Many people are under the false assumption that tumblr (and ask blogs) must be accompanied by art. That is not the point of the website and it is simply a common trait that many ask blogs feature art. That said, it could been simply deemed a courtesy that she has bothered to accompany posts with some sort of visual content (besides that of text). Furthermore, it is not anyone's business how she runs her ask blog ... it is HER ask blog. Not theirs. In conclusion, anyone harassing her for something like that is NOT a true fan of the show (lack of lessons learned in the show) and should not be taken seriously.

Attention, MLP Writers and Producers. RE: Season 3
Strife replied to Silverhoof's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I've never seen Avatar, so I can't really comment on that. As for MLP, notice that Season 1 is "Educational and Informative", thus that EI tag on the screen. They removed that requirement for the show during Season 2. To me, the big part for why I enjoyed the show was how it contained great voice acting, fantastic characters, and it taught a very important lesson every episode. While I did enjoy Season 2, it seemed to be written for more fan appeal. No more EI, no more continuous lessons, additional drama, etc. I am honestly and truly afraid of what Season 3 will be like (but I am excited for an additional season). -
Attention, MLP Writers and Producers. RE: Season 3
Strife replied to Silverhoof's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I can't recall a single time where Celestia has proven useful. She normally does jack squat as the Mane 6 step in and fix everything. The one time that Celestia tried to act, she was shut down by Chrysalis. A Luna episode is always welcome though. I would like to see a million dollars added to my account. I would like to see Spitfire take over the show as the main character. I would like to see Celestia get struck down by lightning. I would like to see Derpy punch the person responsible for making the final verdict in editing her eyes/voice in the show. Silliness aside, Hasbro made it perfectly clear by showing Vinyl's eye color that the fandom is NOT in control of the show. Personally, I rather they keep doing what they're doing and ignore the fan base. IMO, Season 2 was awful compared the charm and story writing Season 1 had. And the show needs more Spitfire. That is all. -
I don't like anything I've written. Ever. Fairly sure it's all garbage. Although people never read them, even though I try, so I guess it's more reality than simply a case of "Artist Regret".

Am I the only one who actually likes spiders?
Strife replied to Evilshy's topic in General Discussion
I forgot to mention that the common Jumping Spider is my favorite type. Extremely clever, fantastic visual acuity, and long distance pouncing. Hard to beat that. -
Am I the only one who actually likes spiders?
Strife replied to Evilshy's topic in General Discussion
I LOVE spiders, they eat all the annoying insects. There are several spiders in my house that I leave alone. We have a mutual understanding. They stay off of me and they get o stay in the cozy house and eat all the bugs. Basically, I pay their rent and they do housecleaning for me. Any time I find a spider that is simply in an unacceptable location, I will capture it and release it outside. Normally somewhere on my plants. -
I'm looking to start an ask blog
Strife replied to PetiteLaSouris's topic in AK Yearling's Writing Resources
Why just pick one? You can make a blog for each, or just one blog for the both of them. But if you really just want to pick one ... I would pick Dizzy. Both I can already see some great scenarios for, but I think the horticulture thing can be abused used quite well. -
Question: 25ish hours from the thread creation, what is the project's progress thus far? Simply curious. And a question I meant to ask yesterday: Will those who have applied be made aware if their application was rejected?

You're already in Equestria? Fantastic, you will get to visit my exhibit in the Museum! Going to start it in Canterlot, but once I have a few more fantastic portraits and other works of awesomeness I'll make sure to have a travelling exhibit so everyone can be humbled by my work. Even Trixie admitted that she can't do better. Wait, who said I was joking? This stuff is premium grade craftsmanship right here. If it's just a case of green jealousy, that's OK. Just like Rarity, green doesn't look good on you. I'll be happy to send you a signed copy too!

My signature is even more of a work of art. It rivals that of the beautiful portrait itself. Famous for failing? No, I'm not Robert Knievel. My stuff is great. Going to make some more and sell it for tons of money. Then I can fund a way to get back into Equestria. Yes ... back into.
