Would you rather win $10,000, or spend the weekend with your best pony?

I think I'd rather win the money, as surprised as I am to say that. It'd feel too weird if Fluttershy looked like a real-life pony, and I'd honestly feel disconcerted listening to her or giving her hugs and so on... even though I don't really know what I'd do with $10,000 and I don't care too much about money, I'm sure it would come to better use than an uncomfortable weekend like that would be.

Without the catch, though, I'd love to have Fluttershy with me instead.

$10,000?

Yeah, I would take the money. As much as hanging out with my favorite pony would be a dream come true, regardless on realistic look or not, the money could help so many things in the long run. If I spent it wisely it could make things more sustainable in my life and for those in my family.

So many are so very shallow.  Why would the form make that much of a difference?  If anything, it would be much safer for the MLP pony if they were in the form of a normal pony for their visit here.  It wouldn't change what you could talk about.

Hmm... $10,000 seems a bit on the low side in exchange for an opportunity that shouldn't be possible. :P

Yeah, I'll take a weekend with Twilight over 10k any day.

Heck, I'd spend the weekend with Luna or Shy or Pinkie etc, even if they were in the form of a giant spider for the weekend -- so long as they could talk.

I'm just... blown away. I noticed this topic and thought for sure everypony would take their fave character over the money, even if they don't look like a Flash cartoon character.

Even just being able to ask them questions about Equestria to confirm or deny various headcannons would be worth the 10K IMO!

Hmm, even with the catch I would still go with the pony. Twilight would still be Twilight after all. I wonder what sort of horse she'd appear as, but that's something for another thread!

I'll take the money thank you very much! It would just be wierd if I seen Rarity, Luna, or Twilight as a REAL pony.

I can't buy a weekend with my favorite pony (even if it's an actual realife looking pony) for $10,000, and there is a higher chance that I will make $10,000 eventually then meeting my favorite pony, so I'm going with the pony.

Hum... I hope nobody minds if I answer this slightly old topic, but I think there’s a choice to be made here: 10  000 dollars or an weekend with Princess Celestia? Some paper with weird value assigned by humans or two days with the almighty ruler of a magical land that transcends the nature of our universe? Something that I could be able to get by myself or the chance to know everything about Equestrian History directly from someone that has lived there for millennia? Some way to pay college when I could go to a public one (which, here, are of great quality and much better than the private ones) or spend an weekend with one of the most awesome individuals I’ve ever heard of? Geez, I think there’s a choice to be made here!!!

Sorry, but, maybe because I'm pretty much just a middle-class kid, I came in here so sure that no one would choose the money over such an unique chance, that I am just astonished. I understand that money is important, useful and even vital, but... it’s the magical pony you love that is not fictional anymore and can talk! Is it just because of the new look? Well, in my case, even though Celestia doesn’t get much time in the show, the way she looks is the thing I least admire about her; I couldn’t care less about her looks, specially if I get to talk to her, have her teach me the secrets of Equestria and hug her. Well, maybe I'm just too childish to perceive magical talking ponies as less important than actual money.

I would choose to spend the weekend with Madame Octavia(That's just what I call her :3)

(Then we'd rob a bank and make WAY more than 10K)

I'll take the money. It would be strange sitting on my sofa with a white unicorn with a purple mane was sitting beside me and look like a normal horse. When my friends come over, they're most likely gonna faint when they see a unicorn.

You're so tired trying to rewind the mess you've made of your own mind

(Woah) But the pieces won't pick up themselves, you know
