private An Imperfect Situation: The RP

Fiera decided she had waited long enough, and started to fly back to the crates. It didn't take long for her powerful wings to get her back to everypony. "I located a noticeably medium sized clearing in the grass with trees surrounding it. It would be a nice place for shelter" she said to anypony who would listen. She knew she wasn't in charge, so it would probably better for her to just let other ponies make decisions.

(Man i am off to a terrible start.)

@@SilverHeart,

Bayonet looked for her bag among the others in a large pile that washed up on shore. After a bit of looking she finally found it and put them on. Then when she was was on her way to a group of ponies, she saw a mare who kinda look like she was hurt. Being the pony who worries more about others then her elf. She head over to her to see if she could help her out. "Excuse me. Are you alright, miss?"

Flame looked towards the pegasus. "Good to know about the clearing miss" Flame said as looked at the other ponies. "Hopefully we can get there before the sun starts to set" He said. "How far is the clearing anyways" He decided to asked. "Because if it's too far in then we might have to head there in the morning unless everyone is okay with going right now, I'll bring the supplies with us also" He said

@,

(What an amazing quote)

Fiera pointed off to the clearing. "Not too far. Only took me a minute or two to fly over here from it. I think it would be perfect!" she said and smiled. She was still flying, cautious of her front hooves. They hurt even when she was flying, and worried about further injury. "If there are any medical supplies in those crates, it would be nice to patch up my hooves. I think they shattered..."

At the mention of the clearing, Nassir became visibly pleased. He had some concern that the island may well lack a good clearing... as long as it was significantly large enough, there should be no problem. At the mention of bringing the supplies, Nassir halted. "Perhaps we should wait until our unicorn is rested enough to lift the crates with his magic... it would be slow going to push these all the way through to this clearing, and as the clearing is not far from the shore, it will be a short walk until then...although we should move the tents before tonight." He paused as the mare spoke of injured legs. Shattered... "I searched some of these and, beyond bandages and what seemed to be pain killers, medical supplies were limited... I know of brews that may assit, we simply have to hope this island has ingredients we need.... I shall keep my eyes open as we move to this clearing.... I will need something to use as a bowl, however..."

Dawnblink looked up at the mention of him and a clearing a small ways into the forest. "I believe I will be at at least half capacity by the morning. If we want to do the most efficient thing, I say we just sleep on the beach here, under the stars," he said, entirely ignorant to Nassir's star issue.

"I'm not much of a doctor or a medical expertise but there are a few crates with med supplies in them" He said. "I'll be a bit behind dragging these to the clearing" He said motioning towards the crates. "But I'll be able to catch up" He smiled. "Is anyone going to go with her to the clearing at all and are any of you going to stay and help me takes these crates to the clearing" He decided to ask

"I  shall accompany her to the clearing. I must search for the herbs I need regardless..." he paused as the unicorn spoke on how they should simply rest on the beach the first night. Not an all together terrible idea. They could set up the tents, and in the morning move... at the mention of sleeping under the stars, he grew wide eyed. "Have you a death wish? Letting the stars see us as we sleep can do nothing, nothing but bring misfortune upon us all!" He said, speaking to the unicorn that was obviously not thinking clearly from his magic drain. It was the only explanation for this... foolishness... if they allowed the stars to watch them through the whole night... they'd undoubtably whisper thier desires into the dreams of atleast one of them... and misfortune will befall them all, more so than it had.

Blink was now sitting and squinted at the sound of Nassir's voice raising. "I... Stars are sentient? Huh, who knew? We could uh... sleep under trees I guess. The canopy should keep the sky out of view..." His voice sound tired, and he looked just slightly pale. Magic drainage felt very similar to having the flu, and there wasn't much to help out the recharging process. "But I still don't believe would should be heaving these crates around. It took us almost ten minutes to get them all up the shore. It would be best for us to wait until dawn has been damaged." Dawnblink's leader instinct was starting to take over and he tried to end his statement with a saying he had heard once, but it would seem he had taken it too literally.

"What is wrong with you and the stars exactly" Flame decided to finally ask. "Nothing bad will happen if you sleep under the stars" Flame said. "In fact I done it a few time and so far nothing bad has happened" Flame continued. He stopped when he heard the unicorn. "I guess your right...well then I guess we'll just head to sleep then" he said. "I won't go to sleep though...can really rest until we know if there is anything at all that could hurt any of us"

Sleeping through all of the talking, screaming and conversing, Spacer finally awoke outside of the raft on the beach opening his eyes slowly "the hell?" he murmured to himself as he began to move his hoofs and sat upright. Squinting to get a better view of what was around him.

In front of him, an island of some sort with hoof prints heading in multiple directions. Behind him, a calm blue ocean from which he arrived from. Memories started to flash into Spacer's mind as he remembered the tragedy that struck the cruise ship that he was on. He shook his head of those memories and shook off the layer of sand that had stuck to his coat. 'This is gunna be just grand' he thought to himself as he got up noticing multiple scratches on his hind legs. 'huh must have caught my legs on something...'

His stomach growled. "Ugh...there's gotta be something around here to eat around here" He looked around realizing it was late. "Wonderful" he said as he looked up to the sky "Alone and hungry" he said as he laid down resting his head in the sand glancing up at the stars trying to make out pictures.

(Really sorry for a really late post! I tried to read up on as much as I could, i will post more frequently tomorrow, promise)

Nassir had a look of utter disbelief at the Pegsus stating that the stars were completely harmless... were they insane!?"You have gotten lucky. The stars typically have an easier time with it when there are groups... the Stars destroyed the Zebras first, and last... what you ponies would call a 'city'... Less than a week after it had been built, the stars fell from the sky, and rained death upon the city, destroying it and killing thousands." he said, feeling for all the world like a teacher having to educate foulish colts and fillys. "They invade your mind, whispering thier desires as you dream.... drive you mad,or push you towards terrible acts..." he shivered. "If one happens to have prolonged exposed to a fallen star, than they are cursed... only mayhem and tragedy follow them..." He looked at the Unicorn as he spoke about being confused about the stars sentiance. "Of course they are, you fool. Your very own Nightmare Moon escaped her banishment by assistance from the stars..." the ponies seemed to decide that staying on the beach for the night was preferable... "As long as we use the canopy to hide us from the stars, I will allow it..." he turned, heading towards the forest. "In the mean time, I must search for the supplies I need for the brews... leaving a leg shattered or a bone broken overnight is not a healthy habit to get into..." he said, trotting into the woods, unsure if any would follow.

Flame did his best to keep himself from laughing. "Seriously, the stars will curse you...this is some grade a bull crap" Flame thought to himself as he listened to Nassir. He waited till Nassir was out of earshot. "That guy is making me think he's a nutcase" He said. "Nightmare Moon got out on her own and plus wouldn't that count that we are always under a star since the sun is also a star" Flame said

Fireleaf had heard the Zebra talk of ancient unproven zebra lore before, but now he was forcing his beliefs up on these other ponies, and he couldn't let him just do that without putting him in his place. He stopped bashing against the crate for a while and turned around to look at him.

"Your intentions are just, but your mind is fogged. The ancient zebra tales have always been taught. The truth of it, however, is far to be searched. From my travels across the world I have let my ears perked. There is far more to know than just our ancient ways, the knowledge of long ago is not of these days. You must let go of these old traditions, as they never were true, and are only illusions."

Fireleaf didn't like preaching others like this, and preferred not to bother anyone at all, but he couldn't just let this nutcase spread his unproven beliefs like truths. They would only cause fear in the hearts of their companions.

Fireleaf decided that what these other ponies were doing was wiser than immediately breaking open the crate. He therefore pushed the giant crate further inland so that it rested near the other crates. He did this seemingly without any trouble.

"I agree that we travel to the clearing in the light of morning sun, but it seems that you have forgotten that that time has already begun. The sun has just rose and the day is still grand. It would be better if we bring at least some of the crates further inland."

The rising sun on the horizon would hopefully give these ponies the strength to bring at least some of the crates to the clearing that they spoke of.

Streamsung Swann: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/streamsung-swann-r5689 (she's supposed to be a unicorn, so just imagine that he horn is there :3)

Already a while ago, Streamsung had been awake. She had sneaked out of the back of the raft, and had gone deeper into the water instead of onto shore. The water helped her process what had just happened. Terrible catastophy, perhaps some ponies had even died! She was crying softly, but the waves soothed her sorrow. Water had always helped her, in any situation. That is why she felt so betrayed now. She had always dreamed of the ocean being a wonderful thing, and now that she had first had a chance to see it, she had taken the cruise immediately. Apparantly salt water wasn't as great as fresh water...

She had been sitting in the water for a while now, and the tip of her braid was starting to get wet. She decided it would be better if she got herself together and got ashore... at the same time she felt like laying in the water some more. It felt so natural to her that it was hard to let go. She tried to stop crying as well, but with how much of an emotional shipwreck she was, it was really hard. She felt ashamed. The other ponies, who she had not been paying much attention to in the last few minutes, apparantly had no trouble dealing with what had happened. Was she really such a wuss?

She eventually managed to stand up and step ashore. She looked around to see what all these ponies, and apparently two stallion zebra's, were doing. She didn't think she would be of much help, as she didn't see anyone injured on the first glimpse. Her healing capabilities would come to use once they would have to hunt, or something similiar. She didn't know anything about survival in nature, so she'd have to trust her life in the ones who did.

"Um... uh." She tried to speak up, but it was hard for her to find the courage to talk to all of these ponies at the same time. "Guys? Can I help... maybe?" She said. She really wanted to help, but she was very average with magic, and she definately didn't have any muscle. She felt so lost that she almost started to cry again, but she didn't want to make a fool out of herself so she tucked her emotions deep in her mind, though it was very hard for her to do that.

Nassir blinked as the brown-green Zebra spoke to him, looking him over. As he spoke, he felt absolute disgust at the Zebra. Turning his back on the old ways... he could not blame the Ponies, they did not know better, but this Zebra did and chose to accept a false view. "You lie. The stars attacked our people long ago. Many of us suffered and died and we managed to learn from that. If we acted like you, the stars would attack again, and bring death upon of 10 fold to what they did before..." he said, recalling the ancient city reduced to rubble. He had seen the rubble himself. "Do not speak of illusions when I have stepped upon a mass grave of our people." He said, glaring at him before turning to head into the tree line. He had no time to waste listening to a Zebra that had lost his way. He knew the old ways to be true... he'd seen the rubble and, having spoken to a purple pony back in Ponyville about the legend of Nightmare Moon, knew that it was true, even in pony culture, that the stars had aided in the Princess of the Night's escape. He almost pitied the guard... he had brews to make, and would not be distracted by such a fool.  He was lucky they were not in the homeland... a just punishment would have been given for such heresy being spoken.

@Comet Starflash,

Bella tries to assure Comet that curiosity outweighs risk "Don't you want to see inside?" Bella had been in similar forests and jungles, but this was the densest one she had layed her tired eyes upon. As a herbalist, the fragile figure is compelled to search the deep musk for useful ingredients, both with magical and non magical properties...

The forest peripheral showed only signs of plant life, with the exception of a small bird cawing in the distance. The perspiring trees suggested that the forest would keep its damp heat for a few hours (after the last waning of the sun). Nightfall was enclosing upon them.

@,

( OOC: I go away for the night and I return to all these posts!)

Talking to another pony probably wasn't a smart idea given her previous stupid idea of screaming until the Timberwolves came home. But this mare, was acting in a way similar to Honey Jars herself. All quiet, on the edge of the group. Maybe this mare had the same problems as Honey Jars, maybe this was somepony she could relate to! Or, this was a huge waste of time that would only lead in one of them getting even more in a panic. Probably herself. Slowly, very slowly, very slowly, Honey Jars approached the mare. She was wearing some weird harness of sorts that held a bunch of bottles> But that was irrelevant.

"Umm, hey. Your'e uhh, looking a bit lonely here, So I came over to... You know. To say hi?"

This was already going poorly.

Bubble Burst!

@@TheLineTrotter,

Bubble wasnt having any of it!

The rude pony with the funny stripes was walking away - she might have not been very offended when he had shouted at her, but she had only been trying to help - who put him in charade anyway? The least he could do was apologise!

The bubbly mare found herself following after him with a stubborn zeal. Rather than demanding an apology however, she simply watched as he decided to have another argument with another funny stripe pony.

"You're not going to make many friends like that!" She chirped brightly.

"Why are you so mean? It's not nice you know? Trying to scare ponies like that, and shouting at them when they are trying to help, and being rude, and..."

She continued to list the same few shortcomings that she had observed in several different ways for several long moments.

---------------

Cinderblock.

Cinder watched on - having followed Bubble to make sure she didn't wander off alone. It seemed like she'd been the first of the sisters to jump into the whole 'socialising' thing yet again... still, at least she hadn't gone and gotten herself lost.

The dusty inventor shook her head slightly, smiling as she stepped forward - determined to follow suit and find something to do that was actually useful. That shouldn't be too hard - aside from the sheer number of ponies there were here.

"Uhm... does anyone need any help?" She asked from the fringes of the gathering of ponies - raising a hoof as it to move, but staying in place. Why couldn't there be a few less of them? It would be easy then!

@,

"Oh!"

She hadn't actually expected anyone to answer her - let alone a pony she hadn't even noticed.

"Oh... uhm, hey!"

'Okay Cinder, good start!'

"I mean, thanks! I'd be okay but... you know... " She gestured towards the group - specifically its size, and shrugged. "I'm Cinder!"

Fireleaf had expected a reaction like this, but he had reached his goal. None of the other ponies would believe a thing he said. The zebra community had weaved their traditions in with lies and false proof. He, for instance, knew that the city that had been destroyed had nothing to do with the stars being some sentient evil lifeform. It was merely an accident, an act of natures wildness. And of nature, he knew nearly everything.

"We shall no longer speak from now on, I propose. Your beliefs, threats and disrespect leave me no choice I suppose. Say what you want, and hang on to false traditions. I am here to accept your apology when the truth shows your beliefs are mere illusions."

He turned away fromt he other zebra as well. He had enough knowledge to dislocate any argument this deluded zebra may have, but he didn't feel like arguing over things so petty. Instead he turned to a few ponies who weren't busy.

@@@@Gloomfury

"The three of you. Please, help me set this into motion. We have been doing nothing due to all of the commotion. We need to push these crates to the forest, and after the four of us have done that we can make shelter and rest. Unless of course you have more important things to do... Thoug I suggest you help me pull this through. I suggest we push these four large crates, filled with food and supplies. They should provide shelter once empty, I think they will suffice."

He turned to the pony who had told them about the place.

@

"Young mare, please, tell me where I can find the clearing. Then quickly try to get your hooves checked you poor thing... Perhaps one of the unicorns has a healing spe..."

"I do!" Streamsung yelled. She had heard the conversation and followed it. Once she understood that she could be of use to somepony, she had quickly ran forward and towards the group. "I can help! Who's injured?"

Fireleaf sighed because of this interruption. He continued: "Directions, if you please, and then I believe that this mare will treat your hooves." He said.

@,

Nope, things were not going well! not well at all!

Honey was already paranoid before the small talk had started up. She felt like she was about to explode into a million tiny butterflies. Exploding wasn't something she wanted to do.

"Yeah. My name is Honey, Honey Jars. I like bees. I like bees a lot..." Honey didn't really know what to say. "So uhh, how was the trip?" Honey Jars soon connected her hoof with her face after that question. "No wait! I mean um, how are you feeling? Yeah, yeah! I meant that."

Cinder cocked her head to one side curiously. One-on-one she was more than happy to chat - though this mare seemed a little... odd.

'Thats not fair, she's probably just scared or something!'

"Thats... great!" She noted somewhat awkwardly. "I like bees too I guess. They're very... buzzy?"

'You don't know anything about bees!'

"Uhm, its nice to meet you Honey! I mean, apart from the whole 'boat sinking and leaving us stranded on an island' thing... but hey, nothing we can do about that now is there?"

Nassir heard the other zebra speak yet again, but chose this time to not talk back to him. He could state his beliefs on the Zebra cultue as much as he wish. It did not affect Nassir. He simply hoped that the other Zebra's false ideals would not cause these ponies undo harm. He imgined the brown Zebra meant well, making it tragic to him. He had only just begun to walk along the trees when he suddenly heard another voice, glancing to see it was the bubblegum maned mare from earlier. It seemed yet another was there to yell at him. Glorious. He remained quiet, allowing her to list the same things, in slightly differant variations. He blinked as he spotted one of the plants he needed, crouching over it a moment and ensureing it was the correct one, before plucking it with his teeth. He plucked a few more of the same flower, before speaking to the mare. "If you are referring to the boxes, than I apologize. I simply wanted to move them up on the beach and failed to see how kicking them helped...." He said as he trotted along. "As for the scaring... It is not scaring ponies to warn them of dangers. You would not scold me for warning them to not shove thier hooves in flames, or to avoid a dangerous cliff..." he spoke simply, glancing back at the mare.
