This thread will be about any good songs you'd recommend for people to have in their music playlist. It could either be MLP fan made music, MLP song remixes, and other songs you like that has nothing to do with ponies. So, what songs do you all recommend?

Ok NONE of the responses are even talking about brony music. This is in sugarcube corner for a reason and that is mostly what op requested. :okiedokielokie:

 

I'd recommend checking out both of the blogs i run in my signature. While BMD features samples of just about everyone making mlp music i'd recommend clicking on genres on the top and finding some of the best picks of each genre and artists who specialize in that style. You can also check out the EQD spotlights for each of the year on the right side of the blog (listed by month) or the top songs of 2011 and 2012 (we'll hopefully see a load of 2013 lists soon at the end of the year). We try to load the site with a wealth of info about the music from the fanbase.

 

Definitely check out our other new blog fimmusic.tumblr to see what is going on CURRENTLY in the fanbase and who we recommend. With others support we can hopefully make that the "Pitchfork for Ponies"  site for overlooked and underground brony music. Subscribe if you want to see it in its feed and support its continuation and growth.

Ugh. Is it bad that every artist I recognize on this thread (except those posted by @. Rock on!) I find to be absolutely horrible?

 

For Brony music, I heartily recommend Night Breeze, Carbon Maestro, and EileMonty. I would also recommend my good friend Warbalist, in all his marvelous splendor!

 

Now, as far as normal artists go, I recommend you start listening to Dean Martin if you like oldies, and OneRepublic if you're into the newer stuff. That's just my shortlist, though. My full list is FAR longer than that, but this is Sugarcube Corner, and we're supposed to talk ponies.

Nah its ok to have different taste. I can't listen to the WoodenTombstoneOmniSilvaViators as i got that out of my system in 2011 (and liked PPS, SGAP, Makkon, and NACP far more at the time). Its gotten to sound like annoying pop and edm music to me.

My favorite band, TRAPT's second album, Someone in Control. If I had the just reccomend one song, it'd be "Lost Realist", but the entire thing is AMAZING.
