You shouldn't be watching any form of fiction, least of all something like FiM if you're going to over-think like this. It's just a cartoon. It's not amoral and wrong because it's not depicted as such within the context of the show. In other words, nothing bad will come of it because the writers wrote it so that nothing bad comes of it, the only things that happen are the things we see and are told about within the show or by the writers, nothing happens "off-screen" because they're just fiction.

A 4th movie is all ready confirmed, it's called Legend of Everfree. Anyway, I was shocked there was no after credits scene, not to mention that image on Derpibooru mentioning Chrysalis now being rendered fake.

I for one really dislike the lips they give some of the characters, particularly Luna and Celestia. Of note, during the Rally Song in Friendship Games, there is one moment where two characters(Aqua Blossom & Cherry Crash) are suddenly not depicted with the lips they usually have. They both look much nicer this way, especially Cherry Crash, who is CUTE without the lips.

It saves us from having to make new ones?

My main problem with mindless haters is that they often can't cite a valid reason to "hate" Equestria Girls, they just do, usually for a petty or invalid reason. The two main arguments I dislike the most are as follows... Badly Written People often accuse Equestria Girls/Rainbow Rocks of being badly written, and then say that FiM is itself well written, I am suspicious of this argument because the quality of FiM's writing varies wildly. For example, how many times has a threat in FiM been defeated by a McGuffin or a Deus Ex? Quite a lot. Remember when Discord was defeated twice while he sat on a chair and did nothing? Remember how the technology level is supposed to be low yet every now and then we see Human cities with Jumbotron TV's and Airports with computers and metal detectors? There seems to be no kind of restraint, ruleset or theme for writing the show and there is no overlaying unity amongst the writers. Don't forget, Twilight had never seen a computer before in Equestria Girls, and I highly doubt she would not know they exist if they did in fact exist in her world. I'm not ragging on Friendship is Magic, even though I don't watch it(I prefer Equestria Girls), I do acknowledge that you can't judge the whole by some of it's parts, but saying FiM is inherently well written and Equestria Girls and Rainbow Rocks are not is double-standards. Made to sell toys Some people accuse Equestria Girls as a series as being a shallow attempt to sell toys. What they either don't know or simply try to hide is that Friendship is Magic itself was always about selling toys right from the start. It is, was and always will be about selling toys. This entire argument is just not valid. These are my two main complaints waith the "haters", comment and add personal insight at will.

I really like Applejack's dashing pose during her credit splash. I kinda wish they made her into more of a tough action girl.

It looks like you're deliberately demonizing the concept and trying to put it into as unflattering terms as possible. What if we discovered a new element to the periodic table of elements? Would it undermine the entire table and the related scientific fields? Or if we discovered we could improve a formulae by adding new elements? The 6 elements they use now could simply be what was needed up until now, when the time comes they may need more than what they have. Like I said in an earlier post, some elements they're using are arguably not necessary for "Harmony", particularly magic, which is supposed to be the most powerful. It's also never really stated what Sunset Shimmer contributed besides her friendship power, so we're just guessing at the moment and I'm sure they will explain it later, so your analogy and why you are bothered is moot.

I dunno, maybe it's a bit naive to think it should or would be set in stone that there can only ever be 6.

I hope that she's not. It'd be interesting to see more elements than the initial 6. Off the top of my head... - Wisdom - Forgiveness - Courage - Tolerance (or Understanding) - Honor - Diligence - Prudence (or Control or Restraint) - Patience (This could arguable be merged with Prudence) - Hope - Justice - Fortitude One idea that springs to mind is if, in the main series(FiM, which I don't even watch) they add a secondary group of Element bearers. I'll get this out of the way now before anyone starts saying the things I mentioned are "not elements of harmony"(which has happened before), what makes the current elements of harmony worthy of their station? Saying Magic is an element of harmony is like saying Electricity, Energy or Television is an element of harmony, and implying it is needed by people is tantamount to a drug addiction. Laughter is also arguably not necessary for people to attain harmony. What we did see, though, is a seventh colour added to the Rainbow of Friendship in addition to Twilight's.

Twilight Sparkle. We'd talk about Science, Technology, Space, and possibly the new world order we'd impose on the world.

I like to think the Dazzlings have a secret lair somewhere filled with loot and provisions. Considering her cunning and intelligence, I doubt Adagio didn't think to provide for herself. Honestly, the Siren's cant have just been singing at people to let them sleep somewhere for 1000 years, that wouldn't work and it'd look suspicious, not to mention their powers aren't at full strength unless they feast well on tons of conflict. As for Sonata being evil, I don't think so, she's probably just going with the flow since the other two are the only Sirens she knows, not to mention they're immortal(formerly) like her. She'd probably get super depressed if she left them and made new friends only for them to keep dying and wondering why she has stayed a teenager while they grow old and die. Anyway, my own theory is that the Amulets the Dazzlings use were created in the Human world to give them back their powers, since Starswirl sent them to the Human world because, allegedly, he thought they'd lose their powers there. I suspect they will reappear in Legend of Everfree and we'll meet the person who gave them their amulets. I'm hoping it's Hydia from the original MLP movie, since I'm a sucker for returning old characters and I want to see Human magic users.

Would you like the merch more if the dolls actually looked like the characters do in the show? Because although I would never consider buying girls dolls, the fact the dolls and their accompanying art look nothing like the show has always bugged me.

We all ready know it's someone called "Cinch". Chrysallis is confirmed to be part of the Freindship Games movie, though. I suspect they will be keeping the "Magical" entities like Sombra, Discord, Tirek, etc... for the 4th movie which seems like it might have be about Human world magic. That way they can remain magical entities and not just human counterparts.

What is the context? Which will win? Which we like more? Which team has the cutest girls? We don't know very much about the Shadowbolts at the moment.

I think that the amulets were given to them by someone in the Human World, and we will possibly see from whom in Legend of Everfree, which is probably going to be about Human World Magic. I'd like to see Hydia from the original MLP movie be the one to have given them the amulets, I love it when they bring back things from the older gens.

That the episodes are well written is debatable. Celestia still hasn't done anything except be in peril and need Twilight to do her job for her. Derpy has been so flanderized that they even renamed her after her flanderization focus. Most, if not all major villains after Chrysalis had little motivation, yes, even Tirek, after acquiring the magic, then what? Why, even Discord was defeated with no resistance and just sat there while he got shot by the McGuffin ray of Friendship, like all the other villains. Remember when The Crystal Empire implied Twilight passing a test was more important than the lives of an entire civilization? People mentioning that there is little they can do with the "Human World" setting, you seem to forget that this is fiction and they can pretty much do whatever they want with it. The big spoiler at the end of Friendship Games and the implications of the title of the fourth movie imply they're going the "Human World Magic" route, so there is magic related stuff they can do with the setting as well. Expect Hydia and possibly The Smooze and possibly Grogar to appear in Equestria Girls in the future.

They probably gave her a skirt because they were dead set on giving her spats/bike shorts, and those are semi-lewd to a lot of people. Mmm, girls in bike shorts...

I hate the lips thing. Two characters who normally appear with lips are shown for one moment during Rainbow Dashes song in the 10 minute teaser of Friendship Games and they both looked way cuter without the lips.

Well Sunset Shimmer is a good addition to the main cast, and I especially like how they made her a scientist, but I have stronger feelings towards Adagio Dazzle. I really appreciate, strong willed girls and I like her confidence, charisma and deep voice. Also the hip swaying...
