoted by

3. Rarity

 

Rarity hates to be offensive to her friends, and when around them, she treats them like she's having tea with the Queen of England. She always offers to make dresses for the Mane Six.

 

4. Twilight Sparkle

 

Twilight can be nice at most times, but also tends to get caught up in her studies, and doesn't have much time to think of her friends. But again, is a nice pony.

 

5. Rainbow Dash

 

At first looks, Rainbow Dash looks cocky, and cares too much of herself than her friends, but throughout the series, shows her kindness towards her friends.

Pinkie Pie is cheery, fun and loves hanging with her friends. I hardly see her say anything rude or offensive.

She is deep to the down loyal and cares for her family and friends.

Even tough Dashie is my favourite she can be quite mean but hopefully she'll improve her behavior a little more in Season 4 though she was fairly nice in some episodes. I believe she be a loud mouth.

Pinkie Pie: Reasons are not exactly needed. All that needs to be said is, 'Smile, smile, smile!'

 

Rarity: This one might seem off, but she has done plenty of services for her friends both free of charge and on her own.

 

Applejack: As much as I have not liked Applejack lately, I cannot deny her loyalty to her friends. Still, her brashness in Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 annoys the hell out of me.

 

Twilight Sparkle: She is basically tied with Applejack. While she can be easily distracted by other things, she is eager to help and can be a huge help in the process.

 

Rainbow Dash: Season 3 has made me appreciate her character more, but her arrogance has led her to not exactly help friends where she could or should have. Plus, no one likes a constant show off and RD is that at times. Still, gotta love her for that.

Some would argue that kindness comes in many different calibers. Unfortunately for this topic, I am one of those people that would argue that said statement.

Alright folks, gather round. Usually I'm extremely bias in many topics on this forum, but this time I'll be even more bias in a said direction.

 

So, I don't have a darn-tootin' problem with ol' Fluttershy, some would even say I actually don't mind her at all. But what fun would this be if I had to follow the rules, eh?

 

SO. Let's lay some things down here. Let it be known that I am self-certified in nearly everything and have the proper documentation to prove this. Now I may not have as much know-how on the show as some folks, but I am indeed self certified in it. So, you can correct me if I'm supposedly wrong, but I assure you no matter how hard you try, I am not wrong. Even if I am wrong, I'm still right.

 

Okay, okay, where does all this lead? Easy. 

Who's to say we don't just toss good ol' Rainbow Dash up there in front of ol' Fluttershy. I mean she can fly... Well so can Fluttershy, but she's to afraid to do anything groovy. 

 

Yeah, Rainbow Dash may be self-absorbed and cynical, but that's what increases her kindness bro. I mean seriously, kindness radiating off of her ass to the extent where one can't even see in front of them.

Why is Rainbow Dash so kind you ask? Well just look at her, she's all rainbow-y. Rainbows are like UNITY bro. I mean fo-shizzles. 

 

Where am I going with this? nowhere. Just sayin'... People always be like: "Yo dawg, Rainbow Dash always be like extra whack, homie. She be mean up in this shit!" but I'm all like: "Naw, homes. She's just assertive! She wouldn't have to lay down the fo-rizzle shit if the other ones weren't so off the chain, dawg!"

 

But really. Sometimes on the great motorhome trip we call life, you gotta be mean, to be nice. That way you show all them folks out there that they need a bigger sign and stupid things happen to them simply because they are indeed a dumbass.

1: Pinkie Pie- Always ready to lend a helping hoof and never afraid to ask what's wrong or how she can help

2: Applejack- She's always there, dependable and honest, though sometimes honest to a fault

3: Rarity- She is always concerned about her friend's well being. For example, in the Iron Will episode, she forgives Fluttershy for her rudeness.

4: Twilight Sparkle- Loves her friends, but has a sarcastic and witty mind that can sometimes say things that unintentionally hurt others.

5: Rainbow Dash: While she is loyal, she has the greatest tendency to be vain, which can cause her to be very hurtful at times. I will admit though, she has gotten a lot better during S2 and 3. This is mostly a S1 problem.

Applejack since she actually got an award and recognition for it. We also seen her take on various jobs for others and gives away her bounty (apples) in several episodes to her friends and others.

 

Rarity generosity has more value when she puts in the creative, time, and effort for it.

 

Pinkie Pie throws parties, tries to get some laughs, and does odd things. She can be obnoxious and stubborn if they don't play along.

 

Twilight Sparkle since this is her job.

 

Rainbow Dash is the least generous.

1. Applejack. She was really nice to Twilight, when she came to Ponyville in the first episode. She was first to notice that something isn't right with Scootaloo in Sleepless in Ponyville. She also noticed when Twilight was sad about her brother's wedding. She helped Fluttershy in Dragonshy, while others (especially Rainbow) said that she only slow them down. Etc. There's actually the plenty of little moments, which show how kind she is, even if she sometimes is impatient or rude.

 

2. Pinkie Pie. She is usually really kind and it's beautiful how she wants to make others smile, but she isn't as sensitive as Applejack or Fluttershy. 

 

3. Twilight Sparkle / Rarity. I can't decide They're usually really kind and caring ponies, too.

 

4. Rainbow Dash. She might be a little harsh, but she really cares about her friends and I admire it.

Exactly. Well, I'm AJ's fan, though I really like Rarity, too. But this argument is simply weak without further explanation.

Rarity loves her sister, of course, but it was showed in the series, that her relationship with Sweetie isn't as good as Applejack's with Apple Bloom. They learned to accept their differences and love each other no matter what, but their relationship wasn't always as good as it is now. Better example of Rarity's kindness would be how she treated ponies in 'Rarity takes Manehattan' or fact that she wanted to make dresses for her friends. She's also usually really polite, which shows her respect for other ponies.

Arrogant? If you talk about ''I didn't learn anything" from The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000- I don't think that she really send that letter. In my opinion it was just a joke and it was supposed to sound like one.

2. Rarity- She has never been mean once, except when her friends ditched her in her time of need (Rarity Takes On Manehattan)

3. Twilight Sparkle- Tries to make kindness fit even with her studies.
