Can An MLP Magazine Work?

If Hasbro were to put out a monthly magazine dedicated solely to MLP, would there be enough of us fans (Bronies and target demographic) to support it? Or is it possible for the Bronydom to produce and sustain our own fanzine with content from the community, updates about the show and interviews with the cast & crew? Cause there are successful fan run magazines out there, so do you think MLP can have it's own magazine?

I think we have enough support to help Hasbro publish a monthly magazine dedicated to the show. Either way, the fandom or Hasbro can pull off making a magazine dedicated to the show whether from their perspective or our own.

In order for Hasbro/HUB to get on board, you probably would have to use its whole line of products and even then its doubtful.

 

Magazines just don't sell anymore, the internet is much more profitable... that and we ain't gotta worry about cutting up more Flutter-trees

I don't think that a print magazine would be necessary since we have news sources like Equestrian Daily. I feel like only dumb people buy most magazines these days. The Internet is just better. Magazines are outdated IMO.

It's cool to hold the paper thing but no, I don't think it would. They just can't really. The internet is so much bigger and better that it's useless.

Well, I think it'd be great if it had enough content that isn't easily found throughout the Internet and is interesting to read.

 

As long as it doesn't cost $15USD per magazine, I'd buy all of them.

Eh, my husband subscribes to a magazine on his kindle so that it doesn't pile up with each new edition.

 

I am all for print things in some cases... I still like my physical books and having a bookshelf. I like to handwrite things. It is nice to get a handwritten letter. But I dunno, usually when I think of magazines, I think of the ones in the checkout line at the store that all need to burn in Hell. Well, most of them. Mostly Cosmo and tabloids.
