  1. I'm not exactly sure what compelled me to squirt ketchup into my drinking cup that one time I did as much. It was relatively embarrassing... moreso because I didn't notice until I started drinking the ketchup. Yeah. Pretty rancid.
  2. I'm admittedly a bit more reserved in real life than I am on here. I dislike talking a bit because my voice, which is still developing in a way that I'm not used to, is a source of self consciousness. That said, save for being a bit more quiet, I have no issue speaking either curtly or at length about matters with my peers. I'm a bit wordier in real life because it's not as simple to tell if I'm lapsing into sesquipedalian loquaciousness a little, sure, but I'm just as brusque, sarcastic and willing to add to a conversation as I am on here. I do, however, pick and choose a bit more when it comes to just who I'm going to talk to. Much easier to waste your time with people in person than it is on here.
  3. I'd like the show a little more if my little sister didn't find nearly ever running gag of the series to be memetically sound. It's kind of annoying when I'm reading to repeatedly hear, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!" and that shtick about hamboning.
  4. I was prone to private delusions of grandeur as a young child because I felt as though I were more lucid and sagely than everyone I knew. I've since gotten over that, dw.
  5. I tend to react to such things with a flat "what." To be honest, I've never really pined for anyone from afar. I either act on a crush or don't have one.
  6. Don't you see the irony in cutting one's self off from discussion on an Internet forum due to the chance that drama might arise from differing viewpoints clashing? It's a forum. It comes with the packaging and to deny that reality is to completely misconstrue the point of a forum at its core.
  7. Dude, that stopped being funny a week after South Park came up with it. You're also doing it wrong. Four question marks, not three. The issue, if there even is one to begin with, is people shuddering in fear of POTENTIAL drama whenever someone brings up a point even remotely controversial. There is nothing wrong with what Fizzy is saying. To an extent, I even agree with him. You're only proving him right by dismissing him as a firestarter without even considering what he's trying to say. He acknowledged the moderators as being regular people. Not too big a deal.
  8. I would totally come back as, like, some sort of deadly bacteria. I'll infect someone, somewhere in an overpopulated and humid locale, reproduce like it's going out of style and take over the world with due time.
  9. It's a stupid dichotomy. "Closet brony" steals its origin from a similar term regarding a person's sexuality and the suppression of it. It indulgently implies, as thus, that the revelation of one's association as part of a FANDOM is as weighty or threatening to one's social equilibrium as the reveal of a hidden attraction to a specific gender binary. It isn't, yo. Being a brony does not define who I am. It isn't a big deal at all. I do not flaunt it or adorn my room with merchandising in a way that suggests, "YO WORLD. FUCK. I LOVE THIS SHIT." If someone were to find out I was a "brony," it wouldn't matter because - even if rejected - it's just something I like. Not something I am. It's a stupid term, as said before. If you're - and that's a general "you" - so insecure about being a brony that you must hide in some imaginary "closet," you have bigger things to worry about than someone discovering your bronydom. This applies to all interests. Stupid term.
  10. Bronies are much too self indulgent with their identity as such and are a source of vicarious embarrassment. It's a fandom. Come on. Nothing revolutionary about post-modern / remix / cult classical pop culture items such as this. Fandoms in general tend to invoke the "THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS" caveat. Homestuck is enjoyable when you rid yourself of all the unnecessary hype, shipping wars and fanfiction that its fans feel shove down the throats of, well, everyone. I've been reading of my own accord for years. That's why it doesn't suck for me. The Internet is the worst thing to have happened to children in general. I swear, it gets to the point where you all sound the same. Spouting memetic nonsense is not funny nor is it suggestive of any sort of life. Any meme is an old meme. Gays only have as much of an issue being accepted by secularists as they do because there's this certain "all enveloping" characteristic that they seem to adopt in regard to their homosexuality, as if their being gay is something to take pride in and flaunt. No one cares, truthfully. All for gay rights here, don't get me wrong. People can't take a hint and learn to shut up and go most times.
  11. Roop's given the most practical advice here. Never make a permanent decision based on a fleeting interest, be it with interior decor, tattoos, career paths, etc. I'm not warding against getting a tattoo as much as I am warding against that particular one.
  12. Belated thanks for the birthday wishes. I was born in June though.

Much appreciated! I'm kind of flitting about. To be fair, I'm only a brony by denomination these days. Much more invested in Homestuck and old seinen manga.

  13. I'm not really moved by a whole lot but... well, damn, man. Talk about your tearjerking tales, huh? There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said so I'll just suffice with this; thank you, really, for sharing such an experience and gift with us all. You've got me awe here, my friend.
  14. A packet of painkillers in my right pocket, a pocket screwdriver in my left and a wallet containing the assorted ID cards of five different guys, a picture of my family and my expired Metrocard.
  15. If I were a troll, knowing that I made someone do this would have me in hysterics. It's so indulgently melodramatic, lol. It always baffled me how the amateur trolls that would occasionally pop on sites I went on could suck the fun out of everything for nearly everyone. They're not that big a deal and, trust me, most of the "trolls" any of us are seeing are doing it plainly wrong. I used to rub shoulders with a couple of guys who made trolling into an art. It's a good thing we're occasionally attacked by such novices, lol, take my word on that.
  16. I'm generally okay with them. My kid sister was a nut as a toddler so I've kind of been dulled to this apparently shared desire for "choking little kids."
  17. Well, damn. A warm welcome to you, Ben! Trust me, you've come to the right place.
  18. Welcome to the boards, mate, here's hoping you find your place here and stay!
  19. JJ, the artist behind Molestia, is a renowned hentai artist. He draws a lot of porn. I think that answers your question.
  20. I'm hoping to get enough cash as to where I can spontaneously "make it rain" and not feel bad about it. It's an unlikely dream but a dream worth dreaming.
  21. I need to shave. Starting to look like I'm latently cosplaying Shaggy.

  22. I tend to wind up watching it with my kid sister when I'm stuck babysitting her. I mean, it's a fun show. The continuity aspect is appealing. Some of the character archetypes are transparently banal and you can tell who's going nowhere but, somehow, the show still has a way of making you give a damn - however slight! - about the fate of its cast. From what I've seen of this season thus far with the kid, I'm rooting for Sam despite knowing that he's done for soon enough. His voice actor and personality reminds me of KC Green, this comic artist who's absolutely great. Issue is, he's too nice and not pathetic enough to be allowed to continue when eliminating him can generate some "shock" instead. Seeing as the little black kid's got him beat in the "pathetic pushover" archetype, he's more likely to stick it out most of the way through. But yeah. I'm no diehard fan. When it's on, it's on. I can watch it without groaning, most times, but it's usually only when I can't watch a movie or something for the sake of my kid sister.
  23. Had a Lvl. 56 Breton, got bored with that because I felt I didn't milk the game for what it was worth. Move on to a Lvl. 35 Nord. Pickpocket got to 100 and then things got retarded when I realized I could have entire towns walking around in their skivvies. I capped that file off by murdering everyone in Whiterun, dragging them up to Dragonsreach's porch and blasting corpses everywhere onto the Statue of Talos and whatnot. Finally decided to get serious about a week ago after a five month hiatus with a Wood Elf playthrough. I'm currently sitting at a cool Lvl. 33 with 100 Enchanting, 70 Alchemy and 75 Smithing. Currently undergoing the accumulation of enough phat lewtz as to where I can pull a sweet XXX+ damage rating on a Daedric bow, not unlike Gummy above. I'm pretty satisfied with this file so far and will likely try to 100% it over the summer nights. I'm pretty sure my favorite thing to do, though, is dual cast Telekinesis in an inn on a pile of coins somewhere and chuck the coins at the innkeeper. "Gil Toss!" Cross franchise joke. Not very funny.
  24. Probably not intentional but this is uncannily similar to a line in this book I'm reading, "Everything Matters!" Eerie.
  25. We ought to bounce ideas off one another. That's something of a guilty hobby of mine, I'll admit, and I've been told I'm rather... impressive at it!
