I can't even describe how terrible this one that I read was. the most digusting thing I have or ever will read in my entire life. It was about little filly luna, and like 10 litttle 10-14 year old boys. It was put as humor, and romance, rated T. The things they did was so terrible I puked in the toilet and cried for woona. It was so badly written and had so many wierd fetish type things. I don't even want to describe any of the actions that happened to Luna. But I couldn't look away, I just couldn't. The horror of it just pulled me in, and I sat through half before I pulled away from it. Oh and the spelling and punctuation was complete crap like seriously.

I think i read that one too. Wasn't it where a pimp became the mayor? I remember Granny Smith offering her 'services' to a young stallion and I was like 'Oh hell no' and exited the story so damn fast Rainbow Dash would be pround. Not really seeing as I have a somewhat slow internet connection. But you get the picture.

Oh yeah now I remember. Twilight's bookstore became a porn shop, big mac and applejack wore the same outfit (Strangely enough) Rarity charged like what 1000 bits? But Fluttershy didn't have to go into the buisness like all the others. And the mayor moved in with her sister somewhere else. That's all I remember form the first couple chapters I believe.

I understand why people like MLD, but based on how highly it's rated I expected more. I understand that a large amount of fanfiction is self indulgent by nature, and that is fine. I won't judge that aspect. MLD has serious issues in narrative, use of dialog, rhythm, time sequencing, and the POV ... Dear Lord ... it did feel as if the author wanted to actually move to 2nd person at times. I swear he accidentally did a few tense changes and POV mistakes that he caught in revision but didn't adjust anything else in the supporting narrative. I suppose this may be the inherent issue with self insert fiction. The author did keep the mood and tone consistent, but the rising action and resolution ... meh. The emotions, like with some works involving a certain blind filly, were not organically generated. I prefer a scalpel to a sledgehammer.

 

No, MLD is not the worst fanfic I have read. If you are wondering why I even mentioned it when this is a thread about 'worst fic' ... if a fic is bad I'll stop very early on. This one I finished. It is the one that I was most disappointed with so it was appropriate to mention.

 

I don't read Gore themed fan fics. I get the old torture porn fix from the tried and true Walking Dead books.
