Well I tend to not use the word hate as I find it a bit strong, but now I come to think of it, quite a lot. People who just don't listen and refuse to accept that you have a valid point, even when you are being perfectly reasonable. Haters, Trolls, ect... Over-competitive people. Most of today's society. Morden attitudes to everything in general. Violence/war ect practically fascist media corporations. (fox news being a perfect example) Tyranny. Most governments (because they are lying assholes.) Those really, really pessimistic people. The economy

I will have to go with RD. (I favour her over most of the mane 6 because if it hadn't been for seeing a picture of RD that I liked I might never have become a brony.) But in truth I like the entire mane 6 pretty much equally. They all have their pros and cons, and all of them are great characters. Additionally I am biased to RD because I relate to her element (loyalty) the most out of the elements. .

*facehoofs* Cupcakes again? I thought people had moved on. Actually it was one of the first MLP fanfics I read (and the first grimdark) and, admittedly I was a little surprised at the time, but when I finished reading it I actually laughed at myself for caring. It's just a fanfic and as others have said, it's nowhere near the scariest most gory fanfic in the fandom is it? I didn't like it personally. Not because I don't like grimdarks or gore, just because it had almost no story and barely anything apart from the killing scene.

*Heavy sarcasm* yeah sure, I hate anime and all anime fans. Sure. Thank you internet, you've done it again. *un-sarcasm* what? I like anime, not only that, but the guy that converted me to bronyism is the biggest anime/comics/cartoons ect fan in my class! (Or maybe even my entire school.) It's just another troll comment, don't pay it any attention. As long as we don't descend to their level of mindless hate then we know we are the better party here. The reason it was the top comment is just cause of those stupid people who see a hate comment and go: "oh look someone trying to start a flame war, let's encourage them by giving it thumbs up. For da lulz, you know dude, think about dat lulz." tl;dr: youtube comments don't reflect the views of any party involved, so don't even bother taking them seriously.

He's definitely one of the best background ponies IMO. It would be nice if he had a few more lines in season 3.

Yes. Although there are quite a few haters already, we certainly don't need any more! One of the problems I see people having most often are those idiots who go around forcing it on everyone they meet. - We can't force it on people or they will think we are a crazed cult. And yes, if we don't do something about it, it is going to gather a negative stereotype rather quickly. Making a good impression is key to us reducing the number of haters. (It can be done you know!) Additionally those of you who do enjoy that sort of thing please, please do not go around shouting about how you look at R34 of MLP. If we all stay true to our message of 'love and tolerance' then we will be fine.

I can't actually DO much but I try to support and show my appreciation for the fandom as much as I can. I enjoy all of the things the fandom creates. Although having said I don't do anything I will try my hand a couple of fanfics but I have no idea how good they'll turn out. I would create more stuff if I could, but I suck at art and I don't have the equipment to make music. .

Yeah I love meeting bronies in random places when you never expect it. - it's fun to drop comments and see if there are any. (if there are there can be much lulz gained.)

Hmmm....a shame most of you can't go. If you are going PM me or something. But anyway I'm sure I'll enjoy it. (Goanna take some money with and buy me some boss merch!) Well I know a few guys that don't like it. In fact we were arguing about it a while back. Although these guys are the "irrational haters" rather than the people that hate it for a REAL reason, they hate it because they think we are all gay or have the mental age of a six year old girl. They also tried use R34 to latch on to and try to use against me, but that happens with all haters. I just argued back, and no one seems that bothered anymore. (I'm a pretty persistent person when it comes to debates.) The whole "shoving it in people’s faces" thing? Well the loudest people are always the ones who are noticed most so...... And I don't know about all of you, but I try to keep to our "love and tolerate" motto. (that's one of the first things that drew me to our fandom, among others.) The "hard core" haters will hate no matter what we do. What's important is keeping the amount of other, "bandwagon" haters in check. tl;dr: people hate things that they don't understand, or find strange.

So I'm going to the UK bronycon (or BUCK) in august this year and I was wondering if anypony else from these forums is going to it? if so maybe we could all meet up or something? If it didn't get any worse then yeah, sure. Hasbro would have to be stupid to put it back to the style of the older gens after the success of G4. But hopefully G4 won't stop for a while yet.
