  1. Personally I want them to keep these characters as supernatural/mythical beings, rather than making them normal Humans. It's all ready odd that Celestia and Luna have counterparts even though they're ancient. I like to think Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna are actually descendants of the Human counterparts of Princess Celestia and Luna. I have my own ideas for some of the characters which I enjoy toying with, but for Discord I have him as an actual Chaos Spirit, albeit one in Human form. He is still an ancient, magical being, but has adapted well to Human society. He is the eccentric owner of a Museum which he has built on top of a Mystical Hallow(a font of natural magic) which characters would sometimes need to use, but he will only let them if they successfully entertain him or solve riddles. He'd do weird stuff like making the exhibits come to life or put people in approximate magically created worlds based on them, like what he did with the Dungeons & Dragons episode of FIM. I don't really have an idea for Chrysalis, but I figure she'd still be a Chanegeling Queen and would be in hiding somewhere, or it would turn out she's some kind of Fae and has return to the Hedge or Avalon or whatever. I have this idea that Equestria Girls should focus on European Fae mythology, since FiM all ready focuses on Greek mythology. As for Tirek, I have him being similar to his G1 counterpart, but he was defeated a very long time ago and is no longer alive. Elements of his passing and the effects he has had on the world still remain though. I have a similar thing going with Sombra, but he is still possibly alive, being a powerful Necromancer and Occultist who was once a King, he was deposed and resorted to changing his identity throughout the ages as he keeps himself alive with dark magic. The latest incarnation of him was a wealthy professor who's mansion lies abandoned in the Everfree, which would be the focus of a movie, episodes(if EqG becomes a series) or a Halloween special or something, as characters try to uncover lost pieces of magical lore or just try to research his history.
  2. So are people only going to just repost this over and over and then say everything was badly animated? Or are there other examples? Personally I thought the pose was cute.
  3. Princess Twilight. Not the Human one, the one who is a Pony but turns into a Human. Then I'm not sure. I want to say Rainbow Dash, but for everything I like about her, there is something I don't like, but on the plus side that means she is a well balanced character, with both strengths and flaws.
  4. Actually I think I got the songs confused. What's the one at the end? With the party? Because that's the one I meant, with the Rainbow Dash segment being my favorite part of it.
  5. They really shouldn't cut Princess Twilight out of the series entirely. It would make the Pony scenes from the earlier instalments seem especially jarring in retrospect. Even to someone who doesn't watch FiM or was even aware it was it's own series, it would probably make them go "Hey remember those Ponies? What the hell happened to all that?" there is no getting past the fact they are a part of the lore.
  6. I feel like they're just bashing Flash Sentry at this point. Not sure if I am perceiving the situation properly, though. I also felt the after credits scene was, while amusing, completely pointless, but honestly I can't think of a good way to fit it into the movie itself besides being an after credits scene.
  7. I really want a Halloween special. One thing I'd like to see done in Holiday EqG specials is showing us the differences between Equestrian and Human holidays. For example, we have Halloween while Equestria has Nightmare Moon or whatever it's called, and both would have radically different origins. They will probably have to rename Christmas, though. And of course, I think it's time we see how Sunset has been living and what happened when she first came to the Human world, which I think would be suitable for a Thanksgiving special. You know, for her being grateful for what she has?
  8. Personally, what I want them to do is bring Starlight in but not as a main focus, and make her completely different. Because despite Human Sparkle being meant to emphasize it, many fans don't seem to understand that the Human versions are not the same characters as the Pony versions. I want them to bring in Starlight specifically to finally hit home that they are NOT the same characters, and that the two worlds are so different they can create completely different personalities. All the reasons for Starlight becoming a psycho are not present in the Human world, because Cutie Marks are not a thing and because she should be able to find a friend who moved away with Human technology and organization. What brought this on for me is how people are complaining about Filthy Rich being "Evil" in LoE. First, he's not really being evil, he's just expecting rent from a tenant, and second, Pony and Human Filthy Rich are not the same person. Why can't people understand?
  9. Movie 1 - Princess Twilight defeats and reforms Sunset Shimmer Movie 2 - Sunset Shimmer finds her place. Movie 3 - Sunset Shimmer defeats and reforms Human Sparkle. Movie 4 - Human Sparkle finds her place. Movie 5 - Human Sparkle defeats and reforms xy
  10. There is a Pony called Trixie and another called Machintosh. No, Scorpan was a King and Tirek conquered Scorpan's kingdom, enslaving him and cursing him to be a hideous Gargoyle. I don't watch FiM, but I watched G1 when I was a child. I do occasionally read up on FiM stuff when it involves something related to G1, and I would like to see them use characters like Emperor Grogar and King Lavan. Keeping with the Greek mythology theme of FiM, Lavan could be a Titan and Grogar could possibly have something to do with the Underworld/Tarterus. Hades himself wore a Ram's skin, so there might be a reference there.
  11. Actually I agree, in that I want to know more about the characters themselves. We still don't know where or how Sunset Shimmer has been living in the Human world, and how she first reacted to the Human world. I mean, what did she do for food and shelter upon arriving? I liked to think she went full survival, got to grips with her new body and built a shelter and foraged food in the nearby forest and lake or something.
  12. I think it could, but I think it would be sad if they just cut Equestrian stuff completely. I think it's sad enough as it is that Princess Twilight, the main character of the first two films, seems to be dismissed completely at this point. I was shocked they didn't salvage the coffee shop deleted scene from Friendship Games for Legend of Everfree. I hope they salvage it for the next movie at least. It just seems sad for her to be dismissed and forgotten when she's the one who started it all. What I do want them to do though is use "Human Magic" which is native to the Human world, instead of implying that all magic comes from Equestria. Something could have happened to the Human magic in the past and now it's awakening again or something. If we wanted more Equestrian magic and mythology wouldn't we just watch FiM? They should start coming up with some new magical lore an mythology for the Human world. Since Equestria is based on Greek mythology, the Human world should focus on another mythology like European Fae myth, with things like the Fae realms, nature and elemental spirits, dream realms, goblins and orcs and elves and trolls, and so forth. If it wasn't for the magic, we'd just have a teen drama. Yuck.
  13. I am undecided, it would be a good plot point for a future movie or a series if they were trying to decide if they should use their magic openly or not. Villains might take notice if they start using their powers frivolously. Like say, a James Bond style Super-Villain Ahuizotl or Human world Queen Chrysallis.
  14. I think that they should make "Human world magic" a thing, but it's hidden and forgotten, with a future movie(or series) focusing on finding it, protecting people from it's effects and researching it's history. The reason Equestrian magic could have been being unpredictable in the Human world is because it's mixing with Human world magic.(hence the stones, with Equestrian magic being stabilized into a stable, usable form by the Human magic) Basically I think it can't always be about Equestria and want to see some Human stuff. Like with how Equestrian mythology is based on Greek mythology, Human world magic and mythology could be based on European Fae mythology. I actually thought that's what Legend of Everfree was going to be about when they first released that teaser image of Gloriosa Daisy's design, she looked like some kind of Fae/Nature Spirit.
  15. I hope Sunset is bitchy because then she could be an antagonist. I was hoping the Pony Sunset would be the "bad girl" of the Mane 7, but no trace of her former character remains, she is a completely different character wearing the skin of the first movies antagonist.
  16. Read a few words further. I specifically said something like a Tank.
  17. Applejack would be an Engineer and Pilot, preferably something big and shooty like a Tank. Rainbow Dash would be the fighter pilot.
  18. Eventually yes, but not right now. I'm still hoping we get a series out of this...
  19. Science is cool and associated with being highly intelligent. Human Sparkle also aspired to be a scientist or an engineer.Even Even Pony Shimmer is into Science.
  20. I like to think that the Human world governments all ready know about magic, and possibly Sunset Shimmer. The reason why it seems that there is no magic in the Human world could be that the governments are keeping it secret, covering it up and are neutralizing, banishing or recruiting any magical elements that do occur.
  21. Well, any teen stuff that happens would be before and then during the journey to stop Human Shimmer. I envision the pacing of the movie as thus. 1. Introduction and teen stuff, possibly during Summer vacation, maybe show us where Sunset Shimmer has been living and how. What did she do when she first arrived in the Human world? 2. Salvage the coffee shop scene with Princess Twilight and Pony Shimmer 3. Pony Shimmer reads about Human Shimmer in News Paper and is amazed 4. Scene with Dazzlings plotting with Hydia and outlining their mission 5. Dazzlings team up with Human Shimmer 6. Mane 7 are summoned by Zecora and tasked with stopping Human Shimmer 7. Journey to catch up with Human Shimmer ensues. Possibly meet Discord on the way or maybe he is at destination all ready 8. Everyone shows up at Atlantis 9. Dazzlings get their powers back but are double-crossed by Human Shimmer. 10. Battle between Mane 7 and Dazzlings vs Human Shimmer. As for Science and Technology, yeah I'd enjoy that as well. I am most interested in seeing a distinction between the disparity of tech levels between the more advanced Human world and Equestria and how Pony Shimmer is interested in it. It's like the shorts/films forgets she is actually a Pony from another world sometimes. But I am also interested in letting Equestria Girls have it's own Magic and stepping out of Equestria's shadow. What I would do is, since Equestria is themed around Greek myth, theme the Human world's magic around English/European Fae Myth.
  22. What plot would I particularly want? Human Shimmer and The Dazzling to return. But if I was writing this... Human Sunset Shimmer, up and coming world prodigy scientist, historian and archaeologist, having studied under world famous Doctor Whoves Time-Turner and world explorer and archaeologist Daring-Do, has discovered startling anomalies occurring in the part of the world around a certain school. Approached by The Dazzlings, they tell her an untruthful account of what has been happening and how she can stop a magical catastrophe from happening. Using Equestrian magical energy captured by a device of her own devising, with the Dazzlings knowledge of the occult, she uses her genius to correlate data and such and discovers a second kind of magical energy, Human world magic, and is eventually lead to the Lost City of Atlantis, where the Dazzlings hope to regain their powers(and more) by stealing a lost mystical artefact of Human make. Assembling a crack team of specialists consisting of herself, her best friend Starlight Glimmer(mission coordinator), Professor Whoves Time-Turner, Daring-Do, and possibly some new characters, along with her newest recruits the Dazzlings, they race the Mane 7 to Atlantis. Human Shimmer seizes the artefact for herself and turns on the Dazzlings, knowing they were going to turn on her. Some background lore on Human magic, why there is a portal in Equestria which leads to the Human world, and why the Human magic went away. There would be a sub-plot regarding the Dazzlings who have been frequently receiving aid from a Human Witch - Hydia, and it was her who tells them how they can manipulate Sunset Shimmer and claim the artefact. Zecora could also appear as the Rival of Hydia who helps the Mane 7 oppose Sunset Shimmer and her plans. Maybe throw in some mythical/supernatural beings along the journey, like Discord perhaps.
  23. Physically they're in their early-mid teens, as they were the same height as the other school characters and passed easily for school girls. We can gauge age relative to the height of the students compared to Luna and Celestia, though it's worth noting that Celestia is a taller than average snu-snu monster, as you can usually see when she is standing next to Luna and Cinch. I'd say the Dazzlings(physically) and the Mane 7 are 15-16. All this talk of age, though, has me thinking. Now that the Dazzlings don't have their pendants, are they no longer immortal? Are they going to start ageing? If so, will they age normally? Or at an accelerated rate? The latter would add an extra incentive for them to regain their powers and might be an opportunity to see what they look like as adults. The Mane 7 could even help them get their immortality back out of a possibly undue sense of guilt for potentially killing the Dazzlings by destroying their pendants. So many possibilities.
  24. They released the first 10 minutes of Friendship Games before the movie airred as well. This isn't really any different.
