  1. Way too much. Unless I have plans, it takes up most of my waking day. It's become my primary source of entertainment, with my favourite shows being AVGN, Nostalgia Critic, Game Grumps and the like. I all to easily binge watch youtube videos or refresh pages hoping for the next update. It's actually kind of sad. I need to try to encourage my other hobbies but the internet just has this very quick instantaneous quality that has made it very hard for me to commit to starting a new film or game or book or anything really. Also, the world has digitised itself to the point of everything being online and scouring my facebook page feels like the only way to be involved in anything social anymore.
  2. Absolutely fine with them, they're for my benefit. I tend not to look at them happening though.
  3. I used to visit Screwattack a lot more but not so much nowadays. I was without internet for 2 years and missed out their changes of staff, personality, etc and when I came back it just didn't have nearly as much to offer. Explosm.net I used to visit everyday but I haven't visited it for a long time.
  4. Because the pointy bits, including the corners, going right into the middle of the foot really friggin' hurts and the blocks are so small that they catch you completely by surprise. What was the best construction toy (lego, Meccano, K'nex, stickle bricks, etc?)
  5. I visit UK Of Equestria occasionally. It's nice to be aware of more local pony happenings but I'm not really that engaged on that forum.
  6. Hmm, interesting. I wanted to assume that 'romantic partner' would be slightly heavier judging by my experience lately.
  7. Chocolate cheese. So bad that my older brother would force feed it too me because he was bigger than me then.
  8. So folks, if somebody introduces some to you as their 'partner' what do you immediately assume they mean? I honestly want to know what the majority of people think because I immediately think of a business or work partner and have introduced other people as such which has led to very many misunderstandings and assumptions about my romantic statuses. When I think someone is about to introduce me to a romantic partner I just naturally expect them to say 'boyfriend' or 'girlfriend'. You guys?
  9. This band: What's the scariest book ever written?
  10. The definition of 'classic-rock' is no doubt going to be very up for debate but that said, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, The Darkness, Status Quo, Foreigner, Mr Big, Queen, Rory Gallagher, The Stray Cats. Like I said, some of these might not be the genre you're looking for.
  11. I saw Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse being arrested outside the Eiffel Tower in Paris. My god I wish I knew why. Possibly they were panhandlers that were coaxing money out tourists but I'd rather imagine that they had escaped from Disneyland.
  12. Absolutely. Timeless music that's still great to listen to to this day.
  13. Probably immediately jump and leg it to the other side of the room because in real life I'm not that fond of equines. As soon as it dawned that it was in fact Fluttershy I would try to find out just what the hell was going on.
  14. Please name some more, I want to know. The Trubbish line and ice cream line are always at the top of the list. Anything else? My favourites: Bisharp, Krookodile, Leavanny, Galvantula, Scrafty, Hydreigon and Volcorona.
  15. Imagine by Brunch. I discovered this through the 'There She Is!' series by SamBakZa like, I'm pretty, most people who've heard this song. I then imported their album from Korea. It's a shame the English chart culture seems to downright refuse anything that isn't sang in English.
  16. Inside Out. It was the first time I'd been to the cinema in about 8 years. It was amazing and gorgeous and I would absolutely pay to see it in the cinema all over again.
  17. I've started playing Serious Sam 3. It's pretty fun and harkons back to a more retro style of frantic sensibilities. However I'm 5 levels in and I'm still in a dusty yellow Egyptian city. A bit more variety of environment would be nice at this point.
  18. Not much. When I started learning guitar that would be all I would listen for in a song. I would pay attention to the vocal melody but the actual lyrical content tended to pass me by, especially since I listened to a lot of metal and I couldn't hear the lyrics anyway. Nowadays I pay a bit more attention to them but I only really understand them if I read the lyrics somewhere.
  19. Well David Tennant has been the only Doctor I have spent any significant amount of time with so I can only say him but everything about him was so perfect. He could go from lovable wackiness to seething anger very convincingly and to me he is just the definitive Doctor especially since he followed Christopher Ecclestone who just seemed to come across as kind of a douche. I met Colin Baker at a convention last month. He looked very bored, no one was talking to him.
  20. Oranges are good but I could live without them unlike potatoes which are a pretty standard carbohydrate source.
  21. I am absolutely a fan. In fact, just last night it really dawned on me how damn good they really were. I was quietly drinking beer and listening to 'Nevermind' when I really realised how much passion and personality went into their music. I'm sure there are plenty who assure me how I would get over that greasy nonsense as I matured but only now that my tastes have matured to I realise it's true artistic merits.
  22. If the fandom disappeared then I would probably still watch but it would soon die and stop being made. I wouldn't have watched it in the first place without the fandom bringing it all the attention it received and spiking my curiosity.
  23. Definitely the Sonic Adventure games. Nowadays I just consider them ridiculous on so many levels. There's a few PC games that I've tried and just don't get along with compared to modern design philosophy. System Shock 2, Alone In The Dark, King's Quest, there's some others that escape my mind right now and I'm not even sure if they were just rubbish in the first place.
  24. I use an Apple Magic Mouse. It does cool stuff for my Mac but for gaming it's useless because it only has one actual button. Want to hold right click to aim and left click to shoot? Nope. Also have a cheap USB Logitech lying around.
  25. I live in an apartment. I don't necessarily need a house at this point of my life.
