He not only enslaved a kingdom but he thoroughly pulled off the "evil dictator" look. I believed he was a bad ass villain. Which is more than I can and will say about some other villains. JonasDarkmane 19,788 March 18, 2015 Share March 18, 2015 He is my favorite. I consider him the most dangerous villain the Mane 6 have ever faced. He managed to enslave an entire race and take over an Empire. He was clearly really powerful especially in dark magic. He was smart as well, setting down traps. He did not have the same kind of traps. The only way to get to the stairs leading down was by using dark magic, however, to get through the door you had to use good magic (in case someone who knew dark magic would get through his secret entrance). To me that shows high level of intelligence. Cadance (who is an alicorn) had to keep up a constant shield to be able to protect the Empire, otherwise (I presume) Sombra would have steamrolled everypony. I consider him also the most evil, he clearly seemed to enjoy torture other ponies minds (he was pretty much burned within every crystal ponies mind, having pretty much scarred them for life). He seemed also to having enslaved the crystal ponies for amusement. If that is not evil, than I don't know what is He was so dangerous that he had to be killed (the only one to be killed except for a beehive that was destroyed by Tirek :comeatus: ). I find it kinda unfair how little he talked in the TV show, he had such potential. I've enjoyed reading the comics where he has made appearance (in flashbacks about the past). Though I will say that I personally believe his lack of speaking lines in the series actually a benefit to him. A villain who talks too much can sometimes be seen as a little too arrogant.
