    He was originally stationed in Hawaii originally as an aviation storekeeper but after Pearl Harbor happened (which he was present for) he was put on the USS Mississippi for the rest of the Pacific War.

    @Ol' Sarge He was good friend to me long ago on these forums. He was also happily married and a veteran of two combat deployments. It was a tragedy that befell him with the drama that unfolded over a forum game. I hope you're doing well wherever you are Sarge... (If you ever wondered why we have the age requirement it was because of that, these forums used to be open to all ages.)

    God I miss you buddy, I hope things didn't too bad with the drama that happened and I hope I did ya proud! I'm just finishing my own deployment to Afghanistan and I have to say after what I went through I have much more understanding and respect for you... Miss ya Sarge...

    I left this one for atleast a few years due to life priorities and show didn't really interest me anymore. Though I did come back it's more so for the community and the literature I enjoy reading. Even then I still don't really consider myself a member.

    Right now I'm not in any position to not eat meat even if wanted to stop which to be perfectly honest I don't. I have a really high caloric intake requirement for the amount of physical activity I have to do and I require vast quantities of protein due to that activity and being larger in stature. Now if I was say gotten much older (in my 50's) and I was more sedantary then I would consider a large reduction in meat products in my diet as it wouldn't be as necessary anymore.

    I heard someone play 'Bring me to life' but I can't unhear it in goofy's voice from a video I watched sometime ago...so now goofy singing "Wake me up!" was stuck in my head for a little while but it gave me a chuckle.

    The fact that I will eventually get to see my family and spend time with them. Then I just think about hanging with my brothers and doing shenanigans, in general just having a good time back at home...
