Think it's about time I make this thread.

 

In this thread I shall be posting whatever graphic I make for the community/out of boredom. Everything in here is free for use (credit, though no necessary, is appreciated. Just don't claim that you made it) if you wish to.

 

This thread shall contain various Wallpapers/backgrounds, signatures, and possibly, avatars. I may also set-up some .xcf and .psd files for pre-made backgrounds that you may use to make your own signatures (credit is requested if you're going to use them though, but just for the background itself).

i am loving the rarity artwork, although all of it is totally kick-ass, i think i may have to use that rarity signature. definitely gonna make sure everybody knows about how awesome these signatures are, and who made the of course!

Wow, the Twilight Sparkle siggy is just amazing.

 

Im serious, I dont really know what to say they're awesome

 

I will probably use that TS siggy, I'll give credit too. I mean if thats ok with you, you may have said before it's allowed, but any change in that thought?

I may be altering that one to include text since it is the only one without her name somewhere on the signature. So you may want to keep an eye on that one ;P. And you may be waiting a while before everyone gets free sub status again X3.

I'll keep my eye on it. And I figured I might have to wait a while, since I didn't give Feld0 my dollar (or maybe I did... I don't exactly remember)

I'm going to be scouring through devart for more resources to help me begin on that. And since we are on that topic, what sort of colours/colour scheme are you looking for? The more I know about this the easier it is to make it.

I knew I wasn't the only American to use British spellings! I was thinking of something along the lines of my OC's colour scheme. Maybe a black background with fiery neon colours for the design? Also, maybe you can make a version with my OC's cutie mark (it's the same as Vinyl Scratch's, just reversed colours)

Sorry for a late response, the only time I will "probably" not want someone to use a piece would be if it's a gift for someone intended for their use only. If I were to do that, it'd be obvious for those viewing but I'd still make a point that it wouldn't make sense for others to use it. Other than that, as I said in the OP, as long as you don't claim that you made it, I don't mind if you use it.

 

Also, *though right now it is solely donor sized sigs*, please don't "re-size" the signatures so you can use them as a free-user. If you would like to use a donor sig's template, you can send me a PM and I will see what I can do about cropping the sig to work with non-donors without loosing the quality.

Found a couple of vectors and images while browsing through DevArt that I thought would be good to incorporate into some new signatures.

@: I love the way your most recent work came out, as a matter of fact I'm going to be using it for my Rarity theme since I haven't use that theme in awhile.

 

Also, I can't wait to see the PSD files too. I really want to remove the text, because I want more of a simplistic look. I could do it in PS, but with the PSD it'll be much easier. Great job anyway.

Alright, new update. Found an epic picture of Twilight while lurking through DeviantArt *as I normally do*

 

So, after thinking a bit, I downloaded it, and tried my hand at making a new wallpaper. Still trying to learn photoshop, 'feel like I've gone back a bit in technique :T

Anyway, got around to making a couple more signatures. One of them being for since she suggested I do Colgate for my next pony. Results -

 

That text just would NOT work with me...

 

Next and final addition would be a birthday gift for . Took me quite a bit of time...especially since I tried to recreate what I did with mine, yet still be different.

Don't think I achieved that....

 

 

However, I think I did manage to give a machine-like feel.

Well, 

 

I've always wanted to try my hand at one of these style of wallpapers. And I think I finally managed to pull out the effects required.

I actually like this piece quite a bit and, in my opinion, despite the simplicity of it, think it's one of my favourites.

Though I know there is one member who would probably think differently of the poni I chose :3

So I read up a bit on adjustments and such for photoshop, and, after learning what they do and how they work, I actually feel smarter...er...er. This vector was just too badass to pass up. And hopefully, I kept its badassery intact.

Christmas themed..ish...wallpaper...in August...whatever.
