  5. I think it's one of my recommended books on my Kindle, I'll have to pick it up when I get paid.
  6. Great White - House of Broken Love
  7. In all honesty, rebooting a series or a movie is a risky gambit at best. To me, no matter how faithful they are to the original, they lack that certain spark that made the original great in the first place. I've seen some real good reboots, don't get me wrong, but you could tell that someone else is putting their spin on it and that makes it stray away from the original in that regard.
  8. I was in high school, and I got a black-and-white TV to use with my TI-99/4A computer so I wouldn't take up the main TV in the living room. I don't remember exactly how old I was. I do remember hooking up a cable splitter and running a line into my room so I could also watch TV.
  9. Very rarely. Whatever the scent of my soap is, that's about all I use.
  10. I'm grateful for the time off from work but beyond that I could take them or leave them.
  11. I don't really hum, I just sing the lyrics under my breath.
  12. I'm thousands of miles away from where I went to school so that would be a hard no.
  13. It may take me a little bit but I'm sure I can name them all.
  14. Yup. I just recently graduated to bifocals.
  15. That's the thing about my dreams -- most of the time they're nebulous and disappear from my memory not ,long after I wake up, and then there are times that I can't seem to shake off the dream and it sticks with me. For example ... a few nights ago I had a dream where I was in this casino setting. I saw a blond-haired woman there that I apparently knew somehow although I can't place from where. She was playing blackjack all alone, and I got it in my head to join her. George Takei was the one that cashed me in, using credit-card-like items in place of chips or cash, and he wished me good luck. I sat down at a table, and it was all digital, and I couldn't figure out how to work it at first. I got up and walked around, and every time I went back toward those tables they got older, less modern, and it seemed that the room changed color each time I visited, even varying in brightness each time I was in there. I was trying to find an exit but I kept getting turned around and sent back to the blackjack area. There were other parts I can't fully recall, but that was the main gist of the dream.
  16. I don't know how I cold adequately describe it but I'll give it a try... I live in a suburb of Austin, Texas, and my area has seen a lot of growth in the few short years I've been living down here. The weather is pretty typical of the southwest, hot summers and mild winters with the occasional ice storm.
  17. If there's a way out I haven't found it yet,.
  18. Oooh, let's see... Brussels sprouts, tuna, turnips, beets, and bananas are all the main ones coming to mind right now.
  19. I feel pretty neutral, mainly because of all the times I had to work on a holiday. It's just another day to me.
  20. Me, constantly, especially after talking with the big bosses.
  21. I guess if I had to describe it, it would be "abstract"
  22. I once used the fridge as a temporary morgue for my deceased cat until we could get her to the crematory.
  23. I was never any good at basketball. Or any sports.
  24. Not feeling very well at all. I'm just trying to make it through the day.
  25. I'm thinking some pretty non-pleasant thoughts that I'm trying to shake off so I can function today.
