Is the New villain Lavan?

Apparently from what they are saying. The new villain will be like Elsa from Frozen. And that there will be a Godfather reference. I wonder if it's Celestia saying ''I Am afraid i can't let you do that Twilight''. ''Make an offer he can't refuse?'' Does anyone know famous godfather quotes? And is the villain Lavan from G1, one of the girlish generations ever? Because as it said. The villain will be an ice villain from Tartarus. And Discord instead of Twilight will try to track him down. Is Lavan a mafia boss? So the entire of Equestria will be like Elsa's in Frozen?

Could someone edit the title to say spoiler alert?

Is anyone listening? I may have to edit to say spoiler alert or delete this.

My friend, you know by now, it wasn't.

But also, the very first Generation of MLP wasn't girlish, it was far more mature and dark than the other generations, especially G4.

Old Tirek almost beheaded Spike.

Grogar wanted to lock all ponies into a dimension where they would never escape.

Arabus sucked all the magic and shadows from the ponies almost killing them, leaving them weak and very skinny.

Lavan almost threw some ponies into a volcano.

You dare tell the older generations are girlish when the best you have is a childish goat-headed prankster who mostly does nothing?

Watch Return of Harmony because you're factually wrong about Discord. He's a much darker and more dangerous villain than you claim he is.

The biggest thing Discord has over the others is how he uses his hilarious personality to play mind games with the Mane Six. There's no actual punches being thrown from him because he's above the violence. Each way the Mane Six went, he was one step ahead of them and aimed at their weakest points.

  1. Applejack really cares for her friends, so when Discord tells her the poisonous "truth" that they actually don't like her and want nothing to do with her, it hurts. Considering the element she bares, it hurts even more. Hence Liarjack.
  2. Pinkie's biggest part of who she is to make others happy. She loves making others laugh. So when she's laughed at, it corrupts her into Grumpy Pie.
  3. Rarity always has a lust for shiny things and has a tendency to be vain and greedy for the spotlight. Then Discord presents her with the idea of a once-in-a-lifetime gem so bright that she can't ignore it, her lust overcomes her, and she hoards Tom.
  4. Fluttershy is the antithesis of all the cases. No matter what tricks Discord used, she wasn't fooled. In fact, she used some of her tricks to countertroll Discord, agitating him to the point of Discording her himself. The purpose for this is to present the concept of Fluttershy being incorruptible, a concept revived for Keep Calm and Flutter On.
  5. Rainbow Dash loves Cloudesdale and lived there for plenty of time. It was also where she performed the Sonic Rainboom twice, once as a filly, the other to save Rarity's and the Wonderbolts' lives. The majority of the pegasi live there. So when Discord warns her of (the illusion of) Cloudesdale collapsing, she had one choice: retreat to save Cloudesdale.
  6. Twilight Sparkle: The most complicated. She was the only pony not corrupted in the puzzle because her biggest goal was to find the others, return Equestria to normal, and defeat Discord. To have her Discorded friend constantly belittle her made her angry and impatient. So when the Discorded ReMane-ing Four lacked care, it was the final straw. Thanks to Dash not being there, Discord couldn't be defeated.

Like what I wrote in my review for that episode, he wasn't evil for the sake of being evil. He may not be as imposing as FIM!Tirek, but he manipulates others through his stealth and comedic ambition. His darker actions complement with his hilarity, and he has no set goal. He can create chaos however he wants whenever he wants. So what if he's bored? One snap alters the landscape and makes the chaos unique once more. It's such a great form of black comedy.

To quote my review of Discord for that episode:

Huh. I applaud your effort to trying to defend that Q rip-off.

Discord never ment to be evil. He was just a prankster, someone who could spread chaos any time he wanted, but overestimated the heroes and lost in the most pathetic way possible.

Corrupting, breaking down psychollogically your enemies, make them suffer to the fullest, making someone what you truly aren't.

Yeah. I have seen that done, millions of times. By much darker and much better written villains.

You're over-analysing it. He has no depth, he has not a true sign that he's his own character, just a generic clichéd villain with a simple motivation. He's given the power he needs and by his personality, could have used it at any time.

I could just not take seriously a chimera so strange, weird and bizarre, that was ment to be laughable since the beginning, not a threat or a threatening villain, just a mere obstacle that could get past with ease. Sure, he was difficult, but once they all turned back again, Discord proved that he failed, and that sooner or later this would have happened, because he was supposed to fail.

The other villains from G1 ment what pure evil could manifest into, while Discord had relation with Chaos, he had nothing to do with it. Just the typical reality-warper that annoys certain character because he's bored and wants things his own way.

Excuse me. But this is an old thread, you have bumped it. I know now that the villain is Tirek. Problem was back in May no one would respond. So if you would please lock this thread thank you.

As this thread's purpose has already been fulfilled, since it was revealed that Tirek was the S4 finale villan as opposed to Lavan, I'll go ahead and lock this up

In the future, it would be much more effective to submit a report on a thread such as this or other offending content rather than making an inquiry through a post.  Reports are brought to the staff's attention immediately and can be dealt with more promptly as opposed to making a post, which can evade staff's attention quite easily.  Thank you and take care!
