How would a lunar eclipse affect Luna?

So there's a lunar eclipse tonight and I wondered how an eclipse would affect Luna. How do you think a lunar eclipse affects Luna? Does it make her weaker? Does it have nothing to do with her? Would Celestia have something to do with it? Tell me what you think! Thanks for reading this thread and replying to it

I think Luna totally controls the night sky. So any lunar eclipses that occur are of her design.

Well it is basically the sun and Earth making the moon go red. So nothing much.

 

But if we get into deeper thinking, the moon could affect her mood or powers possibly.

 

1: Mood shift. The cause of a lunar eclipse could alter her personality in a drastic way. Maybe she is more hyper or more depressed and moping around.

 

If we take "blood moon," in a literal sense. It could be that Princess Luna may grow sadistic? Though that is hypothetical.

 

2: Power shift.

 

The lunar eclipse could weaken or strengthen Princess Luna's powers. It could be her peak of power or where her powers are weaken to a point not even worth mentioning.

 

It could also be both mood and power. She could be strong and sadistic during lunar eclipse, etc. it would be very interesting to note and read about if I could.

 

3: Physical

 

The eclipse could make her change in a physical way. She could look more mature or even more younger. Though that is hypothetical.

Maybe the sisters decide to occasionally plan eclipses to mark important events and or be cute then. Or this is a cartoon world and stuff doesn't work the way it does on Earth.

I think the MLP equivalent to a solar eclipse would involve Celestia planting her big fat 'lestia butt on her sisters face, thus smothering her (and the moon) in the process. Could hypothetically work in reverse as a lunar eclipse.

 

Also, i know one of you smug nerds are gonna be like "HURR DUR THATS NOT HOW ECLIPSES WORK."
