  1. Below $10k. I get paid a tiny amount of money every few months and I do some things like babysit but no actual job atm. But if I regionalised my standards..I'm about lower middle class. My parents together made...what, $8k? I'm kinda unsure doing these conversions when Idk if its even up-to-date or not
  2. Shrimp is about the only type of "meat" I will eat. Sometimes, I like to dip it in a sort of custard. Naan dipped in butter and wrapped with steamed vegetables Nuts with jelly..
  3. What impact did it leave you with about Muslims and the religion of Islam in general? I think most muslims (at least where I am) are pretty cool people. I have to say the history is interesting Did the experience(s) make you think highly or less of Islam? On Islam itself I remained more or less neutral through my personal experiences with Muslims, just like with Christianity. I think that some areas in the middle east are particularly susceptible to violence and holy wars incited by extremists because of ethnic tensions, poverty, lack of border control and army, and the way that any radical group tries to appeal to some NWO that seeks to make people feel comfortable joining. That's why I think we should keep our soldiers in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, because other countries in Central Asia now have to deal with the international community in response to the Turkey attack :s I wish the others would reach out for more help, always ready to give. How did you respond/react? My country is 10% or so Muslim and I think it's growing strongly in some regions. I think one of the most beautiful places is Bashkortostan, and I'm more than please to talk to any friendly muslims just as like with any other group of people. There's a huge unrecognised range of opinions and I'm pretty surprised when many don't even know the Arabic alphabet exists because of heavy translation culture and isolation from any place that uses it in texts. How did the Muslim behave towards you? Pretty kindly. The last encounter I had was on VKontakte (which is Facebook for Eastern Europe/Central Asia) and we got to talking and we had a bit of a cultural exchange. He was an Afghani. They showed me some personal items that they felt tied them in and united them with the greater Muslim population and I explained to them certain mannerisms and a bit of my feelings on connection to the Earth. We gave our thoughts on the position of the world and what we'd like to see in the future and our own personal desires.
  4. Closed. I feel like leaving it open = get murdered I get very paranoid while sleeping
  5. Songbird in my butt The Hobbit in my butt Melody of the Wild Dance in my butt Ég Á Líf in my butt Never Forget in my butt meh, bad round
  6. LG G4. Though it's broken and I've all but stopped using it for anything. Not that I don't like it, just too lazy to replace.
  7. Chernobyl. Belarus and Ukraine still have effects to this day. Area is still awful. Belarus's economy also just loves despite (probable) tourism for that reason alone, currency still flops as the country tries to find ways to recover damages and pay for all the expenses and ambitions that it already can't afford. For quite a long stretch of land, it's RIP agriculture.
  8. Seeing some of the things BBC posts makes me wonder if I'm fighting against time/a losing battle. According to several reports, seems like the "more educated" and generally younger crowd of Briains want to stay, but also were too lazy to show up at the polls. But this got me thinking something, and now I'm feeling depressed again. If this is the case, it's all for nothing. If the young generation doesn't care about the concepts behind the leave, then what's the point? They'll just rejoin sometime later, yeah? Democracy works that way, sure, but.. I just feel the wave of euphoria crashing down. My main goals out of the Brexit campaign were predominately cultural ones. as other economic concerns will be dealt with one way or another through the market forces (and to be honest I have no idea what the punishment EU is going to dish out on Britain is going to be), I don't know how many young Britains care about that, I can't ask the majority of them, after all. But I think the only way to in particular keep the place from devolving into a diversified mess ('a la Nigeria), but also to retain whatever remnants of the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh, the only thing you could do is leave. Why? Well, I'd like to think all people, not just young, think in a more objective sense. If a culture is worth saving it will save itself, so if its not something immediately present to me upon going somewhere, it's not important. That's how I think people think. Am I wrong? I mean I've seen people get the bad end of this before, particularly with Belarus since no one considers them a separate country, and Central Asia is our mess and I think others just generally assume they are our vassals forevermore™. This is something an American, too, has said in response to Ukraine going protectionist and demanding Ukrainian (by country of origin and language) music start being played at a certain percentage by law (although idk if this passed or not). He said that if its good music, it will sell itself, and it doesn't need any support. But I don't know, I'm sort of uncertain about these things. But whatever the case, I can't say I've ever felt like I could hop on any train of this crazy ride. I don't know what I am, I don't know what I want, I don't know what to see. Maybe it's because I'm so disconnected from European affairs other than what the news can tell me, but I just feel like it's all lost anyway and that the sort of "neo-liberal policies" or whatever you can call it is the new default for the future generations. Sorry for being all bitchy, everyone. To be honest I guess I just see the (near) future of the world being led by the American-European combo unless we get our **** together over here and do something with ourselves. And if that's the case, then we will be led by lazy but otherwise indifferent (or rather pro) people to the concept of unionisation and domain loss of sovereignty?
  9. I don't think North Korea's neighbours Russia and China are thrilled at it developing a nuclear weapon and would go from less-thrilled to considering a form of power sniping if they armed it.
  10. Seems like EU wants to become a new Soviet Union of sorts, becoming some sort of quasi-superstate with pseudo-integration and poorly-managed fund transfers/regional development, and we all know that works out great right guys?
  11. I'm an English-speaking Russian. Why to learn it? Read great literature from all sorts of genres, fantasy, romance, alternate world, epics, and hell, some pony fics are available only in Russian - and a lot of them are pretty good. Listen to amazing music from any era, whether you like pop, blues, rock, or metal. There is a Russian band for it. And as for your native language, the future of Spanish looks pretty bright, as its set to have 1/3 of the US speaking it by 2050 (roughly). That's pretty good. What uses do you have for Spanish? Maybe you should read some literature or find some latin-american music to listen to. Or maybe you can expand your horizons with some deep intellectual study in the Spanish language medium. A few years ago, I would never have expected to have so many people take interest in my language, but over the past bit, I've seen more Americans want to learn Russian than Russians English. I've seen kids from Afghanistan and India take it up as a school subject and ask me questions in broken language. What purposes does Russian serve? It's my native, I prefer it in all situations I can use it. I use it for mostly everything except games like Team Fortress 2 because of bad/incomplete translation. I design most of my art or pony fiction around the Russian language. I've only done one English story so far and it's not complete, because I have difficulties describing what I want. So what does it offer over English? Unlocking other cultures, getting to discover some things that do not get localised into other world languages, getting to see people's true opinions on things and connect on a deeper level. It's nothing that it really offers that another doesn't, per se. It's the culture that's different. That's what it offers you over another. I know its cliché as hell to say but the ultimate purpose of learning a new language is up to you. If you like the things I've given examples of, you have good reason to learn. I know motivation is a challenge, so that's why it is best to start with people and move on to stuff that is awesome or sounds awesome like music. Then you can go to film and literature and by that point you have a deeper appreciation. Then it's just a matter of overcoming your laziness most times. Sadly to say, I do not understand either of my ethnic languages because of emigration and lack of use, but I'd like to learn them both. I've taken the task of learning at least a few words, and I'll decide on what I wanna do from there. Both are rather small in the world but I still desire learning. Why? Because it lets me listen to things, watch things, and connect with people who I can feel at home with, and that is an awesome thing. I've learned Spanish much for the media and communication. On tl;dr On the internet I usually use Russian for personal and English for sites like this and gaming. With Spanish I music, the ridiculous amounts of Simpsons episodes redubbed, popular US movies not in English online because they get shut down easy..etc IRL pretty much only Russian unless I have some sort of business/professional need.
  12. Every time I see something related to Life is Strange I feel the depression coming back like a raging storm

  13. My name is Rallo, and don't you ever forget it 'cus I bet 5 thousand coins in bit that When I get on the mic, you can't step up to me Like the end of Macbeth, it's like a killing spree And now I'm changing up my verse in the hearse Carrying your coffin to your grave - it's a curse You only made it worse by challenging me Unlike Moses, I don't split the $@#&$*% C I'm making a change, and I'm getting it right Screw the princess, just being a knight's a delight This is my kingdom, kid, and I demand you yield Or I will wreck you so bad you can only kneel Like they told Michael Jackson, "Just give it up, man" But you're not the J5 You're a beached whale stuck in sand So lose that extra tummy, You'll be better off, honey While you're scathed and bloody I'll be bathin' in money Go back to school, kid, maybe write this down: I'm not the type to leave my raps on a frown I'm a man of my word, if I honestly confess How many times I shrekt you will be on your math test. Class dismissed.
  14. wat When did these things happen? I've gone through and I must have missed something.
  15. I disable it only if the sites are not rude enough to give me popups to spam me with viruses. Sites like thewatchseries or whatever else throw ads in your face each click you make. They may plead you to turn them off, but I ignore it. You don't deserve them off if you're going to spam visitors. On-page ads only, and not if it as the cost of loading time. I swear the page takes so long to load exclusively because of ads that aren't even interesting.
  16. Charging for 30 mins. At 0%. What do I need to do to live

  17. Angry fluttershy made her jump up on my scale 10/10
  18. Well I guess generally I can support it. I haven't seen any negative examples and it sounds good to do those things. To me the idea is cool that you could even change how your baby would look, so there wouldn't be deformed babies. But at the same time I don't know if that's truly possible
  19. Ambidextrous, but I use my right hand for gaming and general browsing on the internet I use my left hand for eating and reading I use my right hand to draw I use my left hand to throw or catch I use both to cut stuff
  20. 1. Yes. 2. Em..sure, but it's not going to be covered by state money. 3. Yes but that bars them from some competitions - it's their choice in the end. 4. Yes, but it probably costs tens of thousands of dollars/euros to get that. 5. Yes, lets not go in the direction of artificial brains - lots of bad experiments result from that sort of thing. See Soviet Union animal testing. 6. Physically less human, yeah. But if they're still the same as before in mind and soul, then no. 7. I think we answered this already - under any conditions. But if its not medically necessary or impedes functioning in life (like losing all your limbs in an accident), and they just want because it looks cool, then its up to them to pay for it, not anyone else. 8. Not in particular. If you could describe the ideals in a concise way it would be appreciated. I don't typically like labels for things, I just use ideals at whim. Additional relevant infos: I'm talking as a person who has lost their left eye. I'm on the daily threat of losing the other and I am under very frequent monitoring on this because of it. Some days I wake up and I can't see well and I get scared. I wash my eyes out and it burns like a thousand suns and I still can't see. I've had so so many dreams losing my eyesight. And yet despite that I feel sort of "at peace" with it. Maybe that's not it though, maybe I've just abandoned hope. I am asking every person on this forum to treat their eyes well, please. You do NOT know how much you need them until you're about to lose them. You do not think about it everyday, you could not possibly know until you're in a situation where something you're so dependent on is going to be stripped away. No more internets or seeing people at all, all the dreams you have about new stuffs will probably be more audio than visual, you have to learn braille amongst other things, have someone accompany you a lot of places, therapy and jobs get harder.. it's a mess. The only thing that I think will save me is bionic eye replacement. I'm in full support of that and I hope that it comes out in my lifetime or if not, that I don't ruin my last chance.
  21. I already do. I don't see why their personal religious beliefs would arise to be an instant problem.
