Wait..."Queen of the Sparkling Seas"? That points pretty stongly to the picture book My Little Pony: Under the Sparkling Sea by Mary Jane Begin. That would place the undersea kingdom as Aquastria, ruled in Twilight's time by a King Leo, said in the story to be Celestia's cousin. The Queen might be Leo's wife (widow?) or a descendant!

I'm surprised that I haven't seen more posts about the official TTRPGs, especially since Renegade's My Little Pony Roleplaying Game is still pretty new. While we are on the subject, I think character creation is much faster and easier for River Horse's Tails of Equestria.

With the apparent end of Make Your Mark, I've been wondering if there will be tighter continuity between IDW's MLP comics and Tell Your Tale. Of course that would require a lot of coordination between the show staff and the comic's creators. Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale couldn't even maintain tight continuity between each other.

Originally, we got our MLP comics from Queen City Books on the north side of Buffalo. Lately, I've been getting them from Empire Comics here in Lackawanna.

Abada horns don't seem particularly magical but Abada do seem to possess their own cutie-mark magic. I made homebrews for them for both Tails of Equestria and the My Little Pony Roleplaying Game. Here's the former version: Oh, and here are the Kelpies of Farasi:

Just accept that there are three kinds of kelpies: 1) Equestrian Kelpies that live in lakes and rivers; 2) Sea Kelpies in the underwater city of Coltlantis; and 3) the Kelpies of Farasi. I've worked out homebrews for Tails of Equestria and for Renegade's My Little Pony Roleplaying Game (although the latter covers Equestrian Kelpies in the Dark Skies Over Equestria expansion). None of the kelpies appear in animation anyway. We can always say that comics stories that don't fit canon take place in an alternate universe!

I've been curious about the new creatures and lands revealed in IDW's Season 10 comics so I went to the source: Jeremy Whitley, who wrote most of the key issues of that run. And Jeremy replied! This is probably as close to an official answer as we are likely to get! Here is his response (with minor corrections): It's really nice to see the Undiscovered West utilized in Season 10. I've long wanted to see it explored. And it seems that the continent to the east of Equestria is much bigger than we knew! By the way, has it been commonly assumed that the Dragon Lands was an island, separated from the rest of the eastern continent?

Argyle died while conducting research on Bright Mack and Buttercup (Pear Butter)! His wife is in the same place as Legolas' mom.

Cover B (by artist JustaSuta) has been revealed for the first issue of My Little Pony: Set Your Sail. Little else is known about the comic yet, though it is likely to be the next miniseries following Kenbucky Roller Derby. Pictured is Izzy Moonbow as a Seapony. Maybe this connects to the route that seems to lead to Seaponies on the magical map to the Isle of Scaly! What do you think? Will the Mane 6 be visiting the undersea kingdom of Sequestria? Or maybe Aquastria or Coltlantis? Seaponies, Mermares and Kelpies, oh my!
