    Oh yes! I've forgotten how to reassemble a piece of equipment, I was working on at work, several times. Nowadays, I take pictures and keep a schematic handy. It sucks when I finish a pump and see an "extra" spring or bolt laying on the counter.

      In case anypony is wondering why the trees are white and sky is black, the landscape was shot in Near Infrared light.

    A quick look at Saturn and Mars. Tonight's imaging session was a bit short. Lack of sleep catching up to me. lol :orly:

      @DarkShadowPonY, I remember seeing a black dot pass in front of the Moon, while I was looking at it with the telescope. It was probably a bird or satellite. I don't think we're alone in the universe.

    Been a Sonic fan since I was a little kid. I use to watch Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog when it aired early in the morning before I had to go to school. I've played all the classic Sonic games tho I'm terrible at getting all the chaos emeralds. I did get all of em in the 1st game and all of the time stones in Sonic CD.

    Large cities I've visited (that come to mind): Atlanta Philadelphia D.C. Newark New York City Dallas Albuquerque New Orleans Yeah, I haven't traveled outside the U.S yet and I'm not much of a city person.

    Got the patio washed off and my Celestron C8 telescope ready to go. Mars will be the target for tonight. I wanted to image Venus in UV but I got off work a lil late. Next time.

    I normally get 7-7.5hrs of sleep during weekdays. If I get less than 6 hrs of sleep, I will be absolutely useless and feel like crap the rest of the day. Weekends aren't much different, usually 8 hrs of sleep.

    Ah, I see that the staff fixed the color projector for the forums. The black and white theme was pretty cool tho. :-P Anyway, how's everypony doing?

      @Tacodidra, My day was pretty decent. I'm just wore out from work. Had to come in early and leave late. lol.

      @TheTaZe, a research paper? I don't miss those days at all. The 10 page paper I had to do my senior year in college bout did me in. 

      @DivineLuna1000, at least until the color projector breaks again, eh? lol  :laugh:

      @Phosphor270 Not really, just a 2 page paper on someone and their significance in my life. It's for English. I could make it up to 5 pages but I don't think I wanna do that right now.

    I use to think being around 100 miles or so away from the coast would keep me safe from a hurricane. Hurricane Katrina proved me wrong. If you do plan to stay, have supplies, a backup plan, and a generator with fuel on standby. Stay safe out there.

    I took about a 6 year hiatus from gaming during and after college. Life got incredibly busy and stressful as I was working my way thru college and establishing a career. I returned to casually playing video games a few years ago after things settled down. I still don't play near as much as I did as a teenager, tho. Anybody else go thru a long period of time without touching a video game?

    Freedom Planet would have to be my favorite Steam game. I haven't played a 1st person shooter game since the James Bond 007 days.

    My first Steam game was Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Cute, fun game with awesome background music.

    I ate some tender beef ribs for supper. Fired up the oven at 275F and let em cook for 2hrs, while I cut the grass.

    Bottle rocket wars with my cousins. I got hit in the leg with one and I fell off the picnic table. That stung.

    I didn't get to know you much since I too joined very late ( just a couple months ago). I can understand your decision as I know interests change. Hope you find joy out there and drop a visit sometime.

    The gray scale theme has no effect on my near IR images. He he. There's no color outside the visible spectrum. :-P

    Thank you! Saturn and the rest of the planets orbit in the same direction around the sun. However, Venus and Uranus rotate in the opposite direction of their orbit, known as retrograde rotation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retrograde_and_prograde_motion.
