Why thank you! I try to be crafty... It's not pony related (technically) but I'm currently making a TARDIS for my wife this Christmas!

Crafting is so relaxing I find, i really enjoy making jewelry for Christmas and bday >_<

A small one for her desk at work... a little over 6" tall

Good luck on your tardis making.  Any specific doctor's tardis? 

 

There seemed to be many g1 ponies, I never could remember all of their names.

No specific Tardis in particular, just a basic one that gives me a bit of creative liberties on proportions etc...

Couldn't find a G1 Dr. Whooves, so here he is with Fizzy!

Didn't know there was a g1 Twilight.   I bet there is some g1 fan fiction around.  Perhaps some can try g1 rp in the Everfree Forest non g4 canon area eventually, if there is enough fanbase.

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are from G3

Fluttershy and Rarity, along with part of the other Mane 6 are inspired by bits of other ponies, Glory, Surprise, Posey, etc.

 

Also, a few background or secondary characters, like Cheerilee or Scootaloo are also from previous gens.

Actually, Fluttershy is from G3 too; she was in the toyline but not any of the movies and was inspired by Posey from G1 (even given her colour scheme) all of the Mane 6 were going to be recycled G1 names but Hasbro no longer owned the copyrights to some of the names...

I've heard that too many times but it doesn't sound like the truth to me. They're returning most chracters from previous gens without nothing stopping them. Also, who has the rights to the characters, then?

Some of the companies Hasbro partnered with to make the cartoons... As they do with DHX now; I know it is true as Ive heard it in interviews from Laurn Faust herself..:

Nice artwork.  That is quite a few g1 ponies.

Is not my work but thanks... It was just what I could find online of G1 ponies still in their G1 forms (most of it is them in G4 style; I'd love to see more retro art.. Even if it was just G4 ponies done in G1 style)
