The WWE is one of the most famous wrestling businesses in the world and it contains some of the best wrestlers that people have seen when they were younger. The Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC) was founded in early 1952 by Roderick James "Jess" McMahon and soon led its way onto major matches after being named the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) in 1963. With the death of Roderick McMahon, his son Vincent James McMahon was put in charge of the business with Joseph Raymond "Toots" Mondt making the business more successful. In 1979 the World Wide Wrestling Federation shortened its name to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which was the starting point of its life in the history books, it was also during this time when Monday Night Raw was created. During this time period Vince's son Vincent K. McMahon bought his company, the Capitol Sports, and we saw the debut of famous wrestlers such as Kevin Nash, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, and much more. In 1999 the company again changed its name, this time it was changed to World Wresting Federation Entertainment (WWFE), this was during the beginning of Friday Night Smackdown. In 2002 the company shortened its name to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), this time period, which is still continuing to this day, has seen the debut of many wrestlers such as John Cena, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Batista, Daniel Bryan, and others.

Over the years many great wrestlers have come and gone and here is where you can put your favorite wrestlers from the WWF/WWE and before it was named the WW(F/E). Wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Owen and Bret "Hitman" Hart are from the WWWF era of its lifetime.

The Undertaker, ever since I saw him on TV back in 1992. Same with Bret Hart.

When I picked it back up in 1999, Stone Cold, Ken Shamrock, and Steve Blackman were added to that list.

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have been my favorites ever since I started watching WWF/WWE, and they usually put on the best matches

I don't watch WWE anymore because in my opinion it's not about the wrestling anymore, but my favorite wrestler would of have to of been Sabu, that guy's extreme, I mean come on! His enterance title is "Suicidal, homicidal, genocidal, death defying sabu, this guy made high flying sadistic and then took it a little further

Undertaker. He's done a lot more, and bled a lot more for this business than anyone else on the planet (except maybe Mick Foley)

I used to watch wrestling way back, but I don't watch it now. I started watching it cuz my brothers had it on all the time. XD My fave wrestlers back then were Bret Hart and the Undertaker. My brothers' faves were the Ultimate Warrior and Rick Flair. One of the best matches ever was when Bret Hart fought Rick Flair and beat him. XD

I doubt anyone has bled as much as Mick...hell, he's lost teeth and parts of his face :P

I am suprised that he is even alive to this day....I mean he was slammed off of that steel cage by the Undertaker. He even got back up and started to wrestle, and that wasn't even supposed to happen.

Well Mick is a great wrestler, he is on my top 10 list.

Look at my member title and take a wild guess. ;)Yes, I am a female and I like wrestling. :|

My favorite has pretty much always been The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Simply put, no one can put on a show like he can, especially in big matches, hence his other famous moniker, The Showstopper. Anytime I see a match involving HBK, I can't help but watch in awe. There's almost nothing he can't do in the ring, and he has made many less than stellar performers (Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan for example) look amazing simply because he is good enough to bring out the best in anyone. His match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 is among the greatest wrestling matches in history, and is probably my personal favorite. :)

Aside from his wrestling talent, he's always been a very charismatic star. He's great as both a babyface and a heel and has had many memorable promos and feuds as both. One of my favorites happened in 2005 when he was cutting a promo in Montreal. I don't think I have ever seen any superstar garner as much heat as Shawn did, but that goes without saying since Canada usually gives him a bad reception due to screwjob involving Bret Hart.

And honestly, although I am fully aware of his sketchy past involving drug problems and backstage issues, I think it's fascinating to know how much he has changed over the years. His storied career as a performer combined with his growth as a human being really fascinates me. You can tell he's a much better person now than he was back in the 90's. And finally, there's the little things that I like about him. He's a Texan, he was pretty easy on the eyes back in the day, I love his "Sexy Boy" theme that he used faithfully from1993 until his retirement, and his finisher, Sweet Chin Music, is one of my favorite moves.

That's because Mrs. Folley's baby boy, is a damn beast! Alot of the stuff he's done, no one would want to even attempt anymore lol. Then again, even back then no one wanted to either.

Me and my dad used to watch WWE a lot when he was still around :D

A lot of it, I was too young to remember, considering this was 7 years or so back and I pretty much stopped watching it when he left I'm really trying hard not to word this as a pity-type thing.

We'd always cheer on the same dude, though, I remember, no matter what he did or who he was facing:

My dad was a HUGE Edgehead, and I pretty much just cheered on Edge because my dad liked him so much :D

We'd order every single PPV with Edge having a match in it, even if money was an issue; hell, my dad dropped $300 bucks on a replica belt with the "Rated-R Superstar" spinner plate in it once :D

You know, come to think of it, my dad was pretty much with Edge like I am with Rarity, minus the crush part :P

So, that makes Edge my favorite WWE Superstar of all time :D

Edge was a great wrestler, too bad he retired. I liked him very much. Though when I was younger I always got him and Triple H mixed up, I do not see how that is now....but now I know the difference.
