Think how many fans leave depends on how the transition to alicorn status happens, and when. if we draw this out a long time, it could work out really well! If the finale is the movie, this fandom will implode, yes. Not sure why fanfiction would lose creativity. Seems like creativity would be naturally encouraged what with a major change to the main characters being installed: change in fanfiction might feel mandatory to some writers. In a good way! hopefully. As they've been doing, the creators of the show will work hard to keep the show interesting and friendly to its existing fanbase, while helping Hasbro make bank off tacky toys.

Want to make two petty complaints. One, what kind of a name is Restaurant Row. The most boring kind!! Really, what even- Two~ Zesty was ruined. Beginning with, having Zesty go into The Tasty Treat at the end just to complain herself is weak. No self-respecting pony in her position would… Yes, she's an antagonist but must we make her an embarrassing one? Before that, she was nicely scathing. Really, to Rarity….. Ahem, but then she seemed just like a child. Writers went and made Zesty out with her apparently trying to control hungry ponies in Canterlot, rather than her having been writing her opinions, and other ponies liked them and followed them. This episode is a fairytale for ponies who read articles with "actually" in the title. What you find insane and hoity-toity you needn't eat; and what a food critic finds unsavory, they needn't comment on more than once. Lazily vilifying characters like those which inspired Zephyr Breeze and Zesty only shows ignorance and encourages stereotypes/inaccurate cliches. That paragraph may read passionately, but idk how important this actually is, la di da, bye

Hmmm. Maybe the Mane 6 in something like the Trail of Painted Ponies line. Very shiny, detailed painted ceramic. *u* Rarity's mane would look divine… This doesn't seem like something Hasbro would take, but. xD It'd be nice. *_*

Yes, for real, what is Fluttershy's job. Personally have so little/like no experience with a person in Zephyr's position, it's rather impossible to judge if his getting out of his hole was so easy as to really bring the episode down or not. Seems like it'd be way harder than presented, but MLP always and should be allowed to simplify things… ..This question pesters more than anything. Am a little peeved ( :awuh: ) at how Zephyr's interests/appearance very obviously played off a human stereotype that doesn't need it. Let the men wear their man buns, jesus. Pros of the episode! That Flutterdash, awwwww!!!! What good friends omg. So cute to see how Flutter's parents were so friendly and familiar with RD, clearly RD's been over many times before. picture the filly flutterdash sleepovers. Friendship is magic. Am fine with ZB's comments to Rainbow, how it was portrayed.. RD's grossed out expressions needn't mean anything more than she's arrogant and honest as always; moreover, Zephyr didn't much hit on her. He only alluded to her liking him and didn't, himself, even seem to much like her. Harmlessss. Or I've already forgotten contradicting details. Dialogue was great and Beil did a fab VA job. As a character created to be a nuisance, thought Zephyr was very likable.. guy had a problem. *shrugs* It was wonderful to see assertive Fluttershy, of course. Always love her and her episodes, but for certain their themes are repetitive.

Hey, you. Haven't you seen S5E15 "Rarity Investigates!"? The Raridash is very, very real.

First, thinking for all the time up to this moment and including this moment, that incorporating actual couples involving Mane 6 into the show would be a mistake. That said, casual fantasies/stray thought are fun. Rarishy is the CUTEST. For sure, Rarity uses sweet endearments with pretty much everypony but am i delusional or are they even better with fluttershy. She literally called her "sweetness" asdfghjkllk. Also, there was something…some little trivia or "hot?" interviews with the ponies on the Hub website at one point and Rarity said a tidbit about everypony; Fluttershy was last and Rarity was like, "And of course, my dear Fluttershy!" WHYYYYY that's adorable. Aside from Dash, Fluttershy gets matched up with Rarity the most in episodes, and Rarity with Fluttershy, more so than AJ even. The chemistry is real. It's a chemistry that lacks exploited friction so far too- in their own episode which was about a conflict between the two of them, they were both too nice to each other, that was the problem. it's just constant love and mane decorating and cute things best things. care 0% for thoughts of them as a romantic couple, they seem perfect as they are, actually. Fluttershy/Discord is also totally good. With some Rarity commentary, preferably.

Before the wars witnessed in all those time loops, this would be an easy question… Thought ponies were really peaceful. From the start, there were clearly some bad eggs, or at least discordant eggs, but did they create much suffering? But when Fluttershy is wielding a spear, something is clearly very, very wrong. If just because the show hasn't expanded into such devastating areas as humanity has, guess I prefer ponies to humans. There's…some kind of immediate preference towards humans, though, similar to an underdog sort of feeling. This must be because they're so horrible, surely they're the underdog. Despite being ruthlessly, actually on top. Hum. Would not want to become a pony. Would be to ignore humanity, and having been born into it, am far away from wanting to end my place in it.. Living is a lot of trying to observe heinousness with humor (Because otherwise it'd be crippling- that sort of thing.) and trying to make good. Can't abandon the fight. xP Will continue watching ponies, though, and wishing them well too.

Because she's so TALL. Height is to longevity in the poniverse. No, but, unless am missing something, think you're right. Sisters could've been immortal from the start, sure. Suppose immortal Twiley is popular/possible, though, because….well, why not? We know so little. Isn't it just as likely Celestia and Luna were born immortal as becoming an alicorn makes one immortal, as far as we know? And immortality is so fun, fun to think about and talk about, that would make it a popular idea, easily more than anything else. Personally, if I had to pick an answer (And without having to, I wouldn't. Haven't.) would say none of them are immortal, just very long-lived, Twilight included; enough to make her nicely grief-stricken when she outlives her mortal, non-alicorn pals. Because she's tall. Whoo, guesses. we know nothing. or we do and i know nothing.

Have thought very positively on the idea of alicorn Mane 6 for quite a while and like, like all of Buck Testa's thoughts in their first post. It'd be lovely to see a council of six leaders who preside over elements not quite so inherently possibly at war with each other as the sun and moon. (Hells, somepony/ies will still have to move those things but if they're not the center of attention (Like Mane 6's elements weren't when Luna/Celestia had their fight) that fiasco prob won't happen again, at least.) Sisters do have to retire sometime. Yet~ Unlikeable Pony's points.. Agreed. That agreement made, if MLP keeps running for more seasons, is it okay to hope that the focus could shift over to our other girls? If the show does continue on for a long time, think it'd be very satisfying to have new alicorns, considering what that means for a pony. And it's another lovely lesson: No one is a supporting character, we're all main, WE CAN ALL BE PRINCESSES YEAH. Everyone being able to become a princess was what I took most from Twilight's ascension and think it's adorable. If not specifically applicable IRL. *waves that away* Am hoping for a reality in which Mane 5 (Mane 6 with Starlight… really, if she would have moments with the others, we could start with Mane 7.) are much more than just supporters of Twiley. Everyone has their own ultimate destiny.

Sweep, sweep, sweep, sweep. Think this is the new second best Rarity episode after Sweet and Elite. Prob because of my Mane 6 bias and everypony was portrayed really positively. And Rarity, ofc. Third store! proud of you, cartoon equine!! Also, as mentioned by Perricone and Jeric, it was definitely in direct contrast to "Castle Sweet Castle" but yes, must say that's a plus. Advice works here, but not always there. A good lesson. Jokes were consistently funny, laughed several times. Thought Pinkie's "Too Many Pinkie Pies" joke, while a good idea, wasn't funny- but then the Pinkie Pie behind her was funny. Oh, comedy. Do we know who designs the clothing? So many outfits have been so lovely recently and while it is a fun feeling to give the credit to Rarity (Appropriate.) it would aalso be appropriate to appreciate a human too.. Is that part of character design, art design? i know nothing. but they're doing a wonderful job. "This ragtag group of ne'er do wells- ooh! heavens, I think he means you- came together…" she's so cute god why Oh edit. Do wanna say…one complaint…it would have been nice to have seen Starlight. It'd be a great episode for her! she could develop a trait unrelated to REDEMPTION and show it off with decorating inspiration. <3 Ah well.

Wah.. liked this episode a lot. Praise that Daniel Ingram, the MUSIC! The lyrics as well- Starlight's song about her spell whoa whoa. "Ghost of Hearth's Warming Present" kek. kek. After one viewing, that ghost's segment might be my favorite part of an episode that had no real bad parts for me. Think? Christmas tales do tend to downplay the giving of gifts so it was refreshing and surely valuable for Pink to remind the people that gift-giving may serve a beautiful purpose. Related to that, it was also sweet how Snowfall brought iffy gifts to the party (If the tooth is something to go by.) because she wasn't prepared, but Snowdash took it so happily. is that an obvious cliche sort of thing? hmm it seemed so cute. still does. <3 OTHER THINGS THAT WERE CUTE…the Flutterdash chilling on clouds together in the beginning and Rarity decorating Shy's mane at the end. cute things best things Ahum, holiday get-ups were consistently lovely too. Pinkie Pie looked especially nice in her golden bathrobe, I thought.. xD Really, though, it looked pretty. Ah, overall, this is my favorite episode from the season. So solid and beautiful and managed freshness with such a done story. The biggest plus imo is that it wasn't…the dialogue wasn't suffused with nothing lines. Pink yelling about cotton candy, ponies repeating things incessantly. this has been a big problem in s6, have thought, but this episode was filled with great lines. And so many great moments, so many. Ah, would quote, but too lazy. Wonderful episode, yay, bye

Idk how to review things. Biggest issue with this ep for my enjoyment was how sudden RD's becoming a Bolt was. Since S1E1 she's wanted this and it happened in a minute long teaser with only a derpy Scootaloo for fanfare. Was disappointing.. As always, thought the lesson was a worthy one though (As usual with S6) lamely portrayed. Skipping the latter of that sentence. On the former.. some groups will have such nicknames and customs as "Worst flyer cleans". If you don't like it, leave. Though first express your dislike.. as Pirate Pony said, whispering "That's not my name," doesn't help. RD volunteered for the Bolts, it's a very small group who do great things, and that's how they work. Some people will be completely unsuited for such a dynamic but it's not an invalid, automatically bad dynamic. The Bolts aren't bullies. If a new Bolt perceives them as such, they're unfit to be a Bolt. These last statements will be taken back if the Wonderbolts ever treat other ponies pointlessly disrespectfully (e.g. actually bully somepony) which is prob unlikely. This paragraph is all guesses, wdik. Rarity hairstyle was fabulous.
