  1. Are you trying to get an insight into the community's personality and orientation to rate their own merits, weighing up the community's introversion, extrovertion and self-esteem tendencies or are you just looking for a date?
  2. I not exactly cute. I try and maintain a more rugged look. Doesn't mean I can't act like a puppy dog sometimes. Maybe 5?
  3. I don't collect any pony stuff. I collect CDs, guitars, games (Master System more than others), musical instruments, that sort of thing. I don't pick up as many games as I did when I first came into disposable income. I've considered selling off most of my collection except for the fact that it's barely worth anything. I might get £200- £250 for the lot? It's probably worth more in my collection than in money.
  4. I'm not an artist but this looks good to me. The head and face is pretty much perfect. I've always had kind of a soft spot for Amy Rose.
  5. I sure do. Love me some cheese. Chedder, Red Leicester, Double Glouster, Stilton, Goats Cheese, Gorgonzola, Camembert... Delish. In sandwiches, baked, on toast, on crackers... Love it.
  6. I decided I was a fan coinciding with the end of season 3. I was catching up on the entire thing on youtube, got to the end and was absolutely [dingleberried] when I found out the season had just ended.

    Yeah man, that's a killer line-up.
  8. I enjoyed my time playing Terreria on 360. My file somehow got corrupted and scrambled my game world, destroying my giant glass tower. I wouldn't mind getting back into it but I would want to play online and I don't have Xbox Live nor a PC. It's not available for Mac.

They seem to be in the UK quite a bit. I've seen them at Download, in Bristol with Devin, in Bristol with Between the Buried And Me and in London with Meshuggah (w/ Devin). If you ask me, their live shows are a bit underwhelming. They're great but it's a bit too 'perfect'. Yeah, Devin's a lovely bloke.
  10. 'This isn't rock, it's bomb and bomb beats everything' Damn you Pinkie.
  11. Well, if it's a meal from a posh restaurant then chances are I wouldn't even attempt to gather all the ingredients that I would need. Too many random obscure things that I wouldn't have just laying around at home on a regular basis. If I had the exact recipe then I could give it a try. However, I've been to enough average pub restaurants where I just say 'yeah, I could do so much better than this'.
  12. My dinner. I made a sort of improvised stroganoff using diced pork loin, mushrooms, onions, peppers, peas, salt/pepper, thyme and cream served with pasta. For pudding I had apple strudel.
  13. So guys, I want you to recommend me a genuinely scary book. I like to read. I don't read as much as I should but I do enjoy it. Growing up I enjoyed the 'Demonata' series by Darren Shan and recently delved into 'Call Of C'thulu and Other Weird Tales' followed by Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. The 'Demonata' series always came with a message on the back of the book saying 'Warning: Seriously Scary', H.P.Lovecraft is considered a forefather of modern horror and is the influence behind classic horror games like 'Eternal Darkness' and 'Amnesia' while Frankenstein is considered a landmark of the genre help along by the Universal film of the same name. The problem is, to me, none of these are actually scary. The Demonata basically describes a lot of gore and the actual scariness of anything described I just got used to while reading. Lovecraft's stories, while weird and well thought out with a rich back story, didn't illicit any actual fear from me. 'A Shadow Over Innsmouth' came close but still didn't do it while a lot of his stuff I found very underwhelming. Frankenstein I'm enjoying but so far it's not a horror story, it's a drama. Now, I'm aware I'm not especially well-read. My personal library is small and my list of finished books as an adult is thin. However, enough novels have had me feel sadness, intrigue, joy, wonder and excitement but yet have any made me feel genuine fear the way games and movies have. You can't jump-scare in a book but then even games like Silent Hill 2, which focus more on psychological aspects, make me feel more sadness than actual horror. So go on then bronies, have at you. Do your worst. Show me the most terrifying book you have ever read. Not spooky, HORRIFYING! Make me wince. Make me cry. No, I've never read any Stephen King. What's his most horrible? What's his scariest? How do I avoid his complete nonsense like 'The Langoliers'?
  14. Considering the vastness of the universe it's probably mathematical fact that there is intelligent life somewhere. However, the problem is that due to the limits of speed (the universal speed limit the speed of light) chances are we'd never see it even if there was. We simply wouldn't be able to travel back and forth to an alien civilisation fast enough to make any sort of meaningful developments without dying of old age in transit. It think it's considered relatively likely that we could pick up a rogue radio broadcast one day. The earliest radio broadcasts that we made are still travelling through space, ready to be picked up by other life forms.
  15. Absolutely but it seems there're rules about this sort of thing. For one thing I'm not allowed on the bed or the sofa, I have to stay on the floor. I try and ask for it but master doesn't move so I just have to go sit by him and he sometimes strokes my head instead. Some people give me belly rubs and it's great, my leg shakes and everything. I'll settle for a scratch behind the ear though, that's good too. I have to go now, apparently it's time for walkies.

Y'know, I'm not an especially big fan of the DTP, to me it's just alright/good, I haven't listened to enough to really appreciate it yet somehow I've seen them live 5 times. I've seen them with Meshuggah in London, Supported by Perphery in Bristol, at Download 2012, I saw the Retinal Circus streamed and Devin did a signing and acoustic set in a record shop. He's just the nicest, funniest guy and I absolutely love him. He just keeps popping up in my life. Anyone got any good gigs coming up? I'm seeing: Deftones at Wembly 21/11 SikTh in Bristol 10/12 The Darkness in Bristol 13/12 If funds, tickets and transport are available I might try and catch Sepultura, Slayer and Apocalyptica.
  17. It's alright. It's certainly informative but I don't find it especially entertaining.
  18. My name is Rideout. It's an old English occupational name. It means 'Outrider' as in a scout or horse rider.
  19. I have long hair. I brush it when it's wet otherwise it dries in the fluffiest, most uncomfortable positions.
  20. I had my right wrist broken in a football (soccer) accident. We were playing in PE in school and I was in goal. I wasn't given goalkeeping gloves. I was ready to catch a strike but the ball hit my hand in the fleshy thumb part causing a fracture. I didn't think it was to bad until a week later when I realized that hand was strong enough to cut my dinner so we went to the hospital. The sound of a kicked football still makes me flinch.
  21. I have an Amel Cornsnake named Dusk. My job and lifestyle leaves me away from home for periods too long to care for most animals adequately so I needed a pet that could pretty much take care of itself. Voila, a snake. Also pets aren't allowed in my tenancy but caged animals are ok.
  22. If I'm typing properly with two hands then I'll tend to use the right shift but if I'm being lazy and just using one hand then I'll just use the closest one to the letter. Surely one-handed typing is the reason there are two in the first place.
  23. Immediately find the nearest business owner or tradesman and beg to be an apprentice. That's probably be the best thing I could do to immediately not useless. I could probably be a farm hand or something I suppose. Hopefully I could use my basic knowledge of hygiene to not immediately catch a disease. Seriously, I'm sure washing your hands or covering your mouth when you sneeze didn't exist back then. I'm immediately reminded of this sketch by Armstrong and Miller hmm... I just used the word immediately 4 times... Edit: On reflection, chances are I wouldn't be speaking the same language as everyone else. I would essentially be screwed.
  24. Forgive me if someone has mentioned this in this thread already but am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that Tank is in the episode? I know that there is quite little continuity between episodes but when did he come out of hibernation? Was there a celebration? What season is it now? You can't just wrench our hearts taking him away in such an emotional fashion and just have him fine a few weeks later with no mention.
  25. I learned to cook from working in care. I could follow a recipe before but I really started to shine after finding work. I seem to have a very logical, scientific mind and I really got into understanding food and understanding the functions and purposes of all the ingrediants and the so-called rules of cooking. Once you really understand a recipe and understand why certain things are done the way they are then you can go through life without needing a recipe ever again.
