It was a deep ebony color, as all could see, yet even the healing powers of the doctors who were employed at the hospital were unable to remove it. Twilight's friends had done plenty of research on the mark, the only clue left behind by Sparkle's assailant, and were probably out doing that right now. Her dragon slave, Spike, Snow scoffed mentally, was likely crying his eyes out elsewhere. The unicorn nuzzled the black mark with her broken horn, and even though it no longer was a conduit for magic, she still felt the immense power of what it took to overwhelm a unicorn so practiced in sorcery as Twilight was. Yet Snow Shine, still, was clueless as to where the hoof mark came from. She took a deep breath, envisioning herself in control of whatever artifact or creature it came from, and just then, she felt something else... It was the regal mental presence of an alicorn, and its thoughts were as black as the void itself, mad as the dancing stars in the cosmos. Snow withdrew from the mark, stunned. Well, then. That really narrows it down... how many evil, insane alicorns can there be? The unicorn exited the hospital without another word, and the single-mindedness of one who seeks revenge. Time to do some research...

Most who enter the Everfree do not come out, and even the brave and bold Palace Guard fears it: with good reason. Between its spiny brambles that twist and grope for the sun, are thousand-year old trees, ancient temple ruins of forgotten deities, and dark demons, who run amok, unchecked. It was only recently, though, that disturbing dreams, coupled with the Cutie Mark Crusaders' curiosity, awoke the Chained Stallion, Tharazul, who was defeated by the Elements of Harmony long ago. Though still chained, the Dark Alicorn was not powerless, and sent forth children of the night to do mischief in Ponyville and bring him the Elements. The shadow monsters were surprised to find the six powerful artifacts unprotected in a library, and stole them away. Twilight Sparkle made a futile attempt to protect them, and she was found on the ground, still breathing, but with the mark of a black hoof branded on her coat, and in a coma. The creatures escaped, and now Tharazul has possession of the Elements. He is unable to use them, as he cannot even begin to understand the magic of friendship, yet still, the Chained Stallion has long arms, and though bound to his cave, he casts his shadow over Ponyville... Rules: 1. The allowed races are Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth Ponies. If you have a non-pony character you want to play, I'll let you know whether that character is appropriate in this RP or not. 2. Canon characters are not allowed. 3. You can play as a good or evil character. As this roleplay is sort of a crusade against Tharazul, you COULD play a neutral character who doesn't really care, but I don't imagine what they'd be doing during a battle between light and darkness, unless they were mercenaries or brigands. 4. As usual, no Mary/Gary Sues, godmodding, power playing, spotlight-hogging, or anything else that would be considered "unfair." 5. Try not to make things go too fast. Other ponies might still want a chance to have fun with intrigue and diplomacy, instead of fighting all the time. 6. If you're gone for over one week, I (or someone else you choose) will take control over your character until your back. If someone wishes to join while you're gone, then they can replace your character. 7. Kindly play only one character. If it is required, I will play multiple characters. 8. As an additional rule, I would like everyone to post a personality (not physical or magical) strength and flaw of their ponies, along with their links, please. Thanks for the welcome, Wingnut! My favorite pony is certainly Chrysalis, and after that, it's a toss-up between Twily and Cadance. As for how I got into MLP, it happened when a ten-year old friend referred me, and a fifteen-year old reinforced the suggestion. I doubted I'd like it, but I humored them and watched it anyways. The soundtrack hooked me, and I enjoyed the first episode so much that I watched the entirety of Seasons 1-3 in under a month. Searching for more like-minded people, I came here...

That's pretty sad... anyhow, dafly is right. Especially if your father is just joking and teasing, not ridiculing you and still accepts you as a son.

Looks like something with a lot of potential! I'm certainly looking forwards to seeing it. The pictures were great, and I didn't even have to finish watching the video to know that this will be an interesting project.
