  1. They would be a very good choice. My concern is every episode they were in, they failed (Except for Viva Las Pegasus). The reason they failed is either they were being dishonest and deceptive or not smart enough to completely fool everyone. I personally wouldn't want someone dishonest as my lawyer.
  2. I didn't wanted an easy answer. I wanted a very hard thought out answer. And by doing it, they would come up with some interesting reasons. Those are the list of characters you probably wouldn't think of as your lawyer. And they are characters who had enough screentime to properly have an objective characteristics and things to back up your choice. I would choose Twilight because she's smart. That's obvious. And if you ask me which one from the list, I would choose Pinkie Pie or Spike because Pinkie Pie might end up with an unexpected good result, she could be obnoxious but I don't think she lacks intelligence. She is naturally lucky and good at profiling, analyzing. When she's dumb it's only when she chooses to be dumb. Spike would be fine since he's been a lot better along the way. Now since he's been around Twilight for so long, he would be good at organizing and dealing with documents. And from The Times They are a Changeling, he stands up for someone he cares, defends him. CMC's also could be a nice choice since they no longer run around seek their cutie marks like hopeless fillies. Now they can properly think, and would be serious. They might not be good at it, but they would sincerely try their best to help. Big Mac would be good since he talks when he has to talk. He is a reasonable nice and hard working guy. Those are what I'd like to read from people. Maybe I shouldn't have pointed out your comment since you had your honest opinion and your own reason. But I conducted a poll that way for a reason. Nice to know your opinion. I think Celestia would be a great choice.
  3. Well, If you could just choose anyone, I wouldn't choose anyone in the list.
  4. That might be a nice way, but still people who didn't saw EQG would be confused to see a close friend of Twilight since they never seen them being friends on screen. Probably better than a flashback. And an expositional dialogue would be awkward.
  5. Yeah. but the audience who doesn't know about her would be like "who's she?" and the people know her be like "why not call her before?"
  6. I'm dying for more Mane 6 focused episode. It is safe to say I mostly care about them. I frankly don't care about background characters (even derpy) and the young six, the pillars. My problem with the show is that there are not enough Mane 6. And dealing about flaws is not the only way to make a new episode about the character or develop a character. Revealing flaws is a good way to introduce a grounded, relatable character, overcoming flaws is a good character arc, setting up flaws can be a nice way to build a character around an archetype. But that's not all there is. Sometimes people get better and less flawed. Some people are very close to having no flaws. And that can still be an interesting character. Being a boring character is not always because of they lack flaws. Star Trek Next Gen has a pretty flawless captain. Hunter x Hunter has a flawless protagonist. There are lots of things to make a new good episode without bringing flaws on the table. The reason why The Mane 6 seems to be less relevant nowadays is because they are written badly. They also have less episodes. The writers don't know what to do with them from subtle details to big scale stories. That's why.
  7. I know it is most EQG fan's dream - What would be the best canon way to introduce Sunset Shimmer in a FiM episode? (if it's gonna happen)
  8. I haven’t thought of it that way before. But MLP is a tv show that is designed to be consumed by episodes that is self explanatory. By now when it is season 8, the new audience should watch all the previous important episodes to understand what’s goong on now. And I still think Hasbro didn’t planned to change the target audience in that way.
  9. long sleeper Pinkie as your lawyer vs Fluttershy as your lawyer
  10. Well then it makes more sense. But still, I believe Ponyville is a friendly place in general. There iare still lots of nice ponies around and at Magical Mystery Cure, it was just for dramatic effect. The whole episode was rushed so the consequence of Pinkie’s absence seemed more extreme I guess.
  11. No.... That’s a horrible headcanon. I don’t see any reasons why it would be that way. Because in the inside even ponies are not nice?
  12. I think it has something to do with her days at the rock farm. They always had oatmeal all day, every day. Pinkie Pie got sick of it. (That’s why she likes cupcakes and candies so much) Then when she moved out with Maud, eating something outside of the house for the first time in their life, Pinkie asked Maud what would she like to eat, Maud says something out of hundreds of things she could have said.
  13. Do you think the show put in too much fan services and references recently? And also making it inappropriately complex and takes itself too seriously? Appealing to elder fans vs Not caring about it and make it 100% self explanatory kids show What way do you think is to do it right? (by the way, I’m on the making it for kids 100% side because it was what I liked to begin with at the first place. And also, it should be equally fun for the first time viewers.)
  14. EQG : 2/10 Rainbow Rocks : 4/10 Friendship Games : 4/10 Legend of Everfree : 4/10
  15. How do you think what would it be like to see the OG human Sunset Shimmer? Any headcanons? Will there be a chance she would appear in the show? Interesting synopsis for that?
  16. For me, Rainbow Rocks is the best they could do as a sequel to a bad first movie. It has lots of good elements, but for me, story doesn’t flow naturally. It was still enjoyable. MLP The Moive is definitely not the best they could make, and lots of mediocrity, disappointing character screentime, but as a whole, I was on the ride through the whole journey. It felt like a more well rounded movie. So roughly speaking, Rainbow Rocks was like Justice League, MLP The Movie was like Captain America : The First Avenger.
  17. Ponies character designs almost look identical except for the miror details and colors, mane style. For my eyes, 99% of ponies are all eqally pretty. But we can presume it by how other ponies react to them. And as far as I can see, Rarity is one of the most charming ponies of Ponyville. The only other ponies described pretty in the show are Fluttershy, Mistmane.
  18. I don’t know since I haven’t seen G3 yet, but it can definitely be bad. I can tell by how the production schedule lined up so quickly when G4 isn’t even finished. I don’t like it when the sequel is planned too fast.
  19. Y’all reasonably right. Though I was shocked to see Discord trick the tree of harmony so easily since I thought the tree of harmony was like a divine intervention. (like how it knows every disharmony going on and knows exactly who can fix it, how it obliterated the mean six).
  20. If you put it that way, this episode is so weird. I still think inside jokes and jealousy parts are in the ‘ok’ area. Twilight at the end is giving Discord his own medicine, a slight payback and giving him a lesson by letting him know how being left out feels like and should not cause it. And Twilight definitely knows it already. I don’t think mane 5 was trying to mess with Twilight on purpose. But I still get why so many people thinks this episode is one of the worst of MLP.
  21. I forgot to put that one in. Tricking Rainbow Dash might have been a right choice since her ego was grtting too huge, but not feeling sorry about making her feel miserable and even slightly enjoying it was not a good sight.
  22. It was more like impossible to tell her because it can’t be explained properly. Even when they did, she still dodn’t got it.
