Women want rich, good looking guys and guys want good looking women.

Sure those things are a plus, but if the person with those traits is a scumbag underneath, I literally could not give a rat’s ass how hot they are.

EDIT: Also I’m a creationist, so I don’t give a rat’s ass about evolution either.

But yeah if she’s totally cool with the fact that his first thoughts going into a relationship was “how can I change this human being to fit MY needs”, then yeah go for it.

The fact that she also has an evil, more destructive, side really drives her point home.

I think a lot of people forget that Daybreaker was the dream creation of someone else.

Oh yeah, if Celestia ever lost hear marbles, I absolutely agree that she’d be devastatingly dangerous. But I believe her mental resolve and moral code are way to strong for that to ever happen without outside forces overriding her will. And that mare as a will of IRON.

Some think she was scared because she secretly has actually felt that way before, a secret wickedness she hides from the world. I think she was more freaked out because I know if I was suddenly confronted with a being that looked just like me, claimed to BE me, and was say, a serial killer covered in blood and holding a knife, I’d be more than a little unnerved.

  3. That’s unfortunate. You shouldn’t let other people’s attitudes ruin your enjoyment of a thing. That said, I don’t recall seeing much hate recently. On the other hand, I also tend to just keep to my own (generally positive) opinions about the franchise.

  4. I am not "pro-LGBT", but a human being is a human being, no matter what. No matter your background or views or anything, all people are entitled or basic respect and decency. Someone saying they think you're wrong, no matter the subject or what side they're on, does not constitute a reaction of frothing rage. Everyone you'll ever meet thinks you're wrong about SOMETHING.

If someone is insufferable, do not suffer them. Remove yourself from the fight. Don't drag yourself through the mud to prove how correct you are. You're just wasting precious time you could be using to actually enjoy life. This applies to pretty much all situations and topics. Find better company.

And on a side note, pretty much every friend I've ever had has believed something drastically different from me, one way or another. But that didn't stop us from enjoying each other's company. You can still play video games or watch cartoons with someone that thinks you're wrong.

  5. I'll definitely say a prayer for your success is forging your path ahead.

And hey, I would recommend talking to a therapist or counselor.

There's still an existing stigma that your have to be a barely functioning nutter to see a therapist, but that really not true. I think most "normal" people would indeed benefit from having some sessions with a professional dedicated to listening and helping sort out their feelings and thoughts.

Find one nearby in your healthcare plan and see about a weekly or bi-weekly visit.

  6. LOL! I have a troll I'm dealing with right now too.

Though unfortunately it's not an anti-brony, but a member of MLPs "fandumb". You know the type. Hates your headcanons/ships/whatever and is going to inform you how stupid you are for liking such a thing, how you're a "bad fan", etc.

Wanna know how I deal with these people?

I subject them to ShadO's Fandumb Counter.

How it works is I give them a warning, and if they don't back off, I start the counter. For ever piece of meaningless bile they toss my way, I draw one more picture of whatever it is they're hating on. And then publicly credit them as the inspiration of its creation. XD

I have yet to find someone dumb enough to actually push the counter past 0.

  7. Not sure who you're talking to. I'm not volatile. Melodramatic, maybe, but not over ponies.

I've remained the same person I was when first checked out the show.

A decent, slightly spacey lady. And I'm nothing if not consistent. XD

I haven't really ever gotten involved in any drama.

But that's probably because, despite being part of the "herd", I'm very much a solo kind of fan. I watch the show, and form my opinions, make my own headcanons and art, and no one bothers me about it.

And at the end of the day, I just remember it's a cartoon.

MST3K Mantra: "It's just a show; I should really just relax."
