I do listen to The Sex Pistols, Social Distortion, and The Clash every once in a while. Social Distortion would probably be my favorite punk band. Do Joy Division really count as punk? They're post-punk.

Eyeeeup, but I can't really pick favorites. I like Alternative music in general and also the subgenres of punk(pop-punk, punk-rock,etc)

Old Green Day is glorious in my opinion(especially Dookie). I prefer bands who sing also about themes like personal freedom and stuff over political bands(for example Anti-Flag).

I used to be in an Iggy Pop cover band in highschool, now a days I don't listen to much Punk but when I do it's more stuff like The Germs, Iggy and the Stooges, Black Flag, The Clash and The Bouncing Souls.

They are definately pop-punk, which is probably my favorite subgenre of punk, especially their older albums . Bands like Sum41, the Offspring, Blink-182, Zebrahead, are awesome in my opinion.

When it comes to original punk bands I like them either a lot(the Clash f.e.) or rather "Meh, one or two songs at a time then I have enough"(like for example the Sex Pistols)

Yeah, I listen to punk every now and then. I love the offspring, The Casualties, and Fight Before Surrender. Right now I am listening to Rise Against's song Savior.

I like the Misfits and I know Blag Flag too less.

I've seen that picture lol. I think Kurt should be a peguses because I saw a picture a him performing live and it looked like he had wings because of the In Utero angel. Dave would make a great unicorn and Krist looks just like Krist lol.

I laughed so hard when I saw ponyfied Krist. I am a huge NIrvana fan and have read/seen almost everything about them

Oh yeah, this is my kind of thread. I'm heavy into punk; not so much the older stuff, more of the current generation of punx. Comadre is probably my favorite punk band.

 

I'm although more into hardcore, screamo, powerviolence though. e.g. Orchid, The Kodan Armada, Honeywell, Vowel, etc.
