  4. That was my thought exactly! Good 'ol Strong Hooves. The writers probably don't, but it's a cool thought that maybe they surf these forums and pick up some ideas.
  5. According to that generator, my pony name (when using my real name) is: Huh. Not what I was expecting but its cool.
  6. This doesn't necessarily have to do with Alicorn origins, but I've noticed that Alicorns don't have traditional pony names: "Celestia", "Luna", "Cadence", and "Leon" are all singular, 'normal' names. To me, this sets the Alicorns further apart from the other races, especially when you consider that Alicorns are slightly larger in stature, possess a longer lifespan, and wield superior magical abilities than any of the other three.
  7. Heh, well, CT isn't that big of a state, so chances are we've probably crossed paths at some point before becoming bronies.

  14. Name: Vrolgg Llewellyn Age: 30 Gender: Male Species: Half-Orc Appearance: Standing at a towering 6'8'', Vrolgg has an intimidating and dominating stature. He is incredibly well built and muscular, with various scars across his back. His facial features, albeit his lower canines jutting out from his jaw, are more reflective of his human lineage. Vrolgg's hair is a dark obsidian, and his eyes are a burnt umber. He typically wears garments and robes representing his beloved God, Pelor. Personality: Vrolgg is very kind and polite, a stark contrast to the Half-orc stereotype. He is genuinely concerned for those suffering various ailments and those who are too weak to protect themselves. He has some difficulty understanding basic things, a hindrance he usually attributes to his Orcish lineage. Vrolgg tends to be optimistic in situations of peril. Character Traits: He regularly blames his Orc blood for the source of all his flaws and for the scorn he receives from members of his family. Despite his usual calm and easy-going demeanor (a state which took years to achieve, much to the efforts of his mother and other Pelorian priests), Vrolgg's anger sometimes gets the better of him. It is a subtle reminder of his parentage. Backstory: Vrolgg is the product of the unfortunate encounter between a group of Orc raiders and the noble Llewellyn family. His mother, Deanna, the only living child to Lord and Lady Llewellyn, was raped during the battle with the orcs. During the fight, Sir Eamon, a young knight who was betrothed to Deanna, was killed along with members of House Llewellyn protecting the family keep. The Llewellyns defeated the wave of Orcs, but the damage was already done. Instead of killing the unborn child that stirred in Deanna's womb, the Llewellyns chose to favor Pelor's mercy and decided that they would raise this Half-Orc. However, Lord Llewellyn named the child "Vrolgg", which meant "disgraced" in the Orc tongue. Vrolgg's childhood was harsh and difficult, as he was born into a prestigious house that hated his blood. Luckily, he had a caring mother who loved him for who he was. Deanna was a devout Pelorian maiden, and urged Vrolgg in his youth to join the clergy. Pelor and the clergy constantly served as a source of solace for Vrolgg during his pilgrimage and times of need. Vrolgg has traveled the lands with other men of Pelor, healing the sick and feeding the hungry. He has recently settled in a humble town where he serves as one of the primary healers.
  15. Also, Jason David Frank voicing a Mighty Morphin' Power Pony! But seriously, the casting crew should get John DiMaggio to do some voice work. The guy is phenomenally talented.
  16. That is awesome, however I'll take your Sir Ian McKellan, and raise you a Sir Patrick Stewart! I mean, they got John de Lancie to do Discord, why not get Cpt. Jean-Luc as well?
  17. I would have to agree with some of you here: Prince Blueblood really irritates me. He come across as a stereotypical rich, pompous, and ignorant imbecile. He really needs to get off his high horse (ho ho!).
  18. Grew up speaking Tagalog (Filipino), then I moved to the U.S.. Twenty years later, I only speak English! Ha ha. I'm sad now.
  19. I've only ever been to three: Disney World, Busch Gardens, and Six Flags New England. And Disney blows those two out of the water, imo (although, Busch Gardens is still pretty damn fun).

My family wasn't having huge financial problems when I got CS3 for my birthday. Sadly, things have changed very, very much for us since then. :-(

    3. Anachronous

      Anachronous

Ouch, Feld0, that's really a shame to hear... If it's any consolation, the only reason that didn't happen to us is because we didn't have much of an economic height to fall from in the first place. I'm sure things will work out soon enough! After all, it's not as though you aren't doing your part and then some!

    4. Halfblood

      Halfblood

It "got" it back in 2009, so I'm quite surprised it lasted this long. I do regret not being able to fully support Adobe, as it is superb software. As it is, when I have a steady income going and when I stop being a broke college student, I'll this software once again. I'll just have to make do with GIMP, I suppose.

  23. Playing ME3 multiplayer, i'm a very busy pony

  24. That would be called a Hippocamp, and I would love to see them in MLP.
