There're more episodes from the seasons 1&2 (52 episodes) than from season 4 (20 currently) where Rarity shines.

I personally consider season 3 as a transition era where they are equals.

 

I voted Twilight because overall, I prefer her to Rarity.

But if Rarity continues to be that great during season 4 and 5, I'd prefer her to Twilight.

Hate to break it to you, but I didn't ask a single thing about Rarity

 

I asked about Twilight only. How has she been post- season 2?

 

That's including season 3. S1 and S2 have 52 episodes, yes, but S3 and S4 currently have 33.

 

How has she been in those 33 episodes? 

 

Transition era or not, those are still 13 episodes you can't just leave unaccounted for.

This one's actually nail-biting. I honestly think Rarity is going to take this one, but it's nice to see Twilight being the one to give Rarity a run.

 

With matchups that I don't have a stake in (Luna, Big Mac, the Doctor, etc.), I usually wait awhile to see who's doing well, and vote the underdog. Mainly because I have this odd bit of insanity where I want the non-winner to...

Unless of course the underdog is somepony like Diamond Tiara, in which case they don't need to feel like they're doing well at all.

Day 12 in Review:

 

Unsurprisingly, Twilight and Rarity cleaned up their competition nicely, setting up quite an exciting match up between the two in the Elite Eight.  Can't wait to see the Mane 6's magic users go head-to-head in a couple days!

Day 13 Comments

 

After two years of heartbreak, it looks like good ol' Fluttershy's on her way to the Final Four at long, long last.  It's about dang time too, and I'm real happy for the Flutter Corps.  Too bad for AB, but she's got nothing to be ashamed of; after all, she was the only CMC to make it to the Elite Eight after taking down Discord himself!  Congrats on a heck of a run lil' filly.
