Same for me but with RDR2. I already basically knew how the game ended due to how common spoilers were even on unrelated parts of the internet. Game was still amazing though and 100% worth playing despite being spoiled.

Neither, I use “man” more often I think. Of those two options I guess I use dude more often but it’s not really a big part of my vocabulary.

Nothing too special. Blacked out areas are local stickers or magnet that you are (not) allowed to see. And the mismatched keycaps are because I lost those two specific ones at some point and never found them and I refuse to just not use this set because of that.

Ohio keeps swinging between Spring and Winter weather, and everything here is more or less still dead or brown except for grass, as is tradition. I did do a lot of cleaning yesterday, mostly vacuuming under things that don’t usually get vacuumed, dusting shelves, stuff like that.

I actually got sent a wrong item today. I received a Lexicon MPX110 (which is useless to me) instead of an RTX 3080. I think the person put the labels on the wrong boxes and whoever ordered the Lexicon is going to end up with a non-functional 3080 instead. So now I gotta return this effects processor thingy.

I bought a cheap mini PC that I’m going to mess around and do network storage stuff with.

Oppenheimer, finally. This didn’t feel like a 3 hour movie and I mean that in a good way. Very well paced, love how it jumped back and forth between time periods until everything comes full circle. Was also surprised at how grounded it was. There were some artistic liberties here and there but it largely seemed to be historically accurate. Great movie if you’re interested in The Manhattan Project, WW2, or nuclear history at all.

I wish Sega was still making consoles, they made some real wacky stuff hardware wise. Really, older consoles in general are just so much cooler than most of the modern ones. PS5 and Series X are more or less just PC hardware in a different form factor. Boring.

Oughghh, It’s hard to pick just one character I’m most similar to. I guess if I absolutely had to limit it to one it’d be Princess Luna. I’ve always been a night person, and I relate to her personal struggles quite a bit. If it’s not just one character I’d say I’m most similar to some combination of Luna-Izzy-Fluttershy-Misty-Twilight in that order. Luna, already mentioned. Izzy, I like making stuff, I like being creative, and I relate a lot to her general attitude. Fluttershy, I like animals and am generally soft spoken. Misty, anxiety, and the whole not fitting in thing like with Luna Twilight, I can be very neurotic and have a bad habit of sometimes hyper focusing on just one thing for an unhealthy amount of time without realizing it.

The majority of the ones in Ohio are invasive and aren’t even native to here so they serve almost no real ecological role, send em all to bug hell along with the stink bugs and lantern bugs

Well, the direct event was interesting. New DK game was the main highlight for me, that game looks awesome. The new Fromsoft game is kinda cool but it sounds like it’s gonna be a multiplayer type thing so meh. Not directly Switch 2 related but it was pretty cool getting the release date for the new Deltarune chapters as well, I’m really looking forward to that. I’m a bit sussed out by Nintendo pricing Mario Kart at $80 I think it is? And $90 for the physical edition, which sounds like just a download key from what I read and not an actual physical copy that could be played when servers go offline. 80-90 is just too much for a single game, man. There are very few games I’d say are flat out worth 80 or 90 bucks and a Mario Kart game ain’t one of em. I know there’s the inflation argument to be had about video game pricing, but paying $80 for a game is just crazy. Especially when there’s no way to refund or return the game if you don’t like it. Super especially so when it’s a Nintendo game, games that famously never go on sale or decrease in value on the used market. Can’t wait to pay $70 for a 4 year old game on eBay. Do not like that pricing at all. The actual console price is fine. $450 isn’t great but isn’t terrible either. Do wish that $450 got you an OLED screen though.

My eyesight continuing to get worse and worse sucks. Genuinely the biggest pet peeve I have about getting older, I wanna be able to see things without glasses again like when I was 12.

I’ve never heard of people eating fries with mayo tbh. Definitely prefer ketchup or gravy like with poutine. Or dipped in a frosty if you’re going to Wendy’s.
