I usually don't do this because i seriously don't have time for those things, but I like how you asked for real critique which will move you forward instead of "love my art" comments I will not repeat what was already said, here is my opinion showed also on your artwork, if you don't mind. First of all, ANATOMY please, DONT hide limbs under tail/hair if its not necessary or purpose. A LOT of artist do this and is looks (and usually it is) like hiding you lack of knowledge of anatomy. There are plenty tutorials at the internet. Study them, and don't do this next time. It will look better even with some mistakes, than with all hided limbs. Next is SETTING UP SCENE Dont... cut...limbs... never..ever. If its not purpose of close-up frame or something. Seriously, try to draw head/torso/ or whole body. Don't set up scene like you did now. After that is SHADING Not bad... but don't do this mistake : edge = shadow .. thats WRONG Set up light source and imagine that pony in the space. Is that hoof in shadow? should be this ear highlighted? if yes, how much? Just some lame corrections i did (i also corrected that shadow at her belly) Almost last thing i should mention : HAIR Download brushes if you are using Photoshop. Study photos of women with longer hair. Those hair you did looks little like bouffant. And they don't look soft at all. I hope you don't mind all those tips i gave you. And definitely last thing to say : DONT..STOP...DRAWING.. You are on seriously good way to become awesome artist. You need more practice, but you did great work here. - I believed that i have monster under my bed and it will eat my feet when i turn off the light at night. So i always jumped on my bad when i was near light switch... I still do that... even i am 21... - I thought that i am cat and i can see better at night than during the day... it was shock for me when i realized that i can't see at all and i have to wear glasses : D - i also thought that there are secret door in my wall and i have to find out right password to open them - i believed that there is monster also inside of toilet... - and i believed that everything i will draw become real if i wish so.

I found out that there are a lot of people on this forums who draws, but want to give up drawing,they say that they will never be able to draw, that they skills are not good enough etc. ... WRONG . ALL . . . THOSE . THINGS ...ARE WRONG. I actually found it out today, when i decided to redraw 4 years old picture. I remember when exactly i drew it. I also remember how proud was i when i drew it... (i have to say i already drew for 2 years) and also how i started to hate it... because it wasn't good enough... I adored so many artists on Deviantart and kept telling myself that i will never able to draw like them. "ohhh i wish i could draw like this guy... but i never will.. thats impossible..." Its not. I can tell you. Its rly not. Back to art. Like i said, i took my 4 years old drawing , and today i sat down are redrew it.. Here is the result, after daily drawing for 4 years. So message for all hopeless artists on this forum.. don't give up..never..ever

Even more if its positive critique : ) I have to say, yes, i definitely found inspiration in other artist, which use variety of color in one picture, especially complementary colors. There are many many great artists over internet which use colors like this

Draw every day, look for tutorials and speed paintings at youtube and learn from artists that you like !

I quite like design of the pony, i just don't understand why you used background like that. It looks little chaotic and pony is lost in all those lines. I think one colored background would fit better. Anyway, good job on your first time!

Thank you kindly for your positive critique! I feel it same way, i am looking for different art that don't look like style from show. I like it thats why i use my own style in my drawings. To be honest, i did put a lot of effort into this, but not a lot of time. This is 1 hour speed painting on one layer. I see potential in it because if i spend on it 3-5 hours like i do when i draw in SAI result would be much much different!
