Well, to be fair (pun partially intended), Saron was kind of in suspended animation for those one thousand years. Being a Crystal Pony from the era in which Sombra ruled, he was present at the sealing of the Empire. Given his ability, he's got the knowledge to fit that age as well.

It makes no sense.

In pretty sure they were referring to Redwave who is actually there. Redwave asked Saronyx to find a path through the flames so that Red and Willow could be safe while Blizzard and Blast distracted Orion.

 

Also on a side note since I'm not sure if you saw it but I'm pretty sure Orion may have full out attacked Blast. Like with then intention of killing him. Your character never really responded to it so I thought I'd point it out.

Okay, reading this post back to myself, it sounds really hostile - which isn't the intention at all if it comes across that way: I'm posting from work so don't really have time to word things well...

 

@, Blast needs toning down.

 

I'm having to repeatedly invent new abilities at increasingly ridiculous speeds to even justify the villain being remotely threatening: struck by lightning? Shrugs it off. Set on fire? Shrugs it off... I'm purposefully trying to make the villain overpowered to give the group a reason to work together to overcome something threatening, but so far everything that happens just has Blast kind of shrug and face it down - Right now it feels like the rest of the group wouldn't even be needed.

 

An example being the last post: if his power is speed, and his character page says that he isn't particularly strong but is fast, then how can he uppercut someone into the sky?

 

If you play some kind of super-hero then it spoils the story for other characters: when we get to the end I don't want an RP that ends with the whole group lounging on deck chairs while Blast handles all of their problems.

 

Sorry if this comes across as harsh: you're not the only one and I love the way he interacts with the group, his character, you write him well... he's just far too powerful for the RP as he is at the moment. It feels like to cause any threat at all I would have to godmod injuries and such directly onto him: which I don't want to have to do.

I acknowledged the fact that Orion is burning the life out of Blast and I took out the upper-cut and running into the trees part.

No worries: I don't want to sound like some railroading tyrant or anything, and I'm not saying that Blast had to be pathetic or anything like that: just try to keep him equal to the other party members.

 

Everyone has their crowning moments of awesome, but if that happens over and over it starts to spoil things.

 

I'll get a post up shortly by the way.

Sorry folks, its going to be another few hours before I can post: I've been in meetings all day and now I'm due to meet someone: and rushing a post on my phone is only going to end badly.
