She essentially is Nightmare Moon. She's the product of a spell meant to reincarnate Nightmare Moon. Magic, memories, physical remains, it's all there, but the ingredient they couldn't add made all the difference. The soul, the hatred, the cruelty, the desire to be the mare everyone feared, they forgot that part.
tl;dr - She's the best little alicorn filly!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand it's Friday!
Not only is it Friday, but it's Friday after work. Let the weekend commence! 
My weekend's starting a little sooner than usual. I had to leave work early to go to a dentist appointment that went amazingly well. That just doesn't happen for me. The weekend could not possibly start any better!
I hope you're all also having a great weekend so far. It's only two days, but it's a whole two days to enjoy however you see fit.
Enjoy, have fun, and go make the best of it.

I like the idea of shipping the two, but as @Johnny1226 said, I think that it's best to keep their relationship as friends, and nothing more. Keeping the relationship alive in fanfics is best, because it gives the community freedom over the whole thing.

Good evening everypony! I feel like I have a lot of friends on here that I don't talk to much, which I need to fix. So to all of you that I don't talk to nearly enough, Hi there! How are you today?

Anyone else regularly listen to MLP's full extended theme song? Despite how old the intro you see at the start of every episode gets, I've always had a soft spot for the full version (partially because that specific song played a major role in my ever becoming a brony in the first place, but that's for another time).
Fun fact: the extended theme is actually canon within the show. Part of it is used in an episode, enough to differentiate it from the shortened version. Anyone have a guess as to which episode that was in?
I don't actually know that it was never used more than once, I just only know one particular instance.

@Totally Nyx If I'm not mistaken, the beginning of the extended theme (the part that Fluttershy sings in that clip) is the G1 MLP theme!
I've always preferred the extended version too, especially the part where all the characters are mentioned ("When danger makes me wanna hide...").
