  1. Sega Saturn: Dragon Force Shining The Holy Arc Gun Griffon Street Fighter + 20 other games that are just bad =P Genesis: So many I have no idea where to start Dragon Force and Shining The Holy Arc are not that uncommon, but they are still the best games I know, new games have trouble keeping up with them. I never played any RPG that had the feel Shining The Holy Arc had...
  2. I really dislike episodes that rely on a conflict that could be easily solved or that is only based on one character acting surprisingly stupid, for example the episode with owlicious. That Spike is jealous is natural, but in that way? He doesn't seem that way. Apple Family Reunion - AJ was way too obsessed and ignored the other ponies telling her she should calm down and just let them enjoy the reunion. There is more, but that's really annoying me. When the conflict is more understandable and realistic, like Fluttershy's fear in Hurricane Fluttershy ... I have no problem with it at all.
  3. It is normal that other people find it weird that you like a show like that, but of course it is not weird at all. That they think it is is just because of human nature and as we all know human nature is often times really terrible, like in this case. So enjoy the show and tell those who you want, either they accept you the way you are or they weren't your friends anyway.
  4. Season Three is half the episodes of the other seasons, so you should wait till the end of season 4 before you say that some pony got not enough episodes, because only with another 13 episode season it would count as a full season. That's my thoughts about that. Also do not worry, I am pretty sure the MLP developers will give everypony their screentime, AJ got hers, Rarity will get hers.
  5. I didn't like secret of my excess at all, don't ask me why, that episode had everything a good one needs, so there is no real reason behind it, except that I don't like Spike and his slightly artifical problems... . Hurricane Fluttershy on the other hand was an awesome episode with my two favourite Mane 6 Ponies and a lot of friendship moments between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy - plus new aspects of both characters. Responsibility for Dash (which was finally really important in Sleepless in Ponyville) and bravery+self-confidence for Fluttershy. It expands Fluttershy's character a lot, because now her limits are somewhere entirely else and she is not doomed to be shy and reluctant in any way. Of course other episodes showed different sides of her too, but this one seems the most reasonable and realistic.
  6. For me it's hard to imagine something very vividly on purpose, but in the typical spots of relaxation where your mind is free (e.g. when you go to bed) to act I do indeed have a very vivd imagination and going through a whole movie while I making it up is now problem in my head. If I like that? I can't really say, sometimes it makes sleeping really hard, sometimes it helps me develop the greatest of ideas and since I want to become a designer it might come in handy.
  7. I myself tend to be either true neutral or chaotic good. You cannot put me into one category that easy. My characters are probably easier to judge as they are mostly true neutral or neutral good, not both though like myself. I do not play RP's with evil sides... not those stereotype evils. If there is an evil in my story or roleplay they have good reasons and don't act like someone evil would - their actions are fully understandable and just evil towards the opposing side. As for myself: I am too open towards everyone and everything to be true chaotic good, but I also have my own ideas about everything and they tend to be rather the stereotype of good.
  8. Be aware that the pony universe is based on being funny, so to achieve whatever goal you strive for you can use any silly way that is working - it doesn't matter if it makes sense or not. For example if I want my earth pony or unicorn OC to visit a pegasus character I would tie balloons to him so he can fly, like Pinkie likes to do. Of course a pony is far too heavy to be carried by 20-30 balloons, but that doesn't matter. You can get through with anything if it's just funny enough.
  9. Welcome, I hope you like to share your art and provide our eyes with some candy. Working with bases is no shame, I do work with art of other artists myself a lot (only if I get their permission of course) and give out my art with deviant arts common share license, so others can use my art too. I love doing banners for example. ^^ Eew, snow well, I'm more a fan of other elements I guess.
  10. Welcome, I really hope you get to that soon, the season 2 finally is indeed amazing and has a really great character in it - but I don't want to spoil you anything so I won't tell you more. So since when are you a brony? Sounds like you just started watching the show.
  11. Hello there, that's the good thing about MLP-related communities, they are mostly friendly and quite tolerant, so you don't need to be afraid they might dislike you because of anything. How long have you been a brony?

    Hello!

Hello there, and welcome. A freshly baked brony? Haha, could be interesting when you start seeing all the head-canon and other stuff the community created. Once you are into it it will feel natural though. Have a nice stay.
  13. I like that Rainbow Dash finally has to show some responsibility and will need to do so in all future episodes that deal with their relationships too. She seems to be so much of an adventurous and danger-seeking pony that her character was a bit flat, despite all the episodes she got (feels like half the show is just about her). Now with the added responsibility she seems much more interesting.
  14. Lucid dreaming is something I tried for long and it worked here and there but it left me pretty exhausted on the next day. Also it was not good enough, the only good dreams are so strong that you can't realize you are in them - if you do they start to suck. I still am waiting to get that one dream where I am Rainbow Dash and AJ has a crush on me...
  15. I can tell you that for a guy it's not that much harder, you just need to know your arguments. Girls love watching shows for boys and it's natural that boys love watching shows for girls too from time to time. Then there aren't any good shows for girls around - they all have the problems Lauren Faust stated in her post (not sure where anymore) - and she avoided those issues in MLP, that now all boys and men run to that one show because it doesn't outright "suck" is pretty obvious.
  16. Uh nice, I do never dream about MLP at all. My dreams are usually are centered about two things: Catastrophes with natural causes (tornados, fire etc.) Everyday life Especially the latter is very annoying. You dreamed to wake up and go to school, just to actually wake up and go to school... . Well, I am out of school for a while now, nevertheless it's very annoying.
  17. Sadly the effect the show had on me was rather weak. I didn't really learn much new from the lessons in the show, but they were not in vain either - I got reminded of some quite serious aspects of those lessons which I had forgotten or didn't care too much about. Rather how I moved in the fandom has affected me very much. I learned to never put too much effort and time into something on the internet if you are not having fun by doing so - as the people who see your work might misinterpret it and you end up with hate upon you for all the hard work you've done. Anyway - at the end all became better than before and I am quite sure as far as real life relationships go it's a funny aspect of me that I like MLP and most people are very surprised at this as I do not look like someone who would be a fan of colorful ponies.
  18. I think she is educated but not directly intelligent because of that. She probably has very well developed social skills and attended school like everypony else - but was never good at math. You don't need to be good at math to have a sense for business. If you would compare the Mane 6, they seem all to have very different levels of intelligence and logical ways of thinking, but all except for Twilight seem to have the same education. Actually Twilight just read a lot of book on her own.
  19. Definitely Twilight! Okay that was a joke... because that's not her original dress, but anyway, doesn't she look awesome in this? As far as the dresses from the show go... hm I think I would choose Rainbow Dash, not because she looks best directly but her outfit fits her better than the other outfits fit to their respective characters. Most fan-made dresses are better though, they somehow catch that spark in every character better.
  20. I didn't even see 8 yet... I'm so stuck with 7. *g* Well but from what you guys say it just makes me stay with my tactic even more - new PC new OS, but not change without getting a new computer. That saved me from Vista by the way, as I didn't get a new PC in that time.
  21. I am not sure who said that Vista was buggy or 7 bad but they sure as hell have no clue. The real problem with Vista is that it's unnecessary complicated where it should be easy and simplified where more complexety was needed. But the number one problem why all hate Vista is because it's SLOW. XP has a extremely good performance and so does 7. Windows 7 needs just slightly more time than XP for most tasks, unlike Vista which is partially so much slower than XP that you feel like your PC is lacking. As for Windows 8 - I only change my OS when I entirely wipe my drive or setup a new PC, I never change it just because a new comes out.
  22. Basically my thoughts. Pinkie Pie made this episode awesome though - her randomness had Youtube-Poop qualities and that's hard to beat. It's rare MLP makes me laugh that hard, but when it happens it is usually due to Pinkie Pie.
  23. I use Windows 7, before I used XP. Never touched Vista. Mac is out of question for me, as I do like playing games and do a lot of stuff in my PC files so that "all one button"-simplicity of Mac would be a huge hinderance for me. But I am open for Linux, it is somewhat unnecessary for me though, as I can always achieve what I need with Windows. Just if I ever setup a server I will definetely use Linux.
  24. Well, let's take your own words. Why NOT enjoy it? Feeling sad about it won't change it either, so enjoy it at least while it lasts. Two things you guys should keep in mind with this issue: The fandom is just hitting it's zenith, there are many years before it will die down - and by then you might not even be interested in it anymore, so you won't even notice it. If you are so confident that you are still interested in MLP in 5 or 10 years, why do you worry so much? You won't be the only person who feels that way and thus it will still be alive in 5 or 10 years, maybe even so lively that you barely notice that all the biters left. Take those words to your heart for a moment and you will feel better.
  25. I vote for Magic Duel and Wonderbolt Academy. What I didn't like about Sleepless in Ponyville is that Rainbow Dash should of seen that coming, especially since she was just like that when she was young, but more importantly episodes with too much affection make me sad and that's never a good thing. Magic Duel and Wonderbolt Academy were really entertaining though and didn't leave that bad taste after I watched them. Aside from that Sleepless in Ponyville is awesome. Also Pinkies performance in Spike at your service had Youtube-Poop qualities - really awesome.
