Mario 64 or ocarina of Time... I can't remember properly. All I know is that I am a die hard Nintendo fan because of it.

I had my brother's Genesis collection. The only ones I would play for hours on end were the original Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic 2 until the Genesis crapped out in 2001.

I don't remember, to be honest. I think my first game was Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins for the Game Boy. I played it last year, and I thought "Why does this look and feel familiar?"

Super Mario Bros on NES, think I was 4 years old or something. I remember dying on the first Goomba, it shall haunt me forever ; - ;

Donkey Kong Country for SNES. My mom actually got hooked on that game, and that's how I got into it. I remember being like six years old and waking up in the middle of the night around 2AM when my mom would get home from her shifts at the restaurant. I'd sit there and watch her play. She would always be like "Go back to bed!" at first, but she would always eventually let me stay and watch for awhile. 

 

Eventually my parents let me have the SNES in my room. I vividly remember waking up in the middle of the night on the weekends and seeing my mom sitting in front of my tv playing DKC2. One time I woke up because I heard her cursing under her breath - she was playing that one annoying vine level when you play as the parrot lol. I would just roll over and watch contentedly until I fell back asleep.

 

We had a good system. I'd play some levels during the day; she'd play some levels at night. We ended up beating all 3 of the DKC SNES games together. My mom is awesome.

 

My other earliest video game memories are all SNES games: Lion King, Kirby's Avalanche, Mario Kart, and Super Mario All Stars.

It was probably Super Mario World on the SNES or Abe's Odyssey on the Playstation (1). I bought SMW back awhile ago, and I still have the same AO I had....16 years ago :comeatus:. Still a good game , though I don't play it much. It did give me a nightmare once .

Some pacman game on the PS1, it wasn't like the traditional pacman, there were actually adventures and stuff.

I played Pac-Man World 2 never played the first one its a great game

Crash Bandicoot! Admittedly, I don't really like this game as much as I used to as a kid due to its intense difficulty and off-model characters, but it is the game that started my love for many, many things. The Crash Bandicoot games get better after the original, however. c:
