Being a staff member on this site sounds awesome, but I prefer not to apply for staff nor do I have the interest and time to be one because I’m not the most experienced user on this site nor do I have any sort of qualifications that meet staff level qualifications. From what I've undertstood, though furry can be defined in many ways as I said, most people think of furries as the people wearing fursuits and such. So unless you show up wearing a pony costume (which I know you won't, given what you said

), I don't think there's any reason for them to assume this. But to be honest, some people have a negative (and incorrect) view of bronies even without linking it to furries (and in fact, I'd say based on what you said that their view of furries may be pretty one-sided too).
In any case, if they're really your friends, they should have no problem with you liking MLP!

@Tacodidraokay, cool. My friends already know about my interest in the show, but they know about furries too and hate them. That's why I'm curious to know from others' knowledge about the differences.

Back when I was a tiny person, I watched a lot of TV, even on the big CRT TV my dad once owned. Those kinds of TVs have also been used for my Wii gaming experience But when I became 12, I stopped watching TV because of YouTube and the progress in technology (being able to watch videos and TV on phones and tablets and being able to play games) The only people in my family that watch TV now are my grandmother and little brother (and it’s all for the politics and Nickelodeon shows)

I’ve never been to a brony convention nor have have I attended a brony meetup. The reason is because of time concerns or anxiety. Also, I don’t have a job to even buy any access for any of the conventions. -
general College/School subjects you HATE

I HATE... -Algebra; it confuses me at times, so my only go-to would be Personal Finance, which I'm lucky my school offers that subject. Other than that, I try to avoid it as much as I can. -English; because I already speak that language fluently and I can also do an English (British) accent as well. Plus, I hate the projects and presentations we have to do, but oh well... -Chemistry; because I don't have the time to spend on studying every single tile on the periodical table and I had very poor performance in that subject back in 8th grade -P.E.; well, it wasn't too bad. Probably my most favorite out of the rest I listed on here. Back in 9th grade, I got a spirit of the year award from my P.E. teacher for being dedicated towards the subject. After the award, I just stopped trying. Lol. But it's not a bad experience -

I'm too lazy to sell my belongings, so I keep them. I used to own a Nintendo Wii (red variant) with two free games that I received as one of my Christmas gifts when I was 8. Just last year I took it apart to see what it looked like and I also physically destroyed the console as I had no need for it anymore nor did I need to pass it down to anyone else due to the progress in today's consoles and technologies.

I never though there were Masculine and Feminine ways of calling friends. I thought we just call our friends the way we usually call them. Other than that, I just call my friends by their names because it seems more natural and decent than having to call them “dude.” But there are rare occasions where I would call one of my friends “dude” but usually when I’m hesitant or in a rush.

I do have plenty of free time... on weekends that is! Lol. But seriously, yes I do tend to have free time, but mostly on weekends. But I'm lucky enough since I'm only 16 1/2. I can't wait until I'm in college so I can take responsibility of my student loans and taking care of my own car and trying to find a place to stay at in Colorado or Michigan when I move out of Cali (sarcasm).

I'm feeling pretty bored right now. I am having some tough discussions on Discord (the app, not the character) in regards of Pip's (or Nightmareglim's) behavior while at the same time trying to play some modded minecraft. Maybe I should quit that game.

Oh boy, do I love snow! But here in California, we barely get snow except for the mountains. Places such as Idylwild are great places to go during the winter for snow.

I wouldn't say she is the least favorite, but she isn't as popular as the rest of the mane 6. As a few others would say, she's referred to as a background pony, which seems kinda funny to me. She can be one of many people's favorite characters, just not in the top tier, though. -
What do you do when you're sick?

When I'm sick, I hang out on my desktop, laptop or phone to watch youtube, browse the forums, or do some art. Or I hang downstairs in my home and make some food and take medicine. -
When it's cold, I sleep in my left side. When I'm using my phone pretending to sleep, I am laying on my right side. But if it's cold, I lay on my back under a thick blanket.

I love to walk at night as long as I have my phone with me. I'd be scared of any sort of clowns roaming around, even in a safe neighborhood or community.

I don't have a beard, but I have a mustache (I look like a Mexican, but I'm actually a Spaniard). Though, I think a beard does look cool and I would prefer to have one over a macho mustache. -
