You can be the funniest guy ever but the woman is going home with the meat head with wash board abs and expensive car.

Not if that meat head is an @$$hole. Don't speak for me like you know me. Oh and hypothetical funny boy could be an @$$hole too.

I've had crushes on all kinds of dudes. Different heights, weights, races... the main connection was that they were nice to me and had interesting things to talk about.

  2. Are you not actually a Christian, or does Church just make you uncomfortable?

Because I'm a Christian, but I haven't gone to Church in years. I'd like to go again since I'm an adult now and can search around for a Church community I actually feel good in. But yeah, I never really liked Church because I didn't have friends there. I only enjoyed it when my mom let me go to HER Bible studies, because I liked the adults more than the other kids.

Nuanced thinking is simply asking too much of people. I'm only expecting to see the West -- particularly the USA -- become ever-more divided as time goes on. I'm rather excited about these divisions coming to a head down the line and I'm hoping it'll be violent. They've had their chance to stop and reflect on what is going on but at every turn, they choose to continue the division. They'll get exactly what they deserve.

Well isn't that disgusting, elitist and misanthropic?

They don't make any mention of male underwear.  Why?  Because everyone knows that men are ugly and unattractive, and no one is going to bother making art of the male form.

I don’t think that’s the case at all. It’s more that literally everyone on Earth has seen a half naked dude. Half naked dudes jog on the sidewalk in broad daylight. It’s just not something that can really be exploited because there’s nothing taboo about it.

Now a FULLY naked dude on the other hand, well, that’s where the “nudity” tag comes in.

But more broadly, sure, men can be beautiful! I’ve seen some GORGEOUS dudes in my life. And you can be a straight man and be pretty. You might get labeled as metrosexual, or even mislabeled as gay, but so what? Just calmly explain, “No, I’m not gay. And I’m not trans either. I can be flashy and flamboyant and still be a dude.”

Personally, me and a lot of other girls I’ve met have been occasionally jealous of dudes. Because you are ALLOWED to not be pretty. From personal observations, being an “ugly” guy is a lot more acceptable than being and “ugly” girl. It would be great to go out with unshaven legs or dark facial hair and not get disgusted looks. It would be great to just sprawl out in a chair with your legs open and nobody give your the disapproving glance for not being lady-like. Not that there’s anything wrong with being proper. You don’t want to be a friggin’ pig after all. But it’d be nice to just not be sometimes when you’re not at home and no one bats an eye.

And guys get sharp, slick tuxedos. So understated and classy, love ‘em. Can’t even grasp that you think of tuxes as “camouflage”. Sometimes, less is more. If I ever get married, I’ll probably wear a sharp wedding pantsuit like my friend did. And yes, she’s straight and married to a guy.

I actively try not to worry about it. After all, if someone judges me for my appearance, that just shows what kind of person THEY are. So I just do what makes me comfortable and happy (without being gross or obnoxious) and not worry about it.

I'm not forcing them to disobey their beliefs at all... I'm telling them not to force them on other people. Huge difference...

No, @A.V. is correct. You are forcing others to support a lifestyle they don’t agree with. It’s like forcing that same baker to make a pot leaf shaped cake, or one with vulgar words written on it, even if they weren’t cool with that. That baker has every right to say no, and the person can go find someone else to make the product they desire.

Heck that’s capitalism. If the baker still does well despite their refusal to produce certain products, then good. But on the other hand, if they don’t get enough business because they won’t make just anything anybody wants, well that’s the market.

Besides, why WOULDN’T you want to just go somewhere else? If the person doesn’t want to make you something because it’s clashes with them ideologically, why get all pissed and DEMAND that they take your hard earned money? Plenty of other businesses would be thrilled to relieve you of that same cash.

  6. Dawwwwwww! Isn’t that nice?

I wish there was more of these kind of sentiments in the majority of people. All people are just people, trying to get through life the best way they know how. You won’t LIKE everyone and everything they have to say, but stepping back and recognizing your basic connection as people sharing the human experience is truly beneficial to making the world better I think.

  7. Sounds pretty stupid for Iron Will to go screwing around with THE adored national authority figure.

And basically, it all seems completely implausible. Forget about Celestia not putting up with his slander, the citizens of Equestria have been ruled successfully by this mare for hundreds, if not thousands of years. And as we’ve seen, she regularly makes public appearances to mingle with them, and invites community leaders to her castle to address concerns they have.

The citizens of Equestria would more likely tell Iron Will to shut his piehole.

  8. If religious people aren’t special and don’t deserve consideration, than neither do you.

EDIT: Also, don’t make up nonsense like, “Religious people are atheists to all other gods but their own.” Don’t just make up definitions like that. “A” is a Latin prefix that means “not”. So like how “atheist” means “not religious”, “asexual” means “not sexual”, and “asocial” means “not social”.

So an “atheist” is someone that doesn’t believe in ANY god(s). A “theist” DOES believe in god(s), no matter which deity or deities those are. If you believe in God or any other gods, you’re not an atheist, you’re a theist.

And also if I’m going to refer to the Judeo-Christian God, I am going to capitalize it, because God is literally his English name. I’m not Jewish, so I’m not going to call him Yahweh or Jehovah.
