Allen shook his head, returned by a frown from Noi then stopped flapping and then clung to his back sadly like it had before. "No, it's alright. Your Glaceon can handle it. Noi needs to practice her restraint," he attempted to explain, seemingly phased behind his friendly expression. "It will help her in the long run." The admiration for Jason's Lumi was great in the eyes of Allen, almost having the idea of battling with Jason if he didn't recognize the words at which he had just said. Noi was quadruply weak to ice compared to normal dragons...and Glaceon was ice type. The match would be over before the first move was thrown. Noibat didn't need to know that kind of defeat with her courage and heart as big as it was. "...noi..." she mumbled sadly as she continued holding onto his back. Allen then tried to comfort her by reaching back and rubbing her head softly. "You'll have your chance Noi. Don't worry. There are a lot of pokemon out there," he said encouragingly before redirecting his attention to the battle.

Surprising enough, the coldness generated didn't hardly phase Allen but he did give a small shiver as he eagerly awaited how the Sentret would be effected by the strong ice attack given by Lumi.

Jason turned to Noi. "Hey don't worry, I'm sure you will be the hero of the next battle." He said in a comforting tone to the saddened Noibat. Jason ran through his pack and pulled out Lumi's remaining berries he had with him and offered them to Noi in an attempt to comfort her. "You'll be really strong, don't worry." He added before looking back towards Lumi.

Allen smiled at Jason's kindness to Noi, being that he was one of the first ones who didn't poke fun at her for being a weak dragon pokemon. Of course, all that is because they never really left Blackthorn. The Noibat looked over to Jason with shyly sad eyes before sniffing the berries. Very slowly, she then carefully took a few before smiling and chittering slightly as she watched Jason.

Muna watched adoringly as the Wurmple selected a poffin from the case and began to nibble away at it.  "How can you not think Wurmple's cute?"  He spoke to Sable, not taking his eyes away from the bug Pokemon in his arms.  "As long as they're not scary, slimy or smelly, I like most Pokemon."  Suddenly he gasped, eyes sparkling with admiration.  "Oh my gosh, Audino!  Wurmple chose a pink poffin!"  He exclaimed, completely unaware that the Wurmple probably just chose one at random.  "That must mean that this very specific Wurmple is the epitome of all Wurmples!"  Muna's eyes widened as his imagination ran wild, continuing to build upon his fantasy surrounding the Wurmple he was cradling.  "Ooh!!  Then this Wurmple will probably turn into the most fabulous Pokemon ever!  I just HAVE to see that!"  He looked to Audino in earnest.  "Do you think we should bring Wurmple with us on our journey?"

Audino nodded enthusiastically, already fond of the little worm herself.  "Aud, Aud!"

Smiling from Audino's affirmation, Muna returned his gaze to Wurmple.  "So, Wurmple..."  Muna pulled out a spare Poke Ball from his satchel and held it above the bug Pokemon so that it was within reach.  "Won't you come with us, please?"

"There's still no excuse for treating a Pokemon that way." Cilla responded angry as ever. As Helioptile growled at Cilla Espeon growled back, warning the little electric type to back off. "If we weren't in a dark cave surrounded by Zubats why I...I...I don't know what I'd do." With a sigh Cilla looked down at Espeon. "Come on girl, lets just try to get out of here. Otherwise we'll never make it to Violet City." As Cilla started to walk past Stella she noticed some Pokemon playing in a nearby pool of water. Upon closer inspection she could see that some of the Pokemon included were Azurill and Marill. Cilla instantly shrieked in joy. "Oh I've always wanted a little Marill especially now that been assigned a new typing." Cilla said overjoyed. "I know it's rather dark in here Espeon but do you think you could help me catch it?" with a nod Espeon jumped in front of Stella awaiting her first order. "Let's not make this harder then it has to be. Go for a Swift, Espeon." The Pokemon then shot a barrage of stars straight at Marill just as Cilla told her to.

Stella had tuned out somewhat, ignoring mostly everything the girl had to say. She was carefully thinking out the logistics of her team. What was it Magikarp evolved into? Oh bother. She didn't remember. It was probably something just as pathetic as the pokemon itself. Or, maybe it wasn't and Helioptile was onto something. Speaking of which, she wanted to go didn't she? Probably for the best.

As the two were about to head off, Stella was brought back to reality by a squeal. Oh Arceus. She suddenly had remembered who this girl was. This was the girl who had stopped her battle with that one trainer with the Zorua. She was a trainer who was overly protective of pokemon. Almost to a scary degree. She reminded Stella of those people in Unova. What were they called? Plasma, or something? Whatever. What the girl did next, however, certainly spiked Stella's interest. Not in a good way, of course.

This girl was trying to capture the pokemon Stella had wanted. However, she was seemingly fighting it to catch it. "How hypocritical..." Stella began, forgetting the other trainer was in hearing distance of her. "You would capture a pokemon against their will? Battling them, only to weaken them so they may join your team despite whatever they may want best? If one really cares for pokemon, they would leave them to their own wishes." Stella had never once caught a pokemon without befriending it first. Even a pokemon to the likes of Hydreigon would not be caught unless it wished to be caught by her. This trainer wasn't very bright was she. "I can't stand hypocrites. Helioptile, let's go."

With that, the two set out deeper in the cave, dodging the occasional Zubat.

At the Icy Wind, Sentret responded by curling up in a Defense Curl.  The wind blew it back rolling into the grass, and once it disappeared into the tall grass it didn't reappear.  A little bit of shaking of the grass would likely suggest it was running to try and catch up with the other Sentret that had left before, content that it had held off the potential danger long enough.

-----Dark Cave (North / Route 45 Entrance)-----

Going around the underground pond, a very narrow trail following the bank of the water and the wall of the cave leads to an entrance going into an entirely new section of the cave. To the right side of this new area was an even larger underwater pond, though judging by the Goldeen and Magikarp swimming in it, it seemed likely attached to the smaller one underwater.  A few small lights can also be seen glowing under the surface.

Of course, more Zubat were flying near the ceiling here.  Along the left side was a climbing slope, suggesting that by going that way one would be going further up the mountain trail.  A number of large boulders were scattered along this trail, while none of them were actually blocking the path completely, it looks like it will be a winding climb around them.  Because of the boulders blocking sight of the full trail, the sounds of an unseen battle can be heard from somewhere up the trail.

Somewhere in the very back of the cave, a loud rumbling can be heard.  Judging based off of the sound of it, it would suggest something very large was within the back of the cave.

To the north is a hole in the wall of the cave large enough to walk through - the entrance to Route 45.

Lumi watched as the Sentret rolled away, being carried by the gust of icy wind. The Glaceon let out a sigh of relief as the snowstorm around her quickly died down. Lumi stood where she was for a moment. The grass lay frozen and shattered around her leaving a clear path ahead. She turned towards Jason and walked towards him with a victorious look. Lumi kept the ice in the immediate area around her frozen as she walked. The cooling temperature was greatly welcomed in this currently hot (For her) environment.

Jason turned to Allen. "Looks like the Sentret ran off. I guess we should continue forward." As Lumi walked up next to him, Jason crouched down and gave the Glaceon a quick hug and pet to the head. "Good job Lumi. You did great. The Sentret never stood a chance." He complemented his Pokemon. "Glaci!" Lumi responded with a happy smile.

Jason stood up and admired the frozen terrain around him. Though the ice had already begun to melt the beauty of a field of ice and snow amongst the lush grassland put a smile on his face. @Flareon,    As the food was offered to both of them their little fight quickly came to a stop as both Pokemon started to eat.  Unfortunately, Tympole had a much larger mouth than Poliwag's tiny one, and it finished its share of the food much sooner.  The little Tympole starts trying to move over to Cass' other hand to get some of the food Poliwag was eating, which the Poliwag didn't like one bit.  It quickly smacked the Tympole with Double Slap as it tried to take some of its share of the food, and the Tympole responds in kind by puffing up its cheeks and using Round.  It seems their fight from before was starting to get more heated.

Cass rolled her eyes, starting to lose her patience. With a jerk of her head, Floette floated to Cass's shoulder from where it had been floating nearby. She murmured to it, and it nodded. It pointed its flower at the arguing duo. The flower began to glow, and Floette started shooting a powerful Magical Leaf attack around the pair, as if chiding them for misbehaving and warning them to mind their manners.

“Aud!”  Audino agreed, nodding her head sharply.  She was prepared to do what Audinos do best in battle: support.

Pressing the button on Wurmple’s Poke ball to open it, Muna watched as the white energy flew out and materialized into his newest partner.  He squatted down briefly to pick Wurmple up, and then placed him on his shoulder.  “You make sure to watch the battle, ‘kay Wurmple?  It’s gonna be a good learning experience.”  Muna then scratched under Wurmple’s chin affectionately.

Letting out a small sigh under her breath, she said to no one in particular, "ooh... why am I wasting my time here?!" she pouted, "I was so excited to start traveling, but I just get so nervous at the thought of battling!" She leaned backwards and laid down, looking at the sky. Her clefairy, Isabella, was out of her pokeball, and strutting her stuff along the shoreline.

She smiled widely when she spotted something, an orange shelled pokemon she was not familiar with, resting upon a rock. "Wow, that one looks tough!" She stood up and beckoned for Isabella.

The clefairy came to her trainer, and Abigail bent down, whispering conspiratorially into her ear. "You see that pokemon over there, resting on the rock?" Isabella nodded her head, and uttered a nonchalant "-ry." "I think it could really help us!" Isabella was evidently not impressed, questioning "Clefairy?" "No, I don't mean to imply that your not good enough, Isabella! But it wouldn't hurt to have another friend, right?" A look of contemplation splayed across the clefairy's features, as it considered the situation. It liked being Abigail's only pokemon, but her trainer seemed convinced that it was a good idea. "-ry." Isabella flatly responded, attempting to cross her arms, but failing and instead placed them on her hip. She was willing to go along with it, but she didn't have to like it. "Thanks, Isabella!" Abigail responded, content with her pokemon's answer.

She turned forward towards the bay, and dramatically pointed one finger towards the krabby, "alright, initiating combat! Ma'dame Isabella De'Pompadour, alias Isabella, commence with operation Catch Cute Crab-thingy! Use sing!" The clefairy stepped forward, and started to sing a simple lullaby to the krabby.
