So what is your favorite game based off of any form of media. It could be a TV show it could be a movie or anything that's based off of something. Here's mine

Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom: I recently played this game, it's actually very addicting and fun. It's kind of like Banjo Kazooie with Spongebob characters and the dialogue can be funny.

So what's your favorite discuss away!

Well, I rather liked "The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge" which is an obvious video game version of the movie: "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

I just find the game to be tons of fun, especially the singing/dancing fights.

Pretty easily Batman: Arkham Asylum. When it was first announced, I thought "Oh, cool, a new Batman tie-in game; and it's actually not based on the movies. Eh, I actually have some hope that it might not suck."

It then went on to win game of the year awards, and a number of other adventure-fighting games since have copied its system of counters and combos.

A little side mention goes to Spiderman 2: The Video Game. You know a free-roaming game has succeeded when you actually enjoy wandering around the cityscape doing random stuff instead of missions.

I actually have a few. One of them are the WWE games. I'm a HUGE pro wrestling fanatic. Even though it's fake, it's still pretty fun to watch. Though, I will admit, the attitude era will always reign supreme in my book (I remember Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stomping mud holes and drinking beer.)

But, without a doubt, my favorite series has to be the Batman Arkham series. It does almost everything a video game can offer right. Good storylines, good controls, great mission structure, and best of all, fantastic game play.

Star Wars games, like Rogue Squadron and Force Unleashed(yeah, I liked those games, shuddup, where's #3?)

Spider-Man games(Spider-Man 2, Shattered Dimensions, also liked Edge of Time)

Oh and the King Kong game from 2005, one of the best and probably most overlooked and forgotten first-person games of all time, it was so good, as I remember it anyway.

Does Pokemon count? I'm not really sure which is based off which, but I'm really enjoying the 6th generation of thems pocket monsters. Right now I'm building up my team to trounce some newbs which catching them all. Because you just have to catch them all.

The scope of what can be done in pokemon has gotten so massive, it's no wonder adults still enjoy it.

Battle for Bikini Bottom was a great game! The dialogue was funny, the level design was surprisingly fun and it didn't look like the devs shot it out for a quick buck.

Hmm, now I need to think... Oh I know! The SNES Toy Story game. I was a big fan of the movie when I was a kid and my parents bought the game for me. It was really difficult though and there was no way for 6 year old Celtore to beat it all the way through, but I made it up to the claw boss stage before I had to continue past it. The platforming I was surprisingly fine with.
