Tonight... Groups C and D will begin their action... Two potential groups of death... a night of action and excitement.

 

In Group C, the aspiring cellist and the leader of the Cutie Mark Crusaders face off in what will be a key Group C matchup. Little may be decided between the two characters, and this match could indeed be a cracker! Both characters will want to get off to a fast start to fend off any chance of elimination in the group stages!

 

In Group D, Scootaloo and Princess Celestia go head to head in what should be the match of the night. The tomboy of the CMC versus the princess of the sun. Both characters know this will be a key match for their campaigns, and both characters are eager to start with a win.

Tonight, we have 8 more competitors opening their World Cup accounts from groups C and D.

Well, I guess saying AJ is going to win this round would be a safe bet :D

Anyway, I don't have too much invested in the next round, it seems. I'll still root for little Apple Bloom to overcome Octavia, but the rest seem uninteresting because of a lack of interest in the characters or victory is pretty much a sure shot for one of the competitors involved :derp: Can't wait to see how this turns out, though! :D

Fluttershy and Pinkie.

 

Celestia got the edge over Scootaloo by an inch. This may or may not be due to the Mindless Gonzo dub of Molestia.

 

Octavia over Applebloom. I love her fan-made stuff and she's Vinyl marefriend. I just gave Octavia the lead!

Anyway, about the three matches today...

 

 

 

This morning (Pacific Time), Mexico and Cameroon's battle one on one was an intense nail biter, with the majority of the game having not a single successful goal...until Mexico, on the 61st minute, scores a point and maintains that score to gain a victory.

 

More shockingly, the Netherlands annihilated Spain with a score of Spain 1 - 5 Netherlands. The former World Cup champion has been surprisingly beat to the ground and simply destroyed. The game started with a penalty kick by Spain's Alonso...but soon later in the first half, Netherland's Van Persie scores as well with a header that sent the soccer ball flying into the goal. The second half was simply a break down; Robben, then Vrij, then Persie yet again scores, and Robben yet again finishes the job on the 80th minute, giving them the fifth point.

 

Chile and Australia's game was equally interesting. While within the first fifteen minutes, Chile's Sanchez and Valdivia scored twice, Australia's Cahill seemingly gave Australia a fighting chance with the score at 2 - 1. Sadly, try as they must, they were unable to get the ball into the goal as Chile's Bravo stubbornly blocks any shot. Australia has its own fair share of close calls during the first and second half, with Australia's Parades blocking the ball that was merely centimeters away from the goal line, preventing a goal. Despite having many opportunities, Australia finally cracked when Beausejour kicked into Ryan's goal at the 92nd minute (stoppage time), ending the game with Chile 3 - 1 Australia.

Two Mane 6 and two CMC? While I do want them both to win, it's actually going to be pretty interesting – and jaw-dropping – if the supporting and background characters actually win. 

 

Though don't expect me to vote for Vinyl later on.  >_> Like I said several times, I don't like her.

Fluttershy scootaloo and pinkie pie applebloom vs octavia was hard for me but am gonna go with octavia sorry applebloom  :( i really like you but i also like classic music so octavia  :3
