I went - Staffed registration (Asst Dept Head) and had a blast. Loved the cider tasting, along with the special brew and bottle with special art on it. I didn't make the connection until you mentioned it, but you're absolutely right, since what they're teaching is completely different from everything in the rulebook, the book should be amended to accomodate it. I find your point very interesting. My aunt was a teacher (now retired), but I did find Neighsay VERY irritating and the fault is his for all the creatures leaving, but Twilight isn't totally blameless either. I'm very interested in how this continues on in the season. I also found it interesting that Silverstream was able to change to a seapony without the presence of the pearl...

I really liked the movie, it was what I expected it to be, and loved all the cameos -- Clear Skies, Trixie, Starlight, and the others -- that was awesome. The thing that bugged me was why the princesses were so stingy regarding Twilight's request for the Friendship Festival. Maybe Twilight wanted them to have a part in the festival and not just her doing it all with her friends. A minor irritation to be sure, but it made me wonder. I also agree with those above in hoping that there would be more resistance, like, where was the Royal Guard. Derpy taking the hit for Twilight was a great surprise.- 35 replies

One Small Thing, mainly because Pinkie is my favorite pony. Followed VERY closely by Time to be Awesome as Rainbow Dash is my number 2. -
I bought the entire season on Google Play, imagine my surprise when I saw this episode play when I had selected "To Change a Changeling"!

Returned from Bronycon yesterday and I had a blast!
My mission was also accomplished, I now have a Rara plushie that I really wanted. I also got some new deck mats to play the CCG on (the stained glass one is especially beautiful)!
I hope everypony that attended from here had a great time!

I am truly speechless after seeing this episode. All the feels, the 'forbidden' romance, and that Granny Smith accepted Pear Butter into the family after Grand Pear left...I just can't say anything more than what has already been posted here about the episode. I bow to the writers, animators, Daniel Ingram, William Shatner, and not the least Big Jim...everyone involved in this episode, y'all should be very proud!

On March 29th, my Mom lost her long battle with cancer. She was an amazing and strong woman and will be dearly missed.
Please take a moment to pray for anyone who is currently fighting this horrible disease.

Shit, I'm so sorry for your loss, yours and anyone else she was close to... cancer is a horrible jerk, if she remained kind and strong throughout that then that says a lot about what an inspirational person she was. While I'm not religious, I can at least try be more attentive when I see someone going through the same; I may not know the right words to say, but cancer deserves all the words it can fighting against it.
Best of luck to you and to those who knew your mum, and while I don't know her, thank you for doing all you have to support her during her battle and also before. *hugs*

I would friend the mane six (or at the very least Pinkie and Dash), then get crazy good at flying to race Dash, only to lose by a nose and be proud that I lost by that little. Then, I would find a job, a nice mare to have a family with (or a herd, depends), and settle down into a nice weather pony's job. -
