  1. I'm more bothered by the fact that Derpy was on their team at all and Microchip wasn't picked for the spelling bee.
  2. 1. They didn't know the pendants were important. 2. That would be stealing. 3. The Siren's could legitimately take the Human 7 down for theft and there would be nothing they could do about it. 4. The Siren's would have known the Human 7 were on to them and plan counter-measures accordingly. 5. Letting an enemy who can mind control dozens, possibly hundreds of people know you are on to them is the worst move you can make against someone with such a power. For that last one, imagine if the Sirens were in Equestria. They would be mind controlling people subtly to get what they want, and it'd be feasible to actually ambush them as they are not actively hiding but being subtle about their intentions. If the protagonists were to declare war on the Sirens, the subtly would no longer be necessary, they could cut to the chase and mind control everyone to attack the protagonists while they hide in a now heavily fortified Equestrian castle, awaiting the heads of their enemies to be delivered to them by their hundreds of mindlessly devoted servants. I hope that clears up why it would be a bad idea to let the Sirens know you're on to them.
  3. She is as strong or as weak as the moment requires. Most characters maintain some kind of constant, Pinkie Pie is one character who does not. Another is Rainbow Dash who can withstand slamming into a factory which explodes in her face at 500 miles an hour from orbit with little or no damage, but then breaks her leg in a mundane accident.
  4. I like to think that on the first day she went full survival mode and foraged/hunted food in the forest and constructed as makeshift shelter, which she then upgraded into a hand-build log cabin. She would have subsisted on fresh-stream or lake water and fish and fruits. I'm not sure if she'd have hunted mamals or birds or anything, as although I don't watch FiM, I vaguely recall learning Ponies are not carnivores or even omnivores. I am aware that Fish is technically meat, but Fish is often lumped into it's own category. She would eventually make some money by selling wood sculptures of excellent quality. This all assumed she adapts to using her new body/hands rather quickly.
  5. If she does appear, she would be a totally different character, as the reasons for her being the way she is in FiM would be completely absent in EqG. They could, in fact, use the character to make the point that not everything in the Human world is the same as the Equestrian one. Probably the same reason why Diamond Tiara probably isn't enemies with the Cutie Human Crusaders, the reason for their contention never existed as it did in FiM.
  6. FiM was also a toy selling scheme. They're still forcing toys into our faces in FiM. I apologize if I've diverted things a bit here, but it always gets me when people mention this, usually because I just assume they don't think FiM is a toy selling scheme as well, which is wrong.
  7. I think they said they had Equestria Girls stuff until 2017. Personally I think they should do a series. The Dazzlings and The Shadowbolts are an example of how you can only develop so many characters in the span of a movie, the Dazzling, only numbering three, got lots of development time. The Shadowbolts were twice that much and only 2 of them had enough time to flesh them out in the form of Sour Sweet and Sugar Coat. Indigo Zap is debatable, Sunny only got a few lines and it was hard to tell what her character was supposed to represent, and poor Lemon Zest only had one line, though somehow you were instantly able to tell she was some kind of loud rocker.
  8. I don't consider all of the Shadowbolts villains, they were just the opposing team. The ones who were clearly mean spirited got what time they needed to demonstrate what a deleterious effect Crystal Preps style of teaching had on their young minds. I'm not refuting or challenging your analysis, I somewhat agree with it, but these are just my thoughts. Poor Lemon Zest only had one line in the entire movie, and from what we saw, we can only conclude she, unlike the others, was actually kind of nice. Maybe that's why, against all odds, she is somehow my favorite Shadowbolt,
  9. I bet you all Steak Dinners that Pony Sparkle will appear in LoE as they recycle the cut scenes and side-plot from Friendship Games. Ya know, the one where Sunset is homesick and misses doing magic stuff? It will probably be Sunset's mini-arc for LoE.
  10. Bare in mind that only Alicorns are tall. Most Ponies look the same height and build wise.
  11. I like to think she lives as an actual alchemist and mystic in the Everfree Forest. That is to say, she would actually still be a mystical/supernatural character.
  12. It's not a time machine, but time is not chronologically in synch between the two worlds.
  13. Mine assume an episodic series format. My idea for such a series would be a sort of Scooby Doo kind of deal with "The Gang" solving mysteries, mundane, magical and scientific and occasionally dealing with antagonists. The meta-plot of the series would be that the Human world used to have abundant magic, and the gang try to research and find out more about it, as well as dealing with supernatural threats which have been stirred as a result of Equestrian Magic intruding into their world. While FiM deals with Greek Mythology, I would have EqG deal with English Fae based mythology and occultism. Anyway, below are my ideas for FiM antagonists transplanted to EqG. Discord - Still an actual Chaos Spirit, but is seen in Human form. He is the eccentric, sometimes crazy and quite wealthy owner and curator of a Museum. He is discovered when the gang trace magic to his museum, and discover it is built on top of a magic hallow/layline, which Discord protects and uses. He would let the main characters use it if they win a game against him, solve a series of riddles or just entertain him, which would involve him getting up to the same kind of mischief you see him do in FiM. He is not picky about who he lets use the Hallow as long as they win the game or solve the riddles. He would make the exhibits come to life for shenanigans or send the main characters back in time through them to mess with them. King Sombra - Old King and later nobleman occultist. He would prolong his life through dark magic and update his appearance and persona as time went on. Currently missing(and presumed still out there by the mysticaly inclined) and the abandoned mansion of his last persona still stands in the Everfree. It'd have a secret cave network beneath it housing artefacts and dark magic. Exploring his creepy, possibly haunted mansion would be the setting of at least one episode or a movie. Possibly another episode later with the Dazzlings and/or Trixie trying to salvage some kind of magic or occult lore from it's ruin. Ahouxotl - James Bond style super villain frequently at odds with world famous explorer, adventurer, archaeologist and action hero Daring Do. If I was writing an Equestria Girls series he'd be a recurring antagonist as he frequently tries to use Science, Technology and Magic to take over the world. He would have been aware of Magic for years before the events of Equestria Girls. Starlight Glimmer - Quite different from her Pony counterpart, which would be the point, different worlds, different Butterfly effects. She is the daughter of a successful inventor or scientist and is friends with the Human version of Sunset Shimmer, who is still a bad girl. She sees the Equestrian visitors as dangerous intruders and wants to capture, study and banish them, possibly rallying the support of others for this with her charisma and reasoning. Human Shimmer - is a famous, up and coming scientist, explorer and archaeologist under the tutelage of the world famous Daring Do. She has noticed strange, supernatural things occurring in their world, and she sets out with an elite team to discover the secrets of these events. If I was a writer for EqG I would make this a movie. She teams up with her friend Starlight Glimmer and they recruit an elite team of world renowned experts including Doctor Whoves/Time Turner and Daring-Do as they set out to discover the source of the supernatural events which have been occurring across the world. I also had this idea of the group discovering Atlantis. Human Shimmer would largely stay as an antagonistic force, with occasional moments of sympathy and bonding with the main characters and her Pony counterpart.
  14. There is nothing to say that Sour Sweet and Sunny Flare don't have that kind of relationship. Sadly Sunny didn't get much focus in Friendship Games, and her being the bitchy, stuck-up, bossy self proclaimed "leader" might have made her more interesting, especially since she is supposed to be Rarity's counterpart.
  15. Looks all right to me, but I'm not sure about the top. The hair is definitely better. I always thought Human Sparkle looked kinda unkempt, like she neglected her looks and perhaps even her hygiene because she was too busy with SCIENCE and so forth, which to me always seemed like the message it was sending was that loneliness can effect you in negative ways, both physical and mental. She is starting to look much more presentable to me.
  16. Nobody at Crystal Prep knew Magic was a thing. It would just look like they were stealing one of their students possessions. What would they say to Cinch? "You're prized student stole our magic!" ? It doesn't help that Twilight didn't know it was magic, either. You're being rather irrational.
  17. I don't understand how people could see him as a jerk just from one line such as "we always win". They literally did always win,he was stating a fact.
  18. If Applejack stole the pendant not only would it be theft and possibly assault, but she'd probably be disqualified, and possibly all of Canterlot High would have to forfeit the games.
  19. I like to headcanon that the Dazzlings were immortal beings who have been around for at least 1000 years in the Human world, and as such are not only highly intelligent, experienced and knowledgeable(even Sonata) but have a secret lair somewhere filled with loot and supplies they've managed to gather over the years. One thing I imagine Adagio doing is being into collecting artefacts, art and memorabilia, not just for her own vanity and ego, but because she has been selling them in later eras when their age and rarity makes them valuable, which is one of the ways she's been sustaining the Siren's in terms of possessions. I like to think she's got all manner of old things, from old paintings, to black and white photos of famous people, and old outdated but antique technology like old timey music players, musical instruments, and so forth. This has all changed with the loss of their amulets and powers, and slowly their immortality is fading away, with them devolving to a normal Human state if they don't do something about it. This would lead to humorous, blurred perceptions of time and ageing from them like "With the small amount of vitality we have left, we will only live another 300 years!" with Sonata comically responding "But that's no time at all! D:"
  20. I don't think she would be fired for what she did at the Friendship Games as there would be no real evidence(here is evidence of magical flying pony girls!) and fact remains Crystal Prep is still an excellent school with high standards. It's arguably not her fault that everyone there decides to be jerky and selfish. If she got fired for something else though, probably Cadance would be put in charge.
  21. Not sure about hair styles, but I'd like to see new outfits. Personally I think Applejack should have wore Jeans or shorts of a similar material instead of a skirt.
  22. She will probably show up eventually. I'm hoping she's still in a kind of evil phase. If I were writing for EqG, I'd have Human Sunset as the antagonist of a movie where she is the rising-star protoge of world famous explorer, adventurer, archaeologist and historian Daring-Do, making both Sunset's the students of great people. She is also the student of Doctor Whoves/Time Turner, as she is also an inventor. The two have a crack-team of specialists including Doctor Whoves/Time Turner and Starlight Glimmer and possibly others. The Movie would be about Sunset's team discovering a source of old Human magic which is both dangerous and threatens to corrupt Human Sunset. This movie would explain more about Human world magic and history, and where all the magic went. I'd also have Discord as a Chaos spirit who is disguised as the eccentric Human curator of a Museum which is actually built on top of a magic hallow, which he protects. He'd somehow at least mildly related to the plot of the Movie, something to do with artefacts related to the archaeological dig Sunset's team is doing.
  23. I would have voted Adagio Dazzle but she is not present. Otherwise, I can't decide between Twilight and Trixie.
  24. I suspect that the cut scenes from Friendship Games involving Pony Sparkle will be recycled into the upcoming movie. It would be for the best, as homesick Sunset is a plot hook that deserves more time to itself rather than the small role it would have played in Friendship Games. And besides, she's probably gonna find the magical stuff she's been waiting for in Everfree Forest. Anyway, I'm thinking both Twilight's will be in the movie, but Pony Sparkle will probably just be a small cameo scene, like the coffee shop scene that was cut from Friendship Games. If they do end up with wings, what will be the reason for them having them? Like, what antagonist will they be fighting? Assuming the wings mean there is going to be a confrontation, that is. Personally I'd like to see Hydia from the original MLP movie come back as the antagonist of a EqG movie.
