  1. If you could go anywhere on Earth, where would you go? What is your favourite season?
  2. I listen to most genres of music I can get my hands on with the exclusion of (non-story) folk, country, and pop with little lyrical content. I can go into a bit more detail if you wish, but that is the general outline of my tastes.
  3. It actually works really well together because the almond gives a small crunch to offset the softness of the blueberries and the cream cheese frosting sweetens the whole thing. As for colour, probably deep royal blue velvet would probably taste best.
  4. I would be a blueberry almond muffin with cream cheese frosting! Mmmm~
  5. Feel free to ask me or any of my five OCs anything. Anything at all~
  6. From a research perspective, there are seventy-some different combinations of sexual characteristics and the "non-heterosexual" and "non-homosexual" terms were coined to address attraction to sexes other than male or female. It is rarely used though, as other terms can easily take their place. Furthermore, they lose meaning once one considers gender. In short, no it's not a necessary label, but I added it for completeness.
  7. I live in Seattle right now, but I prefer suburban. For me it's a balance between being able to walk or ride [bike|bus] to everywhere I need to go, being able to get lost in the woods, and not having too many people. Though I guess it depends on what you consider urban: my favourite cities have been Oslo (Norway) and Crewe (UK).
  8. I'm surprised no one's said this yet, but I'd be a bat pony. They are just so cute~
  9. For me it would be Jamaican style ginger ale. In fact, there's one on the table right now Though mango lassi comes in at a close second (if you count it).
  10. Ignoring gender differences for now: Asexual - Someone who does not wish to have a sexual relationship with another. They may (and often do) have emotional and romantic attachments though. Some asexuals have no sexual drive in general, but feel arousal towards their partner. Heterosexual - Someone who likes people of the strictly opposite sex Homosexual - Someone who likes people of the strictly same sex Bisexual - Someone who likes both males and females Pansexual - Someone who likes males, females, and [intersexed, trans, agendered] individuals. Pansexuals often state that personality is the most important thing when considering desire for another. (The following two are rare) Non-heterosexual - Someone who does not like the strictly opposite sex Non-homosexual - Someone who does not like the strictly same sex (I'm not sure if there is a non-bisexual orientation)
  11. I've never been able to remember my dreams so I have no idea what would happen in them. I can guess, however, that it would probably scare her since whenever I awaken from a dream I feel like I've either been stabbed, drown, or hit the ground (though this sometimes happens literally). Just to clarify, by awaken from a dream I don't mean the slow coming-to in the morning, but instead the bolt-upright sensation during normal sleeping hours.
  12. Sexually, I'm attracted to anyone I find cute who has a good personality. Romantically/emotionally I prefer non-male gender (eg. Female, agender, genderfluid, etc). Personality is the main determiner for me which is why I identify as Pansexual.
  13. I don't have a bible, per se, but I do have a leather-bound gold-edged edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide. I often use it to quote scripture and prevent arguments about out of context sayings. :comeatus:
  14. I should've remembered to put this in last time, but... The last time I was in a "relationship" was with someone who I used to consider a friend. That is, until I found out that she had a boyfriend before we started dating and they were still together. I found this out--and the fact that he didn't know about me either--with her on my bed just before I would've had sex for the first time. Suffice to say that ended badly and I haven't been in a relationship since (this was 2 and a half years ago).
  15. I'm actually taking a class on the subject of swearing and taboo language, so I might be able to provide a different perspective. First, from a morphological and syntactic viewpoint, swear words can do things ordinary language cannot. The most obvious examples in English of morphological changes are found in expletive infixations. For example, "abso-bloody-lutely" and "fan-fucking-tastic" are commonly found in speech, however it is impossible to replace swear words with orpthophemisms in such a way. Along with syntactic structures that are normally impossible (I.e. The phrase "Fuck you" cannot be explained by normal rules of grammar) linguists have found strong evidence that taboo language has its own rule set outside of normal language. This is also supported by research done on patients with brain injuries and by testing brain activity on different sides of the brain. Unfortunately, I've not focused on the neurological aspect so I cannot say much here. In short, however, taboo language is processed differently than norma language and is handled on the right side of the brain, whereas most communication processing occurs on the left. Now, onto the effects of swearing. The first reason for the usage of swearing is its emotional effect. When people hear swear words they have a small surge of adrenaline and their skin begins to sweat slightly (measured using very specialized tools to detect skin moisture). In experiments, patients who were told to shout swear words were able to handle painful situations better than those told to shout words such as "table" or "cell phone". Used in moderation, it can also relieve stress and has been shown to prevent violence when swearing is performed before hand (does not apply to invective swearing). While swearing too often can be bad both from a social and psychological point of view (extreme swearing is correlated with aggression), so too can preventing yourself from swearing (as it may cause an increase I stress). TL;DR Swearing in and of itself isn't negative, however one should keep in mind the company when they choose to do so (Context is king).
  16. I pace when I'm thinking or stressed. The furthest I've ever done so in one sitting was ~5 miles. I'm pansexual, but I'm still a virgin and I haven't been in a relationship since juinior high. I like to crossdress in private. When my cat died I felt worse than if one of my parents had died. I like tutoring and wouldn't mind a child of my own, but hate teaching and dealing with more than one child at a time. I'm getting kicked out of Uni because I have too many credits. I have full conversations with myself. I've been told by professionals that my programming is top notch and I've mapped out the implementation of my own compiler, but I don't feel as if I'm any better than others and despite what they've said I've been unable to get into my school's CS program.

  18. Similar to ponies, griffins have split groups with the common variety (griffins) representing pegasi and a less common variety, keythongs representing unicorns/earth ponies. Canterlot is divided into multiple regions where the closer one is to the top, the higher in status they are. Near the bottom of the city are the slums which also happen to be the least watched by the guards (you work for the pony who signs your paycheck)
  19. After 3 years of research I can finally begin working on my compiler. Goodbye free time~

  20. For those of you programmers out there: If you could have a fully-functioning optimized language for application programming, what features would you want it to have? What would you want to be optional and what would you want built into the language? Is there anything you would definitely want kept OUT of the language? (I've been designing a programming language optimized for frame based programs (games, videos, etc) over the past few years and thought it would be interesting to see if our tastes matched up)
  21. Bad: I like to pace while I think, and do so anywhere from 15minutes to several hours each day. Neutral: Whenever I have a pen or mechanical pencil, I have to take it apart. I usually put them back together, but sometimes I mix the pieces to make one I prefer. If someone is having a problem with something I know a lot about I'll usually try to help out, but I can get sidetracked and tell them vastly more than they needed to know. Every day after I wake up and before I go to sleep I will either read or do research. It's not that bad until you realize I've passed 5k pages of research papers and implementation specs, and read more than 30 million words of fan fiction in the last few years. Good: If someone invites me over, ill almost always bring food because I've grown accustomed to cooking every meal over the last two years.
  22. I'm currently taking a course on Swearing and Taboo Language which has been really interesting. I've also taken Sociology of Rock and Roll, Engineering a Linux Kernel, and Intro to Game Engine Design.
  23. A nice heaping pile of partially cooked kitfo with kitenga rolls on the side and a cup of mango juice.
  24. Wake up before my alarm. Do research for a half hour or so until it goes off, hit 'dismiss' three times so it stops ringing, and continue to lay in bed for the next hour. Get up, get breakfast, shower, and pace for about an hour. If it is {Monday, Wednesday} realize I've not done any homework and rush to finish it before heading to class from ~11am to ~5pm.
  25. I would change my legal name to Crosthe Austair, a pseudonym I've been using for 8 years. Though it's a bit odd how often people completely mispronounce the name.
