Personally i would choose Still Alive,

the nostalgia factor and the lyrics are a little better for me

Still Alive has a certain charm that Want You Gone doesn't. It's hard to describe, really. Probably has something to do with how Portal 2 tried too hard, story-wise.

Still Alive. Want You Gone isn't bad or anything but I think it's one of those situations where it's just funnier ( or funner) the first time around. They tried to recreate the magic and just didn't work as well for me  -_-.

I prefer "Want You Gone" to "Still Alive". The lyrics are so much more ironic, the melody is better, and the sound production is higher, being a later creation.

I don't know... I like Want You Gone a bit more. I think it's a lot catchier and a lot more song like than Still Alive. It doesn't carry the same nostalgia or the same type of humour as the original, but I like it more as a song.

They're both equally great.
But I think I'll go with Still Alive.. Probably because I like how it keeps building up (i.e. With each verse and chorus, a new instrument is added and the song sounds bigger).. That and I prefer the sounds of real instruments over synthetic instruments which seemed prominent in Want You Gone..
But still, both are really good songs, I just prefer how Still Alive sounds.

Ok, this is like, freaking impossible.

 

I love both songs to much.

 

Like heck i love the portal series in general, and especially so the fact that both end themes have humorous lyrics.

 

However, as much as "Still Alive" is very classic and a bit nostalgic, I think i'm going to have to lean very slightly to "Want you gone", i dunno, both are good, but i just find "Want you gone" to be a bit catchier.

 

Both are great though, and i love both games a ton .(Seriously, i love games that don't take themselves very seriously at all, or really just humorous games in general. Maybe its because of how random i am lol.)
