  1. I can imagine a few of their initial responses, personally. Twilight: She was smart, almost too smart, and neurotic. Did you girls see what she did when her master plan fell to pieces? She completely lost her mind! Fluttershy: She acted so shy and gentle at first, but... to do something like that, while their backs were turned! That was horrible! Rarity: While I can't say I much like her way of doing things, those outfits were to die for... Applejack: I... have no idea what I just saw. Rainbow Dash: So she's the villain. Did you see how much butt she kicked?! It was... AWESOME! Pinkie Pie: Don't worry girls! I'd never do anything like that!
  2. While I do not deny your authenticity and the truth of the history as you speak, I would like to add that were it not for France, it is likely the United States as it is today would not exist, especially considering that they were responsible for backing up our own forces during the American Revolution, to the point that when we marched through France on Independence Day in 1917, the phrase, “Lafayette, nous ici!” (Lafayette, we are here!) was said by one of our own that day during a speech in Paris. Despite any differences we've had, France has been one of our country's staunchest allies for virtually our entire existence... predating even our Constitution and more impressively, predating the Articles of Confederation. It should go without saying that odds are we owe our independence as much to them as to our own founders. Yeah, they made some mistakes with their own country... Napoleon Bonaparte is more than enough example of that, but their hearts have always been in the right place. I'd also be remiss not to mention that many of our values were borrowed from France, from people like Voltaire and Rousseau. Yes, I'm also American, from Georgia.
  3. Before or after I asked Luna to stop smiling like she's the star of The Mask?
  4. Glacies looked around with his fair share of trepidation. Being in the tow of a Royal Guard was something he was not used to, and he felt like he was standing out far more than he would usually. He wrote a bit about the rounds as he continued to follow her, noting the guard's general level of enthusiasm, her way of handling the ponies around her, and the laws she would enforce. "Well, at least I'm learning something," he said, more to himself than anyone else as he continued to follow Sapphire.
  5. Glacies watched the young woman order the food with a half smile. He tapped his fingers against the table and looked up at the waitress and said, "I'll take a cup of chamomile tea and a small salad, if you'd be so kind." He looked back at his guest for the day and smiled kindly. "No need to worry. I understand. I usually become quite famished myself after working on one of my research projects for the school."
  6. "Hail to the king, baby." - as said by Bruce Campbell in the original Evil Dead trilogy. What, to you, is the most important thing you look for in a person as a potential friend?
  7. Well, there's more than enough ice puns to go around. Welcome aboard!
  8. "A bank robbery, huh? Celestia forbid," he said, muttering the last two words under his breath so as not to bring down the mood of the pony before him. He brought out his quill and parchment and spun the quill in the air before him. He opened a small ink bottle on the side of his saddle bag and brought it up to the paper as he began taking his notes on his observations. He didn't have much to write yet, but he had the feeling there wouldn't be much talking. In Sapphire's shoes, he would have been annoyed at having some worthless tagalong who couldn't help with anything.
  9. @Digital Blitz Glacies didn't notice that the other pony was any happier than he was. He stroked his chin at the idea of spending time with another pony outside of work for the first time in quite awhile, but thought little else of it. He took a look inside the building and smiled slightly. "Yes, this should do nicely," he said as he held the door open for the lady to make her way through. "After you."
  10. Be right and live in strife. Phenomenal cosmic power with itty bitty living space, or ordinary human power and absolute freedom of movement?
  11. You've improved a lot since I saw the original. I'm glad to see the improvement. It's a good bust.
  12. Meh, it'd be fine. In fact, I can even think of a fitting role for him. Have him play some puffed up overacting simp with a gigantic ego. He's good at overacting in such a way as to come off that way, and he can play it up to comedic effect.
  13. Eh, what the heck. Would you mind doing one for me? Sign saying something like, "Snowcones, one bit each."
  14. I'm... my OC... so I can use magic... Equestria here I come!
  15. I'd be more than willing to help set up, design, or work with people on any event. I'm pretty open to the idea, personally.
  16. Can't say they were the worst. I don't have many episodes I can't find a particular flaw in, though there are a couple that make me cringe (Trixie's maiden episode Boast Busters, for example). No, they're not the worst. Not the best, but not the worst by any stretch.
  17. A pony can dream, can't he?! But on a serious note, you're right. Perhaps I should add a cost to untap the card... life or generic mana, perhaps, like Mana Vault.
